Author's Note: Hey! This isn't my first official fanfic, but it's my first one under this name. I wrote stories on this site about a year ago or so on the name TiNyTaY12. I erased those stories. My writing has improved over the last year and the stories I wrote that I used to love seem boring and bad to me now. So, I'm starting fresh. Of course, it had to be with Gilmore Girls! So here goes.

Chapter One: Tickles

Rory felt a tickle on the back of her neck. She tried to ignore it, but the tickle was turning into a sort of itch. She put her hand behind her neck and removed the leaf that had fallen from "her" study tree and into the hood of her sweatshirt.

"Something wrong?" James asked.

Rory smiled as she pulled the leaf out from behind her and James pulled her back into his embrace. Lorelai had pressured Rory over and over again to start dating now that she was in college and it finally came to the point where Rory just gave in. She had been against the idea at first, but she now she was happy about it. She and James had hit it off on their first date and were now on their eleventh. They were lying together underneath "Rory's" study tree.

James ran his thumb back and forth across the palm of Rory's hand. It sent cause a slight tickle and sent shivers up her back. He sure knew how to get to a girl.

"I've been thinking a lot about us lately," James said, breaking the silence.

"Me too," Rory replied honestly.

"We've been dating for a few weeks now and I don't know about you, but the times I've ever had have been on those dates."

Rory shook her head in fake agreement. She had a lot of fun with James, but she couldn't honestly say they were the best times of her life. Her times with Jess were classified into that area.

"You think you're ready for a relationship?"

"A relationship? I.I."

"If you're not, I understand."

"No. No. I am. I'm just taken aback that you're bringing it up. Normally I'm the one who brings these types of things up."

James laughed softly. "You're so cute."

"So are you." They kissed.

"Oh give me a break. Right in front of everyone?"

"Paris?" Rory looked up into the sun, shielding her eyes.

"Why, hello, if you wouldn't mind stop publicly displaying affection for a few moments I'd like to inform you that there's going to be a dorm meeting. Someone, although I think we both know who, ripped a googly-eye off the sock puppet I made yesterday. Not only that, but I was taking a nap and someone, I'm not naming names, decided to wake me up by tickling my feet with my own feather! My feather! So I expect you back in the dorm by 8:00 sharp tonight."

Paris stalked off muttering about the cost of googly-eyes and certain people's unappreciation for money.

"I feel so bad for you." James said.

"I accept your sympathy. I really should be going. I have a lunch date with my mom." Rory kissed James on the cheek. "I'll see you later."

Rory happily walked off. She couldn't wait to see her mother's face when she told her she'd found someone who tickled her fancy.
