Just a little headcanon based on a video on youtube i recently watched that wondered why they didn't put any backstory on Pitch Black the nightmare king and the main vilillian of the movie while in the books he has a (rather tragic) backstory. Gradual jackrabbit ship/ Pooka!jack AU It has been two years sense Jack has become a guardian and some spirits are angry with his new status and are willing to put Jack through the wringer however these spirits messed with the wrong person especially for a particular guardian and when something happens that guardian will be getting a surprise.

Things had gone differently, for the worst. Tsar Lunar made a mistake and he knows it. He just hopes the Guardians can fix him. "You would lie to yourself."

The man in the moon was aware that a war was coming, warned by Father Time 500 years prior. As such, when the time was running out and only one option presented itself, he created the only thing that could end it. But the man in the moon has made a mistake. One which the guardians must fix; along with their own.

The events unfold after the victory of the Guardians over Pitch Black in 2012. The kids have started to believe in Jack, but something is bothering him. He does not understand why the children have little faith in him and why he still feels lonely. Soon his strength begins to weaken, and he gets hot and cold, but he does not understand what is happening to him and begins to melt.

STORY UNDER REWRITE: Pitch has been keeping a secret locked up for thousands of years, but after his bout with the Guardians this little secret gets out. And who better to find out about it than our very own Jack Frost? But what will Jack do when he finds out just why Pitch kept this secret locked up for so long? And what will Pitch do to get it back that way?
