Valentine's Day is coming up, so let's rescue Duckie from singlehood before he gets too cynical. Takes place years after the 1986 film "Pretty in Pink". I don't own the characters from the movie and the only time I called a radio show was for a movie trivia contest.

What if more happened between Steff and Andie than we knew?

What if before the prom, Duckie wrote a letter to Andy to confess his true feelings and the real reason he didn't like Blane? What would happen if Steff could convince Andie that he was the one she should really be with? In the world there are two types of people, those who didn't know who they are and those that did. Kaia was one who know and when Seth begins to show interest in her will she stick to her values or fall for his charms. Is Steff put together as he thinks or is he just confused as the rest of the population label the beautiful ones.

This is a sequel story to my first story, "And Deep Down, You Know She's Right". Set in the same universe, this one is all about Steff and his life, and relationship with Elizabeth, again told from her point of view. This story is about their relationship/ups/downs, etc., Centrally focuses on Stefan's aversion to socialization which was briefly touched on in the first story.

A story for everyone who thought Andie shouldn't have ended up with Bland - sorry, Blane - and that a relationship with Steff, who has more appeal than every other boy in the movie combined, would have been far more interesting. Takes place shortly after the events of the movie.

Why was Steff so set against Blane and Andie? Every story has its seed.

This story is all about Steff, or Stefan, now a lawyer, and much older and wiser, and his relationship with a young woman named Elizabeth, his partner's daughter.

"You couldn't buy her, though, that's what's killing you, isn't it? Steff? That's it, Steff. She thinks you're shit. And deep down, you know she's right," Blane insisted, meeting Steff's eyes as he said the absolute truth that killed Steff more and more each day.

How Pretty in Pink should have ended. Because the Duck Man deserves his girl, and he and Andie were made for each other! A short scene following Duckie's fight with Steff and Andie's argument with Blane. Because sometimes it's not so easy to see the love that's right in front of us.

(This is a Steff/Andie fanfic. I know it hasn't been done much before, but I hope you'll give it a shot) This story is set after the Pretty in Pink characters have graduated.
