On May 12, 1984, the War Doctor had been keeping a close eye on the events surrounding a paradoxical predestination event that had been affecting both time and cross-time. Now he has come to step into some seemingly insignificant conflict and yet changes his life in a way that he does not expect.

This was an outline I wrote some years ago, for a Facebook sci-fi page writer's contest. I never wrote the whole story, but I think it stands pretty well, on its own.
