I'm reposting this because I found a few mistakes that I've corrected.
Hermione's trial
Hello everyone!!! This is my first attempt at a Harry Potter fic. Actually it's my first attempt at any serious fic so I hope you all like it. Please don't flame it. But PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK EVEN IF ITS BAD.. I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me why you like/dislike it and what I can do to in your eyes make it better.
I really wanted to write about a person who although has to overcome many obstacles and is not perfect, but is still a strong heroine. For you Harry fans, although Hermione will be the main character, and Ron perhaps a distant second, Harry will be in this fic and like all of the books and fic he will have to face you-know-who.
I chose to do a fic on hermione for a few reasons. I love Hermione and think she should get more credit, 2 I think there are very few fic out there with her as a main character (not involving Ron.)

Hermione was fuming. It wasn't her fault that the supposed master didn't know that the roots could be used interchangeably, why should she have to spend 4 hours dusting all the potions. She was almost done. Picking up one of the last potions to dust it-
GRANGER! (Snape)
Hermione jumped. Dropping, and of course breaking the potion she had in her hand. Suddently there was smoke everywhere. They were so thick it hurt to keep her eyes opened.
"""Snape""" Stupid girl! She's lucky it wasn't the one next to it or she'd be blind right now.
"""""Hermione"""" stupid smoke! I can't breath (cough cough cough) I'm so glad this is only a transfiguration potion. I can live with blond hair for 24 hours. (cough cough) oh finally I can breath again. (Open eyes) Funny, that potion must have been pretty potent, I still can't see anything. (Waves hands in front o f her to clear smoke) this doesn't make any sense."""

OK that was it!! It's a short chapter. I promise the others will be longer. I know this chapter isn't grammatically perfect, but I'm just writing for fun. If you spot something wrong and want to let me know please do so. Thanks
