"Walking the Tracks. AGAIN" by: Waldo's Still Missing (master_insanoid@yahoo.com)

Chapter One: The Round Up

It had been 2 years since Chris, Gordie, Teddy, and Vern walked 20 miles on the train tracks of Castle Rock to find the dead body of a teenager who had gone missing. It took the boys 3 days on empty stomachs and high hopes to come face to face with the final cycle of life, and frankly, the boys were yearning for that feeling again.
"HEY!" yelled Teddy DuChamp. Vern was sitting under his porch looking very discouraged. "What's up buddy?" asked the now 14-year-old Vern. "Well, me an' Chris have been talking and we decided that all o' us guys should get together and have a 'meeting'." alleged Teddy.
"I dunno'." Vern looked down. "It's been 2 whole years and I still haven't found my pennies!"
"Ah, you're a wuss!" snapped Teddy.
"I am not!" Vern stood up. "If I was a 'wuss' would I have walked 20 miles along train tracks, performed 'The World's Best Train Dodge', or have clawed off 23 and ½ leeches and lived to tell the tale?"
"Good, meet us in the tree house at 7 o' clock sharp!" Teddy stormed off.

Gordie LaChance was lying on his bed, thinking about life, death, and Cheese Whiz®, when a knock at the door interrupted his theory on how the cheese goes into the tube. Gordie rushed out of his room and down the stairs to open the door. To his surprise it was his pal, Chris Chambers.
"How ya' doin', ya' little goober?" asked Chris as he tackled his best friend.
"Oof." Gordon stood up. "What're you here for? I haven't seen you in 3 months?"
"Well, me and the other guys want to have a meeting to talk about some 'issues'." Chris brushed himself off. "You see, we have been thinking about getting back together and going on another adventure."
"You're kidding, right?" Gordie queried.
"No, we really want to get back together!" Chris exclaimed.
"Well, okay, but no more leeches!" Gordie joked.
"Great! Be at the tree house at 7!" Chris shut the door and walked off.
