A new plot happens in Hot Wheels Battle Force 5. The Karmordials, when defeated, were not the greatest threat that the team had to defeat and with that unforeseen events loom.

There are creatures in the multiverse that are known as Smoke Shifters, people who can shift between two forms. A human form, and an animal. No one knew, not even the Sentients. When Rawkus leaves, he asks the last smoke shifter to keep an eye on BF5. It isn't easy, but she gets the job done, gaining friends along the way.

The foundations of balance and order within the Multiverse are crumbling. Her anchor back to earth is destroyed. Her teammates are scattered like ashes to the winds. As weeks drag on into months, her faith is dwindling. Can a certain series of events rekindle her prayer that there is still some hope left for the multiverse? Also on AO3

Just a short one-shot that I wrote for the 4th of July!

When the team goes into a battle zone that holds dead warriors, they accidently leave Katie behind in it. She begins to fade as the team forgets her, and wonders if she will ever make it out alive.

Zoom falls for the guardian a little more on this dangerous mission and learns there's more to her than serious focus and magic tricks, and it may be small, but he makes a move. Vert decides he likes to help the scout out...

For Vert, he seemed just fine not having a soulmate despite the emptiness. His parents weren't soulmates yet they loved each other. That's until he finds the markings of his soulmate. He'd thought it would be Zoom, Stanford, or even Grace. But nothing prepared him when he saw the first words that Krytus said to him.

the team gets paid a visit from Sherman and Spinner's Cousin John, and he discovers his Cousins little secret and wants to join the fight to save the galaxy.

For eons the Sentient war threatened the stability of the multiverse. It was only very recently, with the intervention of Rawkus, that a tentative armistice was declared. As part of the agreement, twice a year the Blue and Red Sentients come together to watch their champions in the Gladiator ring as a way to relieve tensions left over from centuries of war.

Chezarin Dracos was a 21 year old...well it was hard to say with being half human, she had been running from her past and yet now she was being asked to join a group of young adults who were saving the world. 7 years was a long time to be alone, maybe she could find some clarity in her life with this group of odd balls. Rated T but may change it to M later

Every leader needs his second-in-command. When the lights go out, the cars shut down, and the uniforms come off, she's still there for him.

Vert Wheeler is a mechanic with the perfect name for his job. He's a decent singer and knows a few guitar chords, but never had any notions of performing. But when the Battle Force 5, an up and coming A Capella group, need his voice for a competition, he reluctantly agrees. It also helps that the other baritone is cute. Shenanigans ensue.

Some AU ideas I wanted to share.

The BF5 encounter a dangerous battle zone during a lunar eclipse, having to take on not only the vandals, but a pack of fierce creatures. One of the team members is bitten, and strange things start happening around the town, reports of attacks and sightings of a large creature on the salt flats. They soon discover that this problem is more within their ranks than they once thought.

Vanille knew being a nurse involved a lot of surprises. There was nothing truly predictable. Sleeping with a patient was even less predictable. And it was so cliché.

Plagued by nightmares, Stanford finds himself losing a battle with his own demons. However, when Agura is threatened by a Red Sentient attack, Stanford takes a bullet that's meant for her. As the darkness closes in, he fights to keep his sanity. With one battle lost, the actions of the hunter may be the only thing to pull him back from the depths of insanity and madness.
