A/N - Okay, here's the other Naruto x Highschool of the Dead crossover I wanted to start. I warn you now, it's not that great. I've been suffering from a really, REALLY bad migraine and could barely think. So if the quality of the chapter is lacking, I apologize.

Now, in this story, Naruto is an immortal being. He has lived for thousands of years and seen a loooot of crap. He hasn't let it change him, but there will be moments where he just doesn't give a shit.

As usual, this will be a harem fic. You'll see three members of the harem throughout the chapter. Other than that, I don't know who I'll include. I'm also trying to decide if Takashi should just be with Rei, or if he should get with someone else, or maybe multiple people? I don't know.

Anyways, read on and hopefully you'll enjoy the chapter. Feels kind of rushed to me, but as I said, I've been feeling like crap.

Chapter 1 – Immortal

Tokonosu City. That was the name of the city Naruto Uzumaki had come to live in, and where he went to a high school by the name of Fujimi Academy. This was only a formality and he really didn't see the point in going to school to learn everything he already knew about the world.

You see, Naruto had been alive for thousands of years, ever since the days of the people known as shinobi. He had been through so much in his life, not the least of which was surviving a war, defeating a veritable goddess, a beautiful one at that, and fought the likes of Madara and Obito Uchiha. He had saved princesses, daimyos, damsels in distress. Naruto had pretty much done it all and then some.

At the end of the Fourth Ninja War, he was forced to seal Kaguya Otsutsuki inside of him after she had killed the other members of Team 7. It was the only way left to him if he wanted to stop her. Sadly, once she had been sealed inside of him, she had absorbed Kurama within herself, almost as if to spite Naruto. However, try as she might, Kaguya could not break free of the seal used to contain her, and was left with no choice but to deal with being inside of her new prison. First it was the bloody damn moon, and now it was a teenage boy.

An unforeseen side effect of sealing her within himself was him becoming like her, third eyes, horns, the whole shebang. To make matters worse, or as some saw it, better, Naruto had become something akin to a god. He had become truly immortal with the only way to kill him being to remove his head. Even stabbing him through the heart wouldn't be enough to end his life.

After saving the world, Naruto had been content to simply live out his days as a member of Konoha's shinobi corps. Sadly, this was not to be. The people took one look at the new Naruto and immediately judged him, calling him a monster and even banishing him from the village. By that point, he had just stopped caring.

Naruto had chosen to wander the world, helping people and generally trying to keep the peace between each of the nations. For a time all was well and things remained peaceful, for the most part. However, as was the usual in human history, peace didn't last. The people began to wage war once more and hundreds, perhaps even thousands of people were killed.

Having enough of this, Naruto performed a ritual of sorts and took all of the world's chakra within himself, taking it away from all the people of the Elemental Nations. He was scorned for this and people were naturally pissed off, but he just did. Not. CARE!

Deciding to simply watch and wait, he was disappointed when, after a few hundred years went by, Humans began developing machines and various other forms of technology. This wasn't the problem, however. No, what concerned him was the fact that the Human race decided to create machines that would be used to wage war. AGAIN. Naruto understood the need to evolve and bring in a new age, so he didn't try to stop this from happening. It didn't mean he had to like it, however.

So for millenia, he watched and waited until he would be needed again. The world began to expand and the Elemental Nations soon became known as the island nation of Japan. It was amusing, in a way, that the Elemental Nations became something wholly different with no real knowledge of their history being known to the people of today.

Fast forward to the present and you have Naruto sitting in a classroom with a bunch of hormonal teenagers. You see, as the world developed into what it is now, he decided to use the Transformation Technique to alter his appearance so he looked like a regular 17 year-old. He soon learned, however, that normal teenagers had to go to school to learn about the world through history, mathematics, science, etc. etc. And in a bunch of schools, you had to join a club of some kind.

Deciding it was for the best so he could learn more about what the people of today had come up with and what they viewed as the world's true history, he continued to join schools only to neglect going to college and moving to another city where he'd start over as a 17 year-old once again and study some more. Was it a tad boring? Sure. But he found amusement in it. It kind of helped that he was filthy rich and could buy any home he wanted to.

How did he earn so much money? It was really quite simple. He continued to write book after book after book about a wide variety of things. He wrote mostly what people considered tales of fantasy, but were in all actuality things he had been up to throughout history. Also, he used his insane luck to win big at casinos before changing his appearance and doing it all over again and again and again. Hey, he saw the value in having money, especially if he wanted to keep doing what he was doing!

Sadly, one thing that he never got to experience was the pleasures of the flesh. Naruto had avoided any potential romantic relationships, simply because he knew they would eventually die and he'd be left alone once again. However, he had been studying up on fuinjutsu some more throughout his long life to see if there might be a solution hidden away in there. If not, he could always do as Kaguya suggested and share some of his power with his future lovers.

Now, you might be thinking: why would Kaguya offer to help Naruto in any way? After a few hundred years of being trapped within him, the two of them had taken the time to truly communicate with one another. They had managed to become friends and had even entertained the possibility of a romantic relationship in the future, but only once they were both absolutely certain that is what they wanted. That, and he was concerned she might try to destroy the world again. That wouldn't be any good at all.

Meh, he'd figure it all out later. Right now he decided to think about the here and now. He was currently living in a city known as Tokonosu City. He had enrolled in Fujimi Academy the previous year and had made a few friends, such as a boy by the name of Takashi Komuro. The guy had potential to be great, but he was hesitant to take action and really make something of himself. It was a bit disappointing to see.

Takashi and a girl by the name of Rei Miyamoto had made a promise during their younger years that they'd get married someday and live happily ever after. While Takashi clung to that promise and truly desired to be with her until their dying days, Rei had seemingly forgotten (which wasn't true) and had entered a relationship with Takashi's best friend: Hisashi Igou. From what Naruto understood, this was a HUGE violation of the 'Bro Code', or whatever it was the people of these days called it.

Naruto had also made friends with an overweight young man by the name of Kohta Hirano. While Naruto wished his friend would work out more and look after his health a bit more, he had to admit that Kohta was a cool guy and someone he was proud to know. As with Takashi, the blonde saw a lot of potential in his chubby friend.

Another friend of his was a girl by the name of Saeko Busujima. He knew there was something different about her, but he wouldn't question her on it. She had oftentimes challenged him to a spar in the art of Kendo, but she lost soundly each and every time. When asked why he didn't join the Kendo Club, he simply shrugged and said that he didn't exactly specialize in something like that. In fact, Naruto had yet to join any clubs, even though it was a requirement. He just didn't care though, which irked some of the faculty.

Naruto also realized that a few of the girls throughout the school had developed crushes on him, though he wasn't sure why exactly. One such girl was Miku Yuuki. She had short, orange-hair and was quite the seductress. She had attempted on more than one occasion to seduce him, but Naruto had held fast and simply smiled at her before excusing himself each time, much to her disappointment.

Finally, he was friends with a pair of girls who loved each other dearly: Misuzu Ichijou and Toshimi Niki. They often joked about how they'd have to share Naruto someday because they just couldn't betray each other like that and fight over who would get to be with him.

Today though was different. Naruto had this horrible feeling that everything as he and the others knew it was about to change in a horrible way. He trusted his instincts and expanded his senses throughout the day so far, trying to keep watch on everything. In the process, he had tuned out the Orochimaru wannabe known as Koichi Shido. Seriously, the guy just oozed negative intentions towards everyone that wasn't himself. He was evil and rotten to the core. Naruto just knew he was going to have to put the man down one day soon.

Then…it happened. Naruto's eyes widened and he stood up out of his chair, his senses going haywire. Shortly afterwards, Takashi rushed into the classroom and approached Rei, insisting that they had to go. Naruto tuned all of this out, however and made to leave the classroom. Shido reached out to stop him, only for the blonde to look coldly into his eyes. "Touch me and I'll rip your arm off. I refuse to let your sullied hands lay one single finger on me."

Shido flinched back as if struck, caught completely off guard by Naruto's sudden attitude change. "Be that as it may…"

"People are dying out there, Shido. Something is very, VERY wrong. I can feel it, and based on Takashi's words and behavior just now, something big is going down. I'm going to deal with it." Naruto said before shoving past Shido and leaving the classroom.

When he sensed people following him, he turned to see Kohta and a pink-haired girl by the name of Saya Takagi following after him. Quirking a brow, he asked, "Kohta? Why are you two following me?"

"I've never seen you act like this before man. If people are really dying, then I'd rather stick with you. What about you Takagi-san?" Kohta explained before turning to look at Saya.

"I'm choosing to trust in Naruto-san's instincts. Besides, it's obvious something is wrong, and I'd rather be with someone I know I can trust." Saya explained.

"I see. Then stick close to me. If things get bad, I'm going to fight to keep you and everyone else safe. If that means I have to kill people to do it, then I will. Understood?" Seeing them nod, Naruto turned and made his way to the gym where they stored things like baseball bats and the like. Grabbing one of the metal bats, he gave it a few test swings before looking at Kohta. "Time to get you a weapon too big guy."

Kohta looked at the baseball bat and shook his head. "I…I don't know. I'm not skilled with…"

Naruto flicked him in the nose before motioning for them to follow him again. "Come on. I know what weapon will work best for you. You might like it." he said before leading them to another classroom. When they neared their destination, they witnessed what appeared to be the undead devouring a couple of students and changing them into one of them.

When Saya and Kohta looked about ready to scream, Naruto held up a hand and hissed out, "Quiet! In that room, now. I'll deal with this."

The two of them nodded and hurried into the nearby classroom. Glaring at the undead, Naruto walked up to the nearest one and proceeded to use his strength to knock off one of the zombie's head. Moving around to the remaining zombies, he proceeded to smash their heads, knock them off their bodies, etc. Looking around, he frowned and shook his head. They're everywhere. I need to find Misuzu-chan and Toshimi-chan. They won't be able to handle this.

Walking into the nearby classroom, he looked at Kohta and watched as he prepared a nail gun and gave Saya a whole supplies' worth of nails to hand to him as needed. Looking them in the eyes, he said, "Kohta, I'm trusting you with Takagi-san's protection. She's smart, she'll guide you through this. Work together. I need to find Misuzu-chan and Toshimi-chan. Be safe, okay?"

Kohta nodded and said, "Got it Naruto. Go rescue your friends."

Saya simply sighed and reluctantly nodded her head. "Be safe, Naruto-san. We'll be fine."

"Glad to hear it." Naruto said before he left the classroom and shut the door behind him. Expanding his senses, he soon located his friends and took off in a hurry.

Upon reaching the floor they were on, he saw them catching up to the duo. Seeing two of them nearing Toshimi, Naruto used the Replacement Technique to swap places with her before he began killing the zombies.

Once he had finished, Naruto turned to Mizusu and Toshimi and said, "Girls, follow me please. Stay close."

Before he could react, Misuzu and Toshimi glomped onto him and began to sob. "W-What are those things, Naruto-kun? We're scared."

The blonde frowned and hugged them close. Using his free hand, he gently stroked Misuzu's hair and whispered soothing words to them until they had calmed down enough. "I'm not entirely sure. I get the feeling they're the undead, like you see in movies. Now please, follow me. And stay quiet. I promise I'll protect you."

The girls nodded and began to follow Naruto as he went about systematically destroying each of the undead they came across. The girls were so stunned by everything that they completely forgot to mention what he had done before when he saved Toshimi.

Eventually they stumbled upon Shido leading a group of students, acting the role of their savior. However, when a student begged him for help as he was being swarmed by the zombies, Shido proceeded to kick the student towards them and began to lead the other students away. Seeing this, Naruto scowled and said, "Girls, if we see him again, I want you to know that I'm going to kill him. We cannot let someone like that continue to live if we're to have any hope of saving everybody. He would sooner sacrifice people than risk his own life. If this bothers you and you hate me for it…I'm sorry."

Toshimi frowned as she looked from her crush to her sister figure. Nodding as one, they kissed Naruto's cheeks and said, "Naruto-kun, we trust you. I promise that we will NEVER hate you. If things are really this bad…we'll understand. Do what you have to do. Okay?"

Naruto blushed and scratched at his cheek in embarrassment. "Thanks girls. That means a lot to me." Hearing them both say, "You're welcome." made him chuckle a bit.

Thinking on it for a moment, Naruto decided that their next destination would be the nurse's office. He wanted to be sure that Shizuka Marikawa was safe, and he also realized that they'd likely be in need of medical supplies. However, he also realized that the girls with him would need weapons. With a sigh, he realized that he'd have to reveal one of his abilities. "Girls, I'm going to do something and I need you to not freak out. Okay?"

Looking at him with puzzled expressions on their faces, the girls were soon caught off guard when he set the bat down against the wall. Wondering what he was doing, they were shocked when he created three weapons seemingly out of thin air. He handed Misuzu a spear and he gave Toshimi a pair of kukri. "Use these to protect yourselves. Aim for their heads. I promise I'll explain later, okay?"

As Naruto picked up the bat again, the girls simply nodded, the both of them completely dumbfounded by what had just happened. Still… "We trust you, Naruto-kun. And just in case something happens…just know that we love you very much, okay? If we get through this…"

The blonde sighed and shook his head. "When we get through this, Misuzu-chan. We'll be okay, I promise. And one thing you should know about me is that I NEVER break a promise. Now come. We're going to the nurse's office to check on Shizuka-chan. We'll need medical supplies if we want to survive."

As they neared the nurse's office, they saw a number of zombies breaking through the door before they heard a scream from inside. "Shit." Naruto said before he and the girls went on the attack. He was pleasantly surprised to see Saeko come up and rush into the nurse's office to save Shizuka and put the male student that had been protecting her out of his misery.

Once the zombies had been cleared out, Naruto walked up to Saeko and smirked at her. "Glad to see you're still in one piece, Saeko-chan. Making excellent use of your abilities, I see."

The purple-haired girl smirked back at him before turning her attention to Shizuka. "Miss Shizuka, we need to get moving. Do you have everything you need?"

Shizuka rummaged around for a bit longer, gathering everything she felt they'd be needing. When she had finished, she smiled at the group of teens in her office and said, "We should be good to go now. Let's get to the faculty office. That's where they keep the car keys."

Naruto and the others nodded before leaving the office and making their way towards their next destination. On the way, they heard somebody screaming in fright, begging for somebody to save her. Recognizing the voice as Saya's, Naruto hurried forward and rounded the corner, seeing Saya under attack. Using his superior speed, he appeared behind the zombie and proceeded to smash its head in before working alongside the others to defeat the undead horde.

As they were fighting, Takashi and Rei soon rushed up to the group and helped hold the zombies off. Noticing someone missing, Naruto asked, "Where's Hisashi?"

Rei looked heartbroken and refused to answer him. Takashi sighed and shook his head before saying, "He…he didn't make it. We were attacked by 'Them' and…and he was bitten. I had no choice…"

Naruto frowned deeply and said, "May he rest in peace. I'm sorry for your loss."

It was at this point that Takashi and Rei noticed the weapons Misuzu and Toshimi were holding. Blinking a couple of times, the orange-haired girl asked, "Where'd you get those?"

When the girls looked unsure about how to answer, Naruto sighed and said, "I made them. I'll explain later. Right now we should get inside and try to figure out exactly what's happening here."

The group nodded as they proceeded to enter the faculty office and barricaded the door to try and keep the zombies out. Inside, while Shizuka rifled through the drawers and whatnot in the search for some bus keys, they turned on the news and listened to the report being given. It seemed that everywhere throughout the world, things had erupted into chaos.

As they listened, Naruto frowned deeply and said, "So it's not an isolated incident. Something's causing all of this. What the hell could it be?"

Takashi frowned as well and shook his head. "Who knows? All I know is 'Them' are freaking scary. I still can't believe it, and yet…"

Naruto blinked as he looked at Takashi. "You keep calling the zombies, 'Them'. The heck brought that on?"

Rei decided to answer Naruto's question. "It's what Hisashi-kun called them. It just kind of stuck."

"Uh-huh." Naruto said. "Well, if it's all the same to you, I'm going to just call them zombies."

Deciding that they couldn't wait for an explanation any longer, Misuzu stepped up to Naruto and asked, "Naruto-kun? Can you please explain those strange powers you used before?"

Naruto sighed and looked around at everyone in the room. After a time, he said, "Promise me that you won't freak out, no matter what you see. Please?"

Saya frowned and asked, "What could be so bad that you're this afraid to show us the truth?" Seeing his serious look, the pink-haired genius sighed and said, "Fine, I promise. Now are you going to show us?"

The blonde sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Sure. There's no point in hiding what I really am any longer if the world's gone to hell like this. It's time I stepped into the affairs of the world again. It's been way too long since I got involved in a conflict like this." And with that, he undid his transformation and revealed to them what he really looked like.

Naruto now had long, flowing white hair that stretched about halfway down his back. It was no longer spiky. Instead, it looked smooth to the touch. He had three eyes, two of them clear white with no pupils and the one on his forehead was purple with ripple patterns in it. Atop his head were two small horns. The white-haired god was dressed in a black shirt and dark pants that hugged his form nicely. He also had a black cloak with red edges with the kanji for Toad on the back covering his form. On his feet, he wore the ninja sandals he was so fond of back in the days of the shinobi.

Handing his bat to Takashi, Naruto held out his hand and summoned his staff to his hand. Holding it upright and tapping it on the floor a few times, he smirked at them and said, "This is the real me. I'm no longer a human being. I've evolved into something more."

The others could only stare at their friend dumbfounded. After a while, Misuzu said, "You have horns. And an eye on your forehead. Umm…what's going on? Is this a dream of some kind?"

Takashi frowned as he looked Naruto in the eyes. "Just what are you? What the hell is going on, Naruto? That is your name, right?"

Naruto closed his eyes and nodded his head once in confirmation. "Yes. My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm not sure how old I am anymore. I've been alive for thousands of years. I was human, once upon a time. But…I became an immortal and something akin to a god in human form. And before you say it, no, I do not consider myself a god. I'm not that egotistical. I'm from a time before all these huge cities, all the technology you use nowadays, and more. I'm what is known as a shinobi from the days of the Hidden Villages. Konohagakure was once my home. You can't even find remnants of it anymore, sadly."

Sighing softly, Naruto opened all three of his eyes and looked around at everyone to gauge their reactions. "The powers you've seen me use? Those are the abilities of a shinobi, though some I only gained after becoming what you see now. I guess in simple, modern terminology, I'm what you'd call a super soldier with very unique powers."

Frowning, Naruto shook his head, deciding against telling them everything just yet. "Before any of you ask…I've never had a girlfriend. Never married. Never had any children. I'm still a virgin. It's a choice I made." he said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Shizuka blinked and asked, "Umm, if you're that old, why do you look like a teenager?"

Chuckling softly, Naruto looked into Shizuka's eyes and said, "When I became like this, I was 17 years-old. It happened on the day of my birthday. Of course, I can use a true transformation to become anything I want to be."

Takashi frowned deeply and asked, "If you're so powerful, why haven't you stepped in and prevented wars? Prevented something like this from ever happening? Couldn't you have done something sooner than this?"

Naruto frowned and looked seriously into Takashi's eyes. "I've stepped in before to end wars. But humanity needed to be given the chance to evolve and become what they are today. I could not and would not step in to stop every war from happening. As for what's happening in the world now? I'm not a mind reader. Nor am I omnipotent. I could not foresee something like this happening. I could only act in the moment and deal with whatever comes our way."

Kohta looked into his eyes and asked, "How exactly did you make those weapons? And could you make something like a gun with your powers?"

Naruto smiled at his friend and said, "It's an ability of mine called Will Materialization. Using this ability, I can create a number of things, but I usually use it to create weapons or useful items. And I'm not too knowledgeable about guns, so I doubt I could make anything you could find useful, Kohta. Sorry."

Kohta simply smiled and shook his head. "It's fine. I was just curious."

"What's with your eyes? And the horns?" Rei questioned as she looked into his third eye curiously.

"I'll…explain that at a later time when I feel more comfortable revealing such information. Just know that there's a reason I look like this. And my eyes each have unique powers to them, but that will have to wait until a later time." Naruto said, sounding genuinely apologetic.

"How are we supposed to trust you if you've been lying to us all this time? You're still trying to hide things from us! You…!" Takashi shouted, clearly upset. However, he was interrupted when Toshimi slapped him. "W-What?"

Misuzu glared at him and said, "I'm sure Naruto-kun had his reasons! It can't be easy for him to reveal all of this to us! I mean, if you were in his shoes, how would you go about revealing that you're a veritable god that's lived for a long, LONG time? I trust him. Naruto-kun's been so kind to us and he's saved our lives. Besides that, our feelings for him won't change because of this." Looking at Naruto, she blushed a bit and said, "I meant what I said before. To-chan and I love you. We want to be with you…if you'll let us."

Naruto blinked a couple of times in shock before a deep blush spread across his face. "I-I see. Are you sure that's what you want? I could potentially make you both like me if you wanted to be with me…but you two should be absolutely sure that's what you want. Because you might decide later…"

Before the jinchuriki could say anymore, Toshimi walked up to him and pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss. Eyes widening in shock, Naruto soon found himself returning her kiss. When they parted, Misuzu took the chance to give him a kiss as well. "We love you sweetheart. We want to be happy with you. Is that so wrong?"

Naruto blushed worse and found it very hard to say anything. He didn't have to, however, as Saya spoke up with a question. "Just what are you thinking? Do you really intend to be in a polyamorous relationship with him? You do realize that's frowned upon, don't you?"

Shizuka spoke up at this point with a smile on her face. "I don't think anything about our current situation is normal. If things continue as they are, there might be a need for polyamorous relationships like that. I think it's kind of sweet in a way."

As much as Saya wanted to refute that point, she found herself unable to. Sighing heavily, she shook her head and asked, "Did you find the keys yet or not?"

Shizuka blinked for a moment and asked, "What keys? What were we doing here again?"

Saya wanted to scream in frustration, but she knew that would only attract 'Them' to their location. So she decided to explain the situation to Shizuka one more time. "Shizuka-san, we were looking for keys so we could take one of the school buses out of here. Remember?"

"Ohhh. Well why didn't you just say so? I have them right here." the busty blonde said as she held up the keys.

Groaning in frustration, the pink-haired girl facepalmed and said, "Let's just get going. I'm getting a headache from all this stress. And Naruto-san…" Seeing she had his attention, Saya said, "I expect you to tell us everything sooner or later. Do you understand me?"

Naruto quirked a brow at her and chuckled. "You're kind of bossy. Reminds me of another pink-haired girl I knew in the past. I doubt you would have liked her very much though."

"I'm sure." Saya muttered. "Let's go everybody."

And with that, the group left the faculty office and proceeded downstairs to the first floor entrance. Looking around, they saw a number of 'Them' wandering around, almost as if they were in a daze. "How are we supposed to get out of here? There's a ton of them." Misuzu questioned quietly.

Saya looked her in the eyes before tapping the side of her head. "The zombies are blind and they can't feel anything either. They react to sound. Theoretically, we should be able to just walk on by them without being attacked."

Naruto nodded and created a rock in his hand. Throwing it hard at some nearby lockers, he watched as 'Them' reacted to the sound and walked towards it, leaving the path to the doors open. "Let's go." he whispered before he began leading the way.

Sadly, one member of their group tripped over something and let out a yelp as they almost fell on their face, only for Naruto to catch them. Seeing who it was and where his hand was located, Naruto blushed and released her. "Sorry Misuzu-chan." he said before he turned to see 'Them' clambering towards them. "Run." he commanded.

As they exited the school, they saw that almost the entire area was swarmed with 'Them'. Scowling at this, Naruto gripped his staff tightly and tapped it on the ground once, watching as chains burst forth from the ground and forced the zombies to their knees. "Go. Now!" Naruto commanded as he focused on keeping the zombies pinned.

The group stared stunned for a moment before they nodded in understanding and began rushing off towards the nearest bus. Upon reaching it, they piled in and waited for their friend to rejoin them.

Releasing 'Them', Naruto began walking past the zombies, making sure to take the heads off of the ones he passed by. When he reached the bus, he heard somebody calling out at them to wait, drawing the attention of 'Them'. Turning to see who it was, Naruto scowled at seeing Koichi Shido leading a bunch of students their way. He would've simply left them to die, but he saw Miku Yuuki amongst the bunch and scowled. "Dammit." he muttered before he went about slaughtering 'Them', giving Shido's group the opportunity to catch up and enter the bus.

Once they were all on the bus, Naruto entered as well and glared at Shido hatefully. "Mr. Shido, I suggest you get off the bus. I will not tolerate your presence. You'll poison the minds of the students and try to spin things in such a way that you'll be named leader of our group. I saw what you did. You murdered that poor student, all to save your own life. I will not let you corrupt these poor people."

Shido scowled as he turned to look Naruto in the eyes. Getting a good look at the white-haired god, he scoffed and asked, "And just who the hell are you? More importantly, what the hell are you? You're some kind of freak of nature! If anyone should get off this bus, it would be you."

Naruto simply smirked and transformed into the form everyone was familiar with. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki. And I do believe I've warned you, Mr. Shido. If you don't get off this bus right now, I'll kill you. You're as corrupt a person as they come. You're evil and you remind me of a certain snake from way back when. I know what you're capable of, and I will not have it. So if you want to live, you have one of two options. A) You can get off the bus and try to make your way on your own. Or B) you can stay on the bus and keep your mouth shut like a good little puppet. Which will it be?"

"Of course I'm staying on the bus you insignificant little whelp! Besides, you wouldn't kill me. These things are fair game, but I'm a fellow human being. That would be murder and you can and will be punished for so much as trying it. Besides, these people need a proper leader to guide them and ensure they can survive. Who better than yours truly?" Shido questioned, a sinister grin on his face.

"Mm-hmm. I suppose those are fair points. Very well then." Naruto said with his eyes closed, a small, almost unnoticeable smirk on his face.

"I'm glad we could come to an understanding Uzumaki-kun. Now, be a dear and get off my bus, would you? Your mere presence is nauseating." Shido commanded.

Naruto chuckled darkly before vanishing. As Shido blinked and began to look around for the god, he was caught off guard when he felt something stab him. "Gurk! Gah! W-What…?" he questioned as he looked down to see a strange metal tool embedded in his chest.

"You see, I warned you Shido-teme. I don't care about the consequences. I make it my goal to rid this world of vermin like you. You'll murder people for your own sick amusement. You'll corrupt innocents in your quest to create your own version of a utopia. And personally, I refuse to let people like Miku-chan, Misuzu-chan, Toshimi-chan, and the others fall victim to your evil ways. Now get. Off. MY. BUS!" Naruto exclaimed before dragging Shido to the front of the bus where he proceeded to brutally stab the man many more times before throwing him off of the bus to land amongst the undead. Naruto watched with a sadistic smirk on his face as Shido was eaten alive and turned into one of 'Them'. Just for good measure, he threw the kunai he had been using and pierced Shido's brain, watching as his body collapsed, never to rise again. "And stay gone."

When he turned back to the others, he saw mostly shock and horror. However, he saw Saeko blushing fiercely and rubbing her thighs together as she looked him up and down in appreciation. Blinking a couple of times in confusion, he decided to brush that thought off and smiled sweetly at the others on the bus. "You have nothing to worry about. I won't hurt any of you unless you try something that puts people in danger in some way. Shido was a threat that needed to be neutralized. But…if you're scared of me and don't want me around, then we'll part ways soon."

As Naruto went to sit down beside Kohta, he was suddenly attacked by a punk named Tsunoda. Reaching up, Naruto easily blocked all of the aggressive teenager's punches before finally slamming his palm upwards into Tsunoda's face, breaking his nose in the process. "And your problem with me is…?"

Tsunoda cried from the pain as he glared at Naruto. "You murdered our savior! Shido kept us safe! He saved our lives! You're a damn monster. A freak of nature! Nobody wants you here freak, so leave!"

"Uh-huh. And how do the rest of you feel about me?" Naruto asked as he looked around at everyone on the bus.

At this point, Miku walked up to him and looked him in the eyes. "Naruto-kun? You…seem different from usual. Is everything okay?" she asked with genuine concern.

Naruto sighed and nodded. "I'm okay. I'm still me, Miku-chan. I would never hurt you or the others. You have my word on that. I…didn't want Shido poisoning your mind and making you do things you wouldn't normally do. You deserve better than that. As for what I did to him…I'll be honest with you and everyone else here." Looking around at everyone, he said, "I have killed before. But! I do not take pleasure in the act of taking another's life. I do what needs to be done and that's it. If you don't want me here…I'll leave as soon as we're out of here and we find someplace less crowded. I won't fight you on that. Just know I did what I had to and that's it."

When he looked back down into the orange-haired girl's eyes, he was caught off guard when she suddenly kissed him passionately on the lips. She even went farther and practically forced her tongue into his mouth as she deepened the kiss. When she pulled back moments later, she whispered in his ear, "I thought you were sexy as hell. I hope you know that where you go, I go. I'm not leaving your side again."

Naruto was a blushing mess as he tried to come to terms with what was happening. Chuckling dryly, he turned to Misuzu and Toshimi to see them glaring daggers at Miku. With a sigh, he scratched the back of his head and said, "Well…this is something."

Tsunoda scowled at this and went to take another swing at Naruto, only for Takashi to punch him squarely in the face, eliciting another horrible scream from the punk as his broken nose was harmed even further. Blinking at this, Naruto looked at Takashi and asked, "Why?"

The black-haired teen looked at Naruto and said, "Because I would've done the same thing. Shido was scum and deserved what he got for everything he's put people through. I agree with you that he would've pulled something sooner or later and caused a rift to appear between our group. And…I'd rather side with you than with a jerk like this guy."

"Well thanks, Takashi. I appreciate it." Naruto said before he looked at the other students Shido had brought on board. "But I get the feeling they're not going to enjoy having me around. So I might have to leave, after all."

Saya narrowed her eyes and asked, "Who cares about them? You're strong, you're smart, and it's only wise to stick around you, Naruto Uzumaki. You're capable of keeping everyone safe. We need someone like you."

Kohta smirked at her and said, "You just want to know more about him and what makes him tick. Curiosity killed the cat, you know."

Saya grabbed him by the nose and twisted, causing Kohta to whimper and beg her to stop. "Curious I may be, but I'm not interested in him like that. We've barely even talked before today."

Naruto chuckled softly before he turned his attention to Shizuka. "I'll take care of the front gate. You just focus on getting everyone out of here." he said before leaving the bus. Revealing his true form again, he summoned his staff to his hand and proceeded to kill 'Them' as he made his way to the gate.

Upon reaching it, Naruto finished off a few more of 'Them' before focusing his chakra to his arm and fist. "Yeah, this is going to shock the hell out of them." he said with a chuckle before he punched the iron gate and sent it flying into the buildings across the street. When Shizuka drove by with the bus doors open, he hopped inside and grinned at her while she quickly shut the door and sped off of the school grounds.

Taking a seat beside Kohta, Naruto closed his eyes and began to think over their current situation. Could this be a virus of some kind? It would make a strange kind of sense, considering this is happening all over the world. It's spread far too fast though, like a damn plague. Could somebody have created 'Them'? Dammit. Too many questions and not enough answers! If only there were some clues of some kind, I might be able to figure it out. Chemical weaponry? Doubt it. Manufactured virus? Possibly. Why would somebody do this, however? I don't get it. None of this makes any sense.

So many questions and zero answers. Their journey was only just beginning and they had a long way to go before they could see the light at the end of the tunnel. For now, he'd focus on the here and now and try to keep his new loved ones safe from harm. It was the best he could do for he moment. Glancing at Misuzu, Toshimi, and Miku, he let a small smile grace his face and thought, Nobody will ever harm you three. I swear I'll keep you safe.

Anywho, I actually know what I want to work on next! I know, that's unusual. But yeah, I'm gonna work on Who I Am next. Been a little while since I updated it, and I'm eager to write the next chapter of that story. Should be fun! lol.
