My Brother, My Captain, My Savior
By: RogueCajun
Summary: Just a little Faramir fic I wrote after seeing ROTK for the first time. It's kind of what happened to Faramir, while his father thought he was dead. Hope you all enjoy this!
Disclaimer: I don't own Faramir, Boromir, Pippin, Denethor or anybody else. Sadly. *Sniff Sniff*

The last thing Faramir remembered was being shot, after his disagreement with his father. His horse dragging him back to Minas Tirith. Then everything went black. When next the young Steward opened his eyes, he was in a bright, light filled place. Warm light swept over him.
He could just make out a figure in the light. The figure was far away, at first, but it was drawing closer and closer. Curiosity struck Faramir, Who was this figure in the light? Finally the figure drew close enough for Faramir's blue eyes to see who or what it was.
It was Boromir. One of wonder and awe was Faramir's reaction to this discovery. His brother was dead, was he not? "Boromir?" Faramir managed to choke out when at last he found his voice, the figure nodded. "Am I dead?" Boromir shook his head, streaching out a hand to Faramir, who layed on his back on the ground.
"Look." Boromir commanded pointing to a window, showing the seige of Gondor. 'Was that window there before?' Faramir thought to himself, but did as Boromir commanded.
"The strength of man is failing, Your people need you. Gondor needs you. Father needs you."
"Father cares nothng for me, brother." Faramir replied sadly turning away from the window.
"You are his heir. He cares for you. He loves you. And your people love you. Look out the window again. That is your place. It is not your time to die. Go back, help Aragorn lead our people to victory." Boromir said placing his hand on Faramir's shoulder.
"What is there to go back for? A lifetime of servatude to a father who cares more for strangers than his own son?"
"Trust me, as you did when we were young. Father cares for you, He will show it before the end. As your Captain, I order you to return for Gondor's sake. But as your brother, I beg of you, return, for Gondor, for our people, for our father."
"I trust you Boromir." Faramir replied turning back towards the window.
The Image of a smiling Boromir was what Faramir saw before he felt a burning sensation. He opened his eyes in time to see hs father on a burning pyre. "Faramir?" Was his father worried about him, was he actually crying for him? His father, on fire ran from the room. He looked up and saw Peregrin the hobbit standing over him. The same hobbit that his brother died defending. Faramir would never forget his brother, nor what he had shown him. "I shall remember you always my brother, my captain, my savior."
End.

A/n: So? What do you think? I actually like this. It might not make any sence to anyone else, because it was written at about midnight after I saw ROTK the day it came out. R&R please!
