When a royal family from overseas visits North Philly, the boys are eager to meet them. A minor incident sees Rudy stumbling across the eldest child, Prince Corbin, and the two discover that they look very identical to each other. Corbin gets the idea to switch places with Rudy for a week, resulting in living each other's lives to see how different it is from their own lives.

The residents of North Philadelphia are filled with dread, agony, and devastation as a string of murders occur within the month. Albert recounts the events that led to the kidnapping of his friends, his help in finding them, and the aftermath when they're rescued. All of them suffered physically, emotionally, and mentally, that the only way they can share their feelings is by writing entries in a journal.
