Petals from a Sakura tree
Her body at rest, her soul was free
He lifted his face up to the sky
He promised himself that he wouldn't cry
Gazing at her gravestone often
He would wonder why
Why he couldn't protect her
Why she had to die
He would try to move forward
But is stuck in rewind
As the world passes by him
He is left behind
Day after day
Night after night
He sits at her grave
In his sorrow he would bathe
His pain and depression continued to grow
Until it was so great, it was too much to bear
For his life, he no longer cared
So he made a last wish, on a small stone
To die there, die there alone
As the sun began to rise
It brought a new day
He shed his last tear
And faded away
