[One-shot Collection] Chapter II: Arthur looked back to where Curt had been standing just seconds ago before his gaze went back to the sparkling piece of jewelry, and in that second, the thought of going after him didn't feel like the terrible idea it certainly was.

An examination of some of the most significant happenings in the life of Kurt Wild from his unique perspective. Mixed in are some other people of literature who intersect with Kurt in the mysterious place where love intersects with philosophy.

Ten years after the Maxwell Demon fake assassination stunt and the later disappearance of the star himself, Curt Wild releases an album that drudges up all multitude of ghosts of the past, and in a whirlwind of nostalgia and tugs at heart strings, he finds himself flung back into the orbit of a man he once knew quite well.

Kurt Ahote, (based on Curt Wild of Velvet Goldmine and musician, Gregg Allman) is giving his last concert of the season. He is looking forward to spending time with his French lover, Julien, (based on the character from The Scarlet and the Black). But before the reunion, Julien is met by a mysterious woman. What she shares with him will challenge even the greatest love.

Arthur had banished the ghosts of his past from his waking hours, had kept them at bay even through the fateful assignment that forced him to recall the life he'd left behind. He had fought to keep hold on the menial but clean existence he'd carved out for himself an ocean away. Until the moment he choked on the surprise slipped into his damn beer...

Ten years on, Brian and Curt still can't get one another out of their heads... all they need to do is get over themselves. Rating will probably change to M.
