The Star Fleet gets a surprise when a new tugboat steams into their dock one morning. Although he is nice, everyone can't help but be scared of him. Ten Cents is determined to befriend the new tug, and a strong bond is soon formed. Contains headcanons. Rating may change.

This is the 1st installment of my Rider series. Zebedee lost his Rider years ago, but he is still shattered by her death, but when a very special were-cat shows up, his life changes in the blink of an eye. Johnny Cuba is once again on the rise. The Tugboat, for it's size, is the most powerful craft afloat. That much is true. But there was a lot more going on behind the scenes of the short lived show than met the eye. Mostly, a lot of bickering. And a race to gain control over the waterways of the Bigg City that could cost those in charge everything. This is TUGS Abridged. Zak has had enough with the Z-Stacks' poor business, and as a last resort to beat the Star Fleet, he brings in 14 tugboats from another port. The visitors known as the "X-Aces" think the fleet is organized and puts them in riches. Soon, the X-Aces betray most of the Z-Stacks and reveal to be a tugboat mafia. Then, they turn Bigg City and its industries into desperation.

The worst winter in years has struck Bigg City. The Star Tugs have their work cut out for them, fighting for contracts as the Z-Stacks get more desperate to defeat them as the cold settles in. And when an old enemy threatens the safety of everyone, Ten Cents and Sunshine must team up with new and familiar friends alike to save everyone.

A new fleet of tugs - which are fuel driven - come into Bigg City Port, taking all the work from the Star Fleet and Z-Stacks. The two rival tug fleets discover the newcomers are up to no good. They must stop these criminal tugs and get their work back.
