"That hurt Inu Yasha!" Shippo angrily yelled after receiving a blow on the head from the annoyed hanyou. Inu Yasha laughed at Shippo's attempt to hurt him as Shippo bit his arm. Kagome marched fiercely into the hut after hearing Shippo's angry little voice.
"Shippo are you alright?" Kagome sweetly asked the little fox demon. Inu Yasha always got annoyed when Kagome treated Shippo like her son, he got jealous. "Why are you always so nice to the brat anyways?" Inu Yasha curiously asked a tone of jealousy existed in his voice. She gave him an evil stare and told him "You're a jerk Inu Yasha! Shippo lost his parents at such a young age and he needs someone to care for him!" He was now tense and in his last attempt to make Kagome understand his feelings he sadly said "Think about my childhood! I was never accepted because I was a half breed. My childhood was worse then Shippo's ever could be!"
Kagome now felt terrible. "I'm sorry Inu Yasha." She softly whispered.
Inu Yasha angrily said "I don't you to feel sorry for me! Lave me alone!" She stood up and sweetly told him "Make sure that you know this Inu Yasha.You may not have been accepted when you grew up but now, you are surrounded by people that accept you! That includes me!"
Is that supposed to make me feel better Kagome? Kagome walked over to him and threw her arms around the sad hanyou. "I accept you for who you are!" She gently said. I know you do Kagome! Inu Yasha embraced her and whispered "I'm sorry I treat Shippo badly. I don't mean to be mean!" in her ear. She could feel his hot breath against her warm silky skin.
"I believe that Inu Yasha." Kagome honestly said. Inu Yasha broke away from Kagome gently and walked over to Shippo. Even though you are a brat, I want you to have a better childhood then I did! Kagome could tell by the look in his eyes that he wasn't lying when he said that he doesn't mean to be mean by Shippo. His eyes looked like the eyes of the Buddha. Inu Yasha then sweetly asked Shippo "Can we start are relationship over? This time we'll be even closer!"
Shippo smiled and told him "Inu Yasha.to me you're like a father! We act like enemies sometime but I find it fun truthfully. Why should we start our relationship over when we have a great relationship already! Am I right?"
Shippo, I didn't know you thought of me like a father.I had no idea. Inu Yasha then nodded in agreement and gave Shippo a smile. Kagome was so happy to see the two demons not fighting and smiled along with both of them. It was going to be a nice day, Kagome just knew it.
