The prompt was simple. Roll a random TV Trope and use that to write a quick ficlet. I got "Coquettish Lip Biting" and Gaston promptly came to mind, so of course I had to roll with it. And really, Belle can't be faulted for admiring a good looking piece of man. Even if it is Gaston.

Set in the '91 world, these are a series of scenes showing how Belle and Beast got to know one another slowly over time and grew their friendship first. Lots of fluff with a little angst. It then recreates some memorable scenes towards the end—the Ballroom, Belle's return, and Beast's death—diving deeper into their thoughts and internal feelings. K for warm feelings.

More Grimm and less Disney - lemony content. More complex characters, not so typical emotions and events. Story is completed! I hope the ending is worthy of the characters I've created and honor their experience. **Sorry for the confusion on the last chapter - I mixed up the words Epilogue with Prologue - I corrected it (face palm!)
