New York, 1950's. Office workers aren't interesting at first sight. But this isn't case of George, by origin an immigrant. Since starting a relationship with Meg he has to confront the double life he has as well as fact he's a member of the IRA. Can he be able to survive in the 50's New York full of armed groups or paper planes will have to influence events again?

One of my many headcanons on Paperman: During memories of his service in World War II, he realizes the song he heard as a soldier is his and his love's song. Based on the German love song Lili Marleen written in 1915 by Lale Andersen as Lili Marleen literally fits Paperman in my eyes.

A short tragedy I've written on Paperman about the love story of George and Meg, taking place after the movie.

George is out of a job and looking for work. One night while out on a date, he and Meg bump into an old friend of Meg's who will change their lives forever. Dancing, singing, this fic has it all! (This is a oneshot musical fic that pays homage to the classic Broadway and Hollywood musicals of the 1930s-1950s.)

Just my take on the post-credits scene, and what might have happened after. "'You know,' she says, lingering on the steps of her apartment building. 'In Japan, they say that folding a thousand paper cranes gets you a wish.' George smiles at that. 'I guess in New York, paper planes do the trick.'"
