Draco Malfoy crept up the stairs to Hermione's tiny muggle house, muttering
to himself all the way. "I don't like her, no way! Yes I do.NO! She is a
preppy little muggle girl with nothing else to do but shove her nose up her
book crack. Her wavy hair looks so gorgeous in the sunlight. No, she's a
filthy mudblood."
Malfoy, for the past few summer months, has been torn between his family's hate towards mudblooods, and his passionate desire for Hermione, a girl who attends Hogwarts with him. For the past five years, he has shown his hate towards her in many ways, including taunting her and her friends. Oddly, just this summer, he had actually thought about Hermione in a different way, and was steadily drawn to her. Now, he had to make a choice, his family or his crush. A simple choice, really, but for someone as in love as Draco, it was not. Although, in the end, he chose his family, as dreadful as they sometimes may be.
Trying to get over Hermione was very tough, as hard as he tried, he could not do it. In the end, he decided that he would end it for good. Put Hermione to sleep. Forever.
He tried the door, it was locked. "And I thought muggle people were dumb. Oh well, apparently not smart enough." Taking out his wand, he whispered, "Alohamora."
The door open slightly, he pulled it open, and quietly slipped though the threshold. A couple slow seconds dozed by as Draco waited until he was sure the Granger's were asleep. Then, he slowly crept down the narrow hall, and into the kitchen. The small packet of powder in his left pocket was crinkled, as he took it out and examined the bag to make sure the powder was still inside. Luckily for him, it was. He moved swiftly towards the refrigerator and looked for something in which to put the powder into. There was a clear substance, but the powder might be too visible in it. A bottle of "Gatorade" stood on the same shelf, but in fear that alligators would start crawling out of it, he chose the bottle next to it. It had Tropicana written on it, with an orange and a straw on it. The bottle seemed harmless, so he snatched it, and clumsily dropped it. It landed with a slight thud, although not enough to wake up any of the hard- sleeper Grangers. He quickly picked the container back up and went over to the table to fetch the powder.
Draco punched his fist into the bag and brought out a handful of the power. He quickly sprinkled it inside the orange juice, and then closed the container and put it back in the refrigerator. He tip-toed to the door, slithered out, and raced home.
