Today is Tatsumi birthday, so I write a short birthday fic for him. Happy Birthday, Tatsumi!
Happy Birthday, Tatsumi!

Tatsumi wakes up early to get ready for work. It's his habit to arrive in the office before the other Shinigamis and waits for them to show up. When he gets to the office door, he can hears laughter and noises fill the room. Tatsumi is surprised, the Shinigamis never show up so early. And on top of that, why are they laughing so noisily?
Tatsumi opens the door and sees the office decorate into a colourful party place. There are bright balloons and crisp papers all over the ceiling; candies and cookies are on the table and all the Shinigamis are wearing party hats and lays. Tsuzuki jumps in front of him and shouts, "Happy Birthday, Tatsumi!" And puts a bright colour lay around Tatsumi's neck.
"We got you a cake! We made it ourselves!" Watari says excited as Hisoka brings a giant cake out. Tatsumi grabs the small boy arm and pulls him over to ask him, "You made the cake?"
Hisoka says, "yeah, is there a problem?" Tatsumi takes a breath of relief and smiles to the green eyes boy, "no, no problem. Just want to make sure it's safe to eat."
"Hey! My cooking isn't that bad." Tsuzuki shouts.
"Your cooking I can handle. Watari is the one I'm afraid of actually. Who knows what kind of potion he puts in the cake if he is the one who makes it." Tatsumi says. Watari yells, "I heard that!"
Hisoka lights the candles and Tsuzuki starts singing, "Happy birthday to you…" Watari joins in and sings with purple eyes Shinigami, "…Happy Birthday to you…" Tsuzuki puts his hand on Hisoka and gently shakes the small boy. Hisoka gives in and opens his mouth, "Happy Birthday dear Tatsumi, Happy birthday to you!"
Tatsumi blows the candle and Tsuzuki asks, "not making a wish?"
Tatsumi smiles and says, "I don't need to. I got all I want when you don't 'hate me' anymore, and…" Tatsumi turns to Hisoka and continues, "…when you called me your family, and…" Tatsumi looks at Watari, "…when you stopped inventing those crazy potions of yours."
"Why are you picking on me?! Maybe I should just keep your present." Watari says as he gives a present to Tatsumi. Tatsumi smiles and says to the blonde, "Thanks, I don't mean to pick on you. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. Besides, who said I stop inventing potion?" Watari grins and gives Tatsumi a big hug.
"Happy birthday!" Tsuzuki says and gives Tatsumi a big hug. The purple eyes Shinigami gives Tatsumi a present and says, "I actually saved up money for the present by not eating desserts for days!" Tatsumi smiles, "That makes this a very special gift and probably a very expensive one, too."
Hisoka walks up and gives Tatsumi a present. Tatsumi opens his arms and says to the boy, "it's my birthday. Please?" Hisoka hesitates a little and then gets up to the taller man and gives him a hug. Tsuzuki shouts, "group hug!"
"Hey!" Hisoka shouts as Tsuzuki and Watari come up behind the small boy and wraps their arms around Tatsumi and him. Hisoka is getting squeezed while Tatsumi looses his balance. All the Shinigamis fall to the ground in a big pile. "GET OFF ME!!!" Hisoka shouts. Tsuzuki and Watari get off him and Hisoka gets off Tatsumi, who is lying under him.
The four of them sit on the floor. The always-proper Tatsumi looks at the other three and suddenly breaks into untamed laughter. Tsuzuki and Watari start laughing loudly. Hisoka wants to hold his laughter in, but when he sees the other Shinigamis, he looses control and laughs on top of his lung, too. Tatsumi gets up and says, "You three are a handful, you know that? Come on. Let's eat the cake."
Tsuzuki cheers, "Cake!" and gets up to helps his small partner up. Watari gets up and all the Shinigamis gather around the table to watch Tatsumi cuts the cake. Tatsumi smiles and says to everyone, "thank you, all of you."
