ChristMiss Eve

Trigun characters are not mine but Teal Green is.
Vash is the only one that knows about Christmas Eve, and spends the holiday alone. So he thought, when he discovers a gift from a secret Santa. Who was his secret Santa and who beside himself know about Christmas was even a bigger question.
The night was colder than ever, the star appeared very visible and clear in crisp, freezing air.
"What a night." The tall blond sighed, admiring the stars from the rooftop " And it's Christmas." He could remember how Rem would surprise him and Knives with puzzling holidays.
~Remising
"Merry Christmas, boys!" Rem shouted merrily. The sudden occasion startled Vash and Knives. "M-merry- what?" Knives found his voice. "Merry Christmas! Seasons Jolly!" Rem smiled and then laughed," its my favorite holiday." "Really, Rem?" Vash smiled. "Yeah." Rem laughed, "Merry Christmas." ~ Vash stared at the fifth moon, "Merry.Christmas. Rem." Vash felt sadness overwhelm him, as tear became to emerge, he tried to drain the feeling with a Christmas song that he remembered. He started to hum the "The 12 days of Christmas"; he remembered Rem used to song it to him. Faintly, he heard footsteps approaching; he stopped singing as the footsteps finally reach to him.
"Hey, Vash" calm voice spoke, "enjoying yourself, I see." "Oh, hey, Teal." Vash spoke flatly, " I am." "Do you ever get tried watching the stars?" She asked as she sat next to him. "No." Vash said, "I love looking at them."
Silence fell between to the two finally Teal spoke, "You sound pretty sad, tonight. Are you missing something?" "Sorta." "Like, what?" "It's a old feeling I miss." "What were you singing just now?" "Eh, it's called "The 12 Days of Christmas"
Teal and Vash focus at the sky, the wind whirled passed them as the sharp, cold air roughly scraped against their skin. The ink-bluish sky glittered with diamonds as some sailed across the sky, Teal, glaring deeply, didn't notice Vash was looking at her for a while. "12 days of Christmas my- dum dum dum duh duh dum." she said then whispered the rest, and stopped. "Hmm, nice tune. Very nice tune." She said as she got up, "Say, Vash. You have a good night." "Wait," Vash said, "Did you just-" "Manipulate what you sang." Teal interrupted, " Like I said, not a bad tune." "Oh, right, Of course. Rem used to sing it." Vash said dreamily. "She sounds like a special person." Teal added. "She is." Vash smiled. "I'm." Teal paused, "I'm just curious, what is 12 Days of Christmas about?" "It's about Christmas, a holiday where family and friends come together for peace and harmony. The pure joy of the spirit, in fact, this is my favorite holiday most of all. "Really?" Teal slightly smiled. "Yeah," Vash smiled genuinely, "Merry Christmas, Teal." Teal looked slightly surprised and then smiled sweetly, "Merry Christmas to you, too.
