Yami Rain lay on the silent cold dungeon in ancient Egypt. Her arms were wrapped around a skull. She looked to the barred window and spotted moonlight coming in through the cracks. It was the last day of her life, for she was to be hanged by dawn. She pulled her weak body over to the wall. She took her long weary fingers and scratched another tally mark on the days she had spent in the palace dungeon. She pulled herself back to the wall. "Master. I guess I failed you again. I'm sorry." "But I am so sick of waiting in this rotting junkyard!" she angrily banged the ground. "He's a betrayer. He'll never come back." A voice said echoing. "Who are you?!" she said. A girl with brown eyes peered through the barred doors. "Crime doesn't pay does it?" she said smiling. Rain spit on the ground fumbling to her feet to show disrespect. "What are you doing here Seiyuu?" she said in rage. "I'm here to get you out." She said calmly. She threw a shiny metal object through the window. Rain glanced at the object. "A lock pick?" she picked up the item and picked at the chains around her hands. She stood upright. "Why are you helping me?" "You already know I have betrayed the pharaoh." She played with her short black hair nervously. "I will explain later, get yourself out of the dungeon and follow me." She said grimacing. She exited the palace. Rain ripped the chains off and ran out of the palace. It was cold and windy outside. Seiyuu tugged at her arm. "Over here!" she said frightfully. The guards were returning into the palace. "So will you answer my question now?" Rain said softly. "I am your guardian." She replied. "Everyone had known when you were thirteen, you were in love with Marik.." "Not me. My hikari." Yami Rain said angrily. "Anyway. you took his side and ran off with him. Once I knew you were in love with the boy, I foresaw that you would join his side and that you would marry him in the future and destroy everything the pharaoh owned. I ran to tell the pharaoh but had a second thought. What if you were not going to destroy anything? I held my words and stood to your side. You are my master now. I will die without you." Rain put on a confused face. "Why would I need your help anyway?" she looked away. "I want to help you, and keep you alive. You see, after a few days, I had another dream. I saw that you loved Marik still but you kept your limits. You helped the pharaoh whenever you could and kept all you did away from Marik. He never knew what you were up to." I believe in the second dream, so now I am here to help you." She smiled. "So.you are going to help me." "Everyone knows of my first dream now, and it is dangerous to be outside. Because. they still believe that you have betrayed the pharaoh." Yami Rain tugged at her millenium scarab. "Then we should get out of the palace." She said carefully. "Yes, I agree but it is very dangerous to leave this area." Rain had already left the place and was running towards the horizon. Seiyuu followed. Yami Rain slowed down as the sun began to rise. "We cannot return to the palace for it is too dangerous, the people there will be looking for you." Yami Rain had vanished by the sunlight returning to regular Rain. She had innocent eyes and a pure face. "Seiyuu.." she said weakly. Seiyuu looked at her. "Rain!" she shouted. Tears ran down her face. You helped me escape my execution." She smiled.
