A.N: There really aren't enough Tao Jun romance stories out there. Heck, there aren't enough Tao Jun anything out there! So, I decided to write this, using an OC, a zombie, and a green-haired girl who just wants someone to love.

CHAPTER ONE: WISH UPON A STAR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12:00 a.m.
The young woman sighed. After half an hour, only half an hour, she had gotten lost. Again.
And where the hell was Lee? Tao Jun shivered slightly in the cold. She sat down on a bench and
pulled her knees up to her chest. Too cold. She recalled Lee telling her to 'Put some warm clothes
on before going out,' and she sighed again.
"Excuse me," a deep voice rang out of the darkness, "May I sit here?"
Jun looked up, right into the face of her Jiang-Si.
"Lee!" she exclaimed, "Where the hell have you been? I've been looking all over for you!"
"My apologies, Ms. Jun," Lee Bailong replied, "I was almost spotted, and I had to hide for a
bit to avoid detection."
"Lee..." Jun chided, "You should know better...But anyway, now that you're here, we might as well
get going. What exactly were you going to fetch in the middle of the night, anyway?"
"...nothing," the zombie replied, "Now let's be on our way, shall we?"
Jun started to nod, but something caught her eye. "Lee, you go ahead, I'll catch up."
"If you say so..." Lee replied awkwardly. The Jiang-Si walked out of the park. Jun watched him until
he faded into the darkness. Then, she turned to the light she had seen and quietly headed over to it.
"A broken piece of glass," Jun said to herself, "That's all it is..." She sat down and stared at the glass.
It was stuck in the ground, pointing straight up. What if...what if...
Jun looked up. Directly above the glass was a star. It was all so silly, but...could it hurt?
"Wishing star..." she muttered, "I wish for someone I could...someone to...someone who would love me."
She felt so silly, sitting there, wishing a hopeless wish to a star. But was it her imagination, or
did the star shine a little? Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Jun stood and turned around, and stared into
a handsome face. Blue eyes, long black hair, skin almost as pale as a Jiang-Si...the young woman was
fascinated. And, it seemed, the stranger was fascinated with her as well. Did her wish come true?
"Who are you?" Jun asked, quietly. The stranger shrugged.
"I don't really know," He answered, "I can't remember."
Jun put on a sad face, but inside, she was bursting. The stranger had to be a wish come true!
"Do you have a place to go?" Jun asked. The stranger shook his head.
Jun felt a drop of water splash on her shoulder.
"You'll be soaked out here," she told him, "You should come home with me. I'll take care of you."
The stranger muttered something Jun couldn't catch.
"What was that?" Jun asked, tilting his head up with her finger.
"I said...that would be nice..." the young man replied. Jun wrapped his arm around her shoulder to
support him, and together they left the park, leaving nothing behind but the broken piece of glass
and the wishing star.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, whatcha think? The OC may seem like a guy who had one too many drinks, but I'll tell this much
about his past: he doesn't drink alcohol. Ever. And, if he did, Tao Jun would be able to tell from
the smell.
