An alternate start to season 2 of the CW show. Sophie Moore finds the Batsuit, taking up the role of Batwoman in the wake of Kate Kane's death. She'll struggle trying to figure out if she's really meant for the job, all while working under Kate's father Jacob. As well, Alice finally loses her mind in Arkham Asylum.

When i came back to Gotham after 5 years away and from another universe, I knew I'd have a lot on my plate protecting my city, but I never imagined it would be like this or how much things have changed from that old one, but I'll save my city by any means necessary. I am Batwoman. Part 3 of Second Chances.

Batman is gone. Kate Kane, Batwoman, continues her quest of protecting Gotham and trying to save Beth's soul. With new threats arising, new allies along with them. This series intends to deliver what could've been keeping its main hero. I'll be doing my best and open to any suggestions to keep the sameish/take some liberties with the show. Instead of what happened in the cave in 2.16, things play out a bit differently. Kate and Ryan both wear the mantle of Batwoman, protecting the city with some extra help. They'll need it, as a threat unlike any they have faced is coming to Gotham. Meanwhile, Ryan and Mary deal with the feelings they are developing for each other, while Kate and Sophie rebuild their relationship.
