Kinomoto Sakura wakes up one night, finding her wand missing. She knows who did it, and knows he's dangerous, but she wouldn't let it just go. So she sets out with her best friend and sun gaurdian, to the huge, vast, unknown China. On the way she meets Li

A/N: I don't really have much to say, but I'm not really good at writing stories, so please review and tell me how I did!

The Missing Wand

Prologue

It was a dark and stormy night.

Sixteen-year-old Sakura Kinomoto could not sleep. She kept having an uneasy feeling that something was wrong, so she got out of bed and lit the candle lying by her bedside. To her shock, her Star Wand was missing! In it's place, she found an envelope addressed to her.

She carefully set the candle on the floor, and picked up the envelope. Upon unsealing it, she wondered who it was that stole her wand. Whoever it was, she was determined to get her wand back.

She quickly unsealed the envelope, took out the letter, unfolded it, scanned it quickly, and thought:

*Damn! Should have known it was that annoying Xing Mo. ARGHHH!!! That's it!! I'm goin' after him!

But still, I should get some sleep first. Better tell Kero.*

"Kero!"Sakura cried.

"Huh! Oh....what?"said the little beast.

"Ummm....just to tell you, my Star Wand's missing." Sakura said calmly.

"WHAAAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!WHO?!?!?!?!HOW?!?!?!?!"

"Calm DOWN!"said Sakura, annoyed. "You'll wake everyone up! And besides, I know who the theft is. It's Xing Mo. You know, that old sorcerer who's been after my Clow Cards? I'm going after him tomorrow."

"But do you know where he is?"

"Ummm....well.... no, but I can sense my Star Wand. And Xing Mo has it."

"Well, then ya better do it now."

"Ohhh...!"Sakura pouted, but obeyed." Fine."

So Sakura closed her eyes concentrated on her wand. Visions from the past flashed back to her of when she was capturing the cards. After a moment she opened her eyes again and sighed.

"So???"asked Kero impatiently.

"Huh?! Oh... um... he's in China."

"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! CHINA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!HOW THE HELL HE GET THERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

"Um.... I don't know, but maybe he teleported using his magic?" Sakura wondered out loud sarcastically.

"Well, get some sleep, Sakura. We'll set off tomorrow."

"OK, good night, Kero."

"Good night, Sakura."

The prologue of my first fan fic is finally finished!!! I never had experience in writing a story with chapters and prologues. And I might even write an epilogue, too! So, you like it? Please send me your comments. Sorry it's a bit much of swearing!
