Destines intertwined
A warm wind blew sand about the land of Egypt this wind was unfelt by many especially those of the royal palace of Pharaoh Yami. Yami sat in his thrown room he could hear the wind but he could not feel it at all. A guard ran in from the windy outside. Taking off the blanket he had been using to protect himself from the sandstorm "pharaoh yami! Licreta! She's escaped!" the pharaoh rose slowly from his thrown. "What?" the tone of his voice was showing a slight annoyance. "She's escaped sir!" the guard said bowing his head in respect.
Outside in the blowing wind stood a girl with raven black hair and emerald green eyes trudging though the sandstorm.
'Darn why did I pick to escape in the middle of a sand storm' she asked herself covering her eyes from the flying sand. She trudged forward despite the harsh winds and sand scratching her skin she would let no one catch her and take her back she was free. But unable to see in front of her she bumped into someone she l looked up to see who it was. It was a well- wanted tomb robber she had seen his arrest poster many times around the palace.
He looked at her "what are you doing here?" he must have recognized her as the pharaoh's sorceress and mistress.
She stepped back "I have escaped from the palace young tomb robber may I please seek your help in hiding?"
The young man looked at her for a moment he was sure there would be a reward for her safe return. He wondered if he should help the raven-haired girl and then turn her in when a reward was posted or just leave her there to be caught by the palace guards. In the distance the faint sound of the guards voices could be heard.
"Please I beg of you young tomb-robber help me!" she looked him in the eyes. His brown eyes met her green eyes.
"Alright! Come on then" he grabs onto her wrist "and stop calling me young tomb-robber! I have a name and it's Bakura!" He started pulling her away from where they were.
"Bakura.alright and you know my position but do you know my name?" When they finally came to a safe place a small tent on the edge of the town he pushed her in. "actually no I do not know your name" he turned to her. "My name is Licreta" she looked around the tent, very tidy for the temporary- staying place of a tomb-robber. She had expected it to be piled sky high with artifacts but he must have a separate keeping place for those.
She took a seat and shook the sand from her hair "thank you very much Bakura I am eternally in your debt." He looked at her. "What exactly do you mean by that?" she looked up at him straight into his eyes. "I mean in repayment for your help I will serve you in any way I can. I have strong magic that maybe of help to you in your field of work, if you would allow I would like to become your assistant." He turned away looking outside considering this. "Sure why not, you can help me." She bowed her head in respect "thank you very much, your very kind."
