Every author writes a Curry and Heyes prison story. This is mine.

This will be an on-going piece of short stories with each chapter being a story unto itself, none more than about 5000 words. That way I won't be taking up so much space. While it says In Progress, each chapter will only be posted when complete

A story inspired by the drabble 'Injury Recovery' that I posted on 8/11/22.

I am visited by a rather gruntled Heyes, who has something to say about how I treat his partner in my writing.

Every episode has both major and minor characters and sometimes there is more to a minor character than meets the eye. Each Chapter will be about one such character. Not all chapters will fall in the same order as the series episodes, and likely one or two episodes will be skipped over (i.e. Return to Devil's Hole because I never watch that one).

Set after the boys have split in their teen years. The Kid is in trouble as a robbery he was involved in has gone terribly wrong and a rival gang has their eye on the take. But his and Heyes paths are about to cross once more.

Governor Moonlight's decision to resign has consequences for Heyes and Curry

After the cattle drive, Heyes and Curry end up in the infamous town of Deadwood. This is a crossover story with "Deadwood" (Story contains strong language)

This is a crossover, but as the category, Larry and Stretch could not be chosen, it is registered as Alias Smith and Jones The Texas Hellraisers, Valentine and Emeson has been separated, and Emerson has landed himself in a world of trouble. At the same time, a stranger to him, who calls himself Joshua Smith has been mistaken for Larry. While a gang of outlaws wants revenge.

What happens when your partner gets sick?

A job offered to Heyes and Kid by a friend of Wheat Carlson takes them down a dark path and shows them a glimmer of light

Heyes and Curry visit a sick friend and find themselves on a quest to find the one person who might be able to cure him. (A dual-author story by goldieasj and Eleanor Ward.)

Just a little dip into the ups and downs of the boys lives. A determined posse chase, ends with Heyes being captured. But hope and help comes from unexpected sources.

They've worked long and hard for amnesty but has their agreement with the governor derailed?

Had there been time to actually develop a plan for the absence of Hannibal Heyes in the third season, this might have been a plausible option.
