A/N - Okay, I know, I know. I should focus on the fics I already have. But this idea popped into my head and I couldn't resist writing it. It just stuck with me and I had to get it out of the way. lol.

Anyways, as you can see, this is a Naruto x Sekirei crossover, but I don't know if this premise has ever been done before. I liked the idea of Naruto & Yukari meeting in a rather interesting way, and I liked the idea of her assuming him to be a Sekirei thanks to his unique powers. Sooo, here's the result of my little plot bunny!

Wait! One more thing I should mention! I've taken certain liberties with this story and changed a LOT of things around. You'll see what I mean when you get to reading it, trust me. A LOT is different, so I hope you enjoy it regardless. Now you can read! lol

Chapter 1 – What the hell is a Sekirei?!

Naruto groaned as he pushed himself off of the hard ground. Everywhere around him looked like a damn war zone, which wouldn't be too far off the mark, considering what he had just been through. However, he found it strange that there were buildings taller than anything he had ever seen before. Some were bigger than even the mightiest of toad summons! He was currently kneeling in a crater that had obviously formed from his impact with the ground.

Looking around, he realized that the reason everything looked so messed up in the immediate vicinity was likely due to the gravitational warp field that had appeared and spat him out like he was a piece of filth. The buildings had small chunks taken out of them, the ground was scarred and torn in places, and sparks kept flickering in the air around him. All-in-all, it was quite the terrible sight.

Standing up, Naruto brushed himself off and assessed his surroundings. This is sooo not anywhere in the Elemental Nations. Okay, think Naruto. What the hell happened that led to this?

Flashback

Naruto and the other members of Team 7 had been fighting valiantly against the goddess-like being known as Kaguya Otsutsuki for what felt like ages now. They had used damn near every trick in the book in an effort to stop her, but she was just too damn powerful! Together, they had realized that the only likely way to put a stop to this bitch, pardon the French, was to seal her away again. However, they realized it wouldn't be easy.

Things had been going fairly well. They had managed to distract her and were getting close to deal the finishing blow in an effort to seal her away again…when Sasuke pulled a stunt that wasn't entirely unexpected. After all, the damned Uchiha was an asshole through and through and he was definitely determined to get rid of Naruto in any way that he could if it meant he could do as he pleased with the Elemental Nations without his old 'friend' interfering with him.

Right as they connected their hands with Kaguya's form and began the sealing process, Sasuke, figuring he could handle the rest on his own, used his free hand to perform a series of one-handed seals and proceeded to hit Naruto with an improvised lightning technique, causing him to scream out in pain from the voltage going through his system. Naruto had released Kaguya and stumbled back before he felt a gravitational pull of sorts tugging at him and warping his surroundings.

Glancing over his shoulder, he saw that not only was the area warping around him, but there was a large sphere that had a gravitational pull towards it. It was black, sparks were coming off of it, and he could tell immediately that this was the result of Sasuke's and Kaguya's techniques converging into one to create something truly horrific.

Digging his heels into the ground beneath him, Naruto focused as much chakra as he could to hopefully stay rooted to the ground. However, Naruto wasn't counting on Sasuke to attack him yet again with a ball of fire engulfing him. Screaming out in sheer agony as the fire consumed him, Naruto lost his focus and flew into the dark sphere. As it imploded, creating a terrible shockwave that tore through Kaguya, Sasuke, and the other members of Team 7, Naruto's screams faded until there was nothing left of him in the world of the shinobi.

Flashback End

Clutching at his aching head with one hand, Naruto began to look himself over to take a general assessment of his body's condition. It seemed that his ride through whatever the hell that thing was had at the very least put out the flames that had consumed him. His healing factor had already taken care of his various wounds, but he had to admit he felt pretty exhausted after that trying ordeal. All-in-all though, he felt pretty good, all things considered.

Sadly, he had no idea where he was or if he was even in the same world any longer. Chances are I'm in another dimension. No way to know for sure though… Naruto thought to himself with a heavy sigh escaping him. Guess all I can do is push onwards and do what I can here. If I can find a way back home, I'll do it. But for now…

He was about to start exploring the city he found himself in, but he soon heard a feminine scream and what sounded like a battle taking place a short distance. Hurrying around the corner ahead of him, he couldn't help but frown at the sight before him. Two women, one with long green hair and wearing a rather revealing outfit, and another with short, spiky black hair, were attacking a young boy and his rather attractive friend? Lover? Whatever she was, one of them had taken the girl captive to force the boy to stand down.

Snarling to himself, Naruto focused his chakra, finding that it was a bit hard to do after what he had just been through, and used the Replacement Technique to swap places with the girl that was being held captive. Without a word, he slammed the back of his head against the woman's face, breaking her nose and causing her to scream out in pain.

Turning to face the women, he formed an unstable Rasengan in his hand and smirked at the two women. "If I were you, I'd run now. You don't want to get hit by this, trust me."

The spiky-haired girl glared at Naruto and charged him, which proved to be her undoing. Despite the Rasengan being unstable, he slammed it into the woman's chest and let it explode, sending her flying before she tumbled end over end, eventually coming to a stop, face down on the pavement. When she didn't rise, Naruto frowned and wondered if he had killed her on accident.

The other woman, the one whose nose was now broken, glared at him before she paused, as if losing herself in thought. After a time, she scowled and said, "I can't go back to Higa-sama empty-handed. If that means I have to kill you to get to her, then so be it! Tell me your name and number so I know who I'm about to defeat!"

Naruto blinked in confusion, as he wasn't sure who this 'Higa-sama' was, nor did he understand the part about a supposed 'number'. Shrugging it off, he said, "The name's Naruto Uzumaki. Not sure what kind of number you're expecting though. If you're asking about my age, then I'm 17."

The woman scowled at him and yelled, "I'm not asking about your age you idiot! Bah, forget it! Just die!" And with that, she charged at him with her staff at the ready.

Sighing to himself, Naruto disappeared and reappeared in an insane burst of speed, his fist lodged deep into the woman's chest. "For what it's worth, I'm sorry for this." Naruto said before he finished with his attack, sending her flying until she crashed into a building, cracks forming in the shape of a spider's web. When she collapsed to the ground moments later, unmoving, Naruto realized that she was likely dead as well.

Sighing softly once again, Naruto brushed himself off before turning around to face the girl and her supposed lover(?). However, the moment he turned around, the girl was right up in his face with sparkly eyes and a wide grin on her face. "That was so totally awesome! You were great Naruto!" she exclaimed before she puckered up her lips and moved to kiss him.

Blinking in shock, he blocked her attempt with a hand covering her mouth. "Umm, what exactly do you think you're doing? We just met."

Yukari blinked as she looked into his eyes. "Um, I was going to wing you. You're awesome and you'd make a great addition to my pretty boy harem I want to build!"

"Wing me? Pretty boy? HAREM?! The fuck is going on here?!" Naruto exclaimed in shock as he took a step back.

"Um, yeah. You're a Sekirei, aren't you? Only they have powers like that, though yours seem to be pretty unique. Sooo, I was going to kiss you, giving you your wings, and then we could've gone and kicked that Higa guy's butt and made him beg for mercy for trying what he did!" the girl exclaimed passionately.

Before Naruto could say anything, the boy gently tugged on the girl's sleeve and shook his head at her. "Y-Yukari-sama, Naruto-san is not a Sekirei. He isn't one of us."

Naruto quirked a brow as he looked between the two of them. "Okay, somebody's going to have to explain all of this to me, because I have NO idea what's going on here."

Yukari frowned as she looked between the two of them. "Are you sure Shiina-kun? I mean, absolutely sure? Because his powers are kinda like a Sekirei's, don't you think?"

Shiina nodded in affirmation. "I'm positive. If I had to guess, I'd say Naruto-san's not exactly human either. At least, not like you. Isn't that right, Naruto-san?"

Naruto looked Shiina in the eyes and said, "I'm human, but at the same time, I'm a shinobi. I possess the power to do a lot of things, such as walking up walls, flying, healing people, etc. I assume you're one of these Sekirei people I keep hearing about?"

Yukari smirked and threw an arm around her adorable Shiina-kun. "Hell yeah he is! Shiina-kun's my adorable Sekirei and he's pretty powerful. He's just the first in my desired harem of pretty boys and girls!"

Naruto blinked a couple of times before asking the all important question, "Girls? Earlier you just said pretty boys. Now you're interested in girls too?"

"Hell yeah I am! You should see the size of some of these Sekirei's breasts! I mean, holy crap! I love to just sink my fingers into those fleshy mounds of awesomeness!" At this, Yukari delved into her fantasies and began to giggle like a certain super pervert Naruto once knew.

Feeling a drop of sweat slide down the back of his neck, Naruto looked at Shiina and asked, "Is this normal for her?"

The pretty boy sighed and nodded his head somewhat sadly. "Yes. You get used to it after a while."

"I see." Naruto said as he looked at the clearly crazy girl. "Well, we should probably move somewhere else so we can talk about things. I've got some questions I need answered, and I'm sure you both are wondering about me too. That, and I'm sure once that Higa guy realizes his Sekirei have failed that he'll just send more after you."

Shiina frowned and shook his head. "There's a rule to this game that says the victor has to stay until MBI has come to collect the defeated Sekirei. Something to do with counting who defeated whom."

"Game?" Naruto questioned unsurely. Looking at the deactivated Sekirei, Naruto scowled and shook his head. "I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they were breaking the rules of this so-called 'game' when they attacked you. I want to hear all about this 'game' and what exactly it entails. Now, let's ignore those two and get you two someplace safe. I don't want to be here when this 'MBI' or whoever arrives. They'll likely have questions that I don't want to answer."

Yukari seemed to snap out of her fantasy-induced trance at this point and looked at him uncertainly. "You sure? I don't think Minaka-san will be too happy if we break one of his rules…"

"And I honestly don't care. Just from hearing what little you two have explained to me so far, I have this feeling I'm just going to get pissed off once it's all explained to me. And again, I'd rather not be around when 'MBI' or whoever gets here. I'd rather not end up on the wrong side of an interrogation."

Shiina frowned for a moment before he looked at Yukari and nodded. "He's right, Yukari-sama. We should go."

The girl shrugged and said, "All right. C'mon, I'll show you the way to my brother's place. He's staying at this place called Maison Izumo or something like that. It's in the northern part of Shinto Teito."

Naruto breathed a sigh of relief and nodded his head in thanks. "Thank you. I promise, I'll answer whatever questions I can. I reserve the right to keep certain things to myself, however. But for the most part, I'm an open book. Now, let's get a move on!"

Later – Maison Izumo

Upon seeing the quaint little inn for himself, Naruto couldn't help but smile. Compared to most of the city he had seen so far, this inn was a breath of fresh air for him. It reminded him of his home and made him feel kind of warm inside. However, at the same time, it brought a depressing feeling to the forefront of his mind and caused him to frown sadly. Will I be able to get back home…?

Yukari, seeing how depressed her new companion was, wrapped an arm around him and buried his face in her bosom. "Cheer up you silly boy! C'mon, let's get in there and say hello to Minato and his busty, beautiful Sekirei." She said before she began to giggle pervertedly. "Musubi-chan. I get to enjoy your luscious melons again!"

Shiina and Naruto both sweatdropped at her remark. Looking into the Sekirei's eyes, Naruto sighed and shook his head. "She's like a female Jiraiya."

Tilting his head somewhat cutely, Shiina asked, "Who's Jiraiya?"

Chuckling softly, Naruto shook his head again and said, "I'll tell you later. For now, I want to get inside and learn all I can about this so-called 'game' you're stuck participating in."

Yukari seemed to snap out of her daze at this point and pumped her fist into the air. "Hell yeah! Let's get in there and catch up with Minato and his luscious ladies! Then we can talk all about where you're from, why you can kick so much ass, and whatever else you have in mind." Turning her gaze to Naruto at this point, she looked him up and down and giggled pervertedly to herself once more. "And maybe even feel you up a bit while I'm at it…"

Blushing fiercely, Naruto turned away from Yukari and made his way towards the front door. Note to self: NEVER be alone with her. Might get a little rapey.

Before he could even knock or announce his presence, a beautiful purple-haired woman appeared in the doorway with a kindly smile on her face. "Hello and welcome to Maison Izumo. How may I help you?"

Naruto found himself blushing at the mere sight of her, but quickly managed to snap himself out of his trance. "Erm, hi there. My friends and I heard that her brother, a Minato Sahashi, is staying here. Would it be alright for us to come in and greet him? And…" Leaning in close, Naruto whispered in her ear, "I need you to tell me everything you know about Sekirei and this Minaka fellow. I want to know everything about this 'game' of his and what I can do to help your people."

Miya found herself blushing slightly as she felt this stranger's breath on her ear. Fighting it back down, her eyes widened as she listened to what he said carefully. Looking into his eyes, she saw him smiling at her, almost reassuringly. Slowly, she nodded and said, "Come in. It would seem we have MUCH to talk about."

Yukari blinked a couple of times before she looked at Naruto curiously. "What'd you say to her, Naruto-kun?"

Blinking at the -kun suffix being added to his name, Naruto shrugged it off before following Miya inside. Glancing over his shoulder at Yukari and her Sekirei, he said, "I simply told her that I want to help her fellow Sekirei. Depending on what I hear, I might just have to put a stop to this 'game' of Minaka's. I already have a strong feeling I'm going to need to punish some troublemakers as well."

Shiina simply smiled thankfully at him before he sat down with Yukari on his right side. Yukari, on the other hand, smiled at Naruto as she sat down. "I see. You're a good guy, willing to do that for a race you know nothing about."

Naruto shrugged and sat down on Yukari's other side. "It's kind of what I do." He said with a chuckle. "Saving damsels in distress, punishing evildoers, stuff like that. I've done a LOT throughout my life so far, and I don't see it ending anytime soon."

"I see." Yukari said quietly. "You'll have to tell me all about it sometime. You're just making me more and more curious about you."

After that, silence settled for a time. This changed, however, when Minato entered the room, followed by his four Sekirei: #88 Musubi, #108 Kusano, #2 Matsu, and #9 Tsukiumi. Sitting down around the table, Minato and his Sekirei paid careful attention to Naruto. Each of them could feel something was different about him, but they couldn't place their fingers on what that could be. So instead, Minato turned his attention to his sister and smiled. "It's good to see you Yukari. Who's this?"

Yukari smiled brightly when Kusano glomped onto Shiina and the two of them began to converse. After a moment, she returned her attention to her brother and said, "This is Naruto Uzumaki-kun. He saved me from a couple of Sekirei working for some scumbag called Higa. If it wasn't for him…"

When Yukari went quiet, Naruto placed a gentle hand over hers and gave it a light squeeze to show his support. Afterwards, he turned his gaze to Minato and shook his head. "Before you ask, no, I am not a Sekirei. I don't even know if I'm a potential Ashikabi. I am however a shinobi with unique 'talents', let's say."

Seeing their looks of disbelief, Naruto sighed and held his right hand out, palm up. In a span of a few seconds, a spiraling blue sphere appeared in his hand, growing larger and larger until it was the same size as his head. Afterwards, he dispelled his technique and took a sip of his tea. "That was the Rasengan. Just one of the techniques I have at my disposal. Believe me now?" he questioned with a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

Matsu was the first one to formulate any kind of response. "Sooo, a shinobi huh? Does that mean you're like a professional assassin then?"

Quirking a brow at her, Naruto shrugged and said, "That's one part of the job description, sure. However, I rarely killed anyone. I only killed to protect those precious to me or in self-defense. There's more that goes into being a shinobi than just assassinations, however. Spying, espionage, seduction, and a bunch of other things all wrapped up into one neat little package. I can safely say I've rescued a few princesses in my time, I saved entire countries, I've even been through a war and come out on top. It hasn't been an easy life, but it's mine."

"What did you mean when you said you wanted to help my flock?" Miya questioned, narrowing her eyes at the shinobi. "Just who are you and what are you after?"

Taking another sip of his tea, Naruto closed his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. "Pretty much exactly how it sounds. From what little I've gathered, a madman is making your 'flock', as you call them, battle to the death for his own sick amusement. That's kind of a new one for me, but you can bet I won't let this 'game' of his continue. If need be, I'll take the fight right to him. First though, I need to know absolutely EVERYTHING about Sekirei, Ashikabi, Minaka, MBI, and this wretched game of his. I also need to know who the key 'players' are in this game. I'm assuming this Higa fellow is one of them, and I am willing to bet that there's another besides him I'll need to deal with. People like them likely aren't treating the Sekirei like people. No, they'd much rather ostracize, abuse, and even kill the Sekirei simply because they're 'different'. So I need to know EVERYTHING if I'm going to be of any help."

When Miya looked hesitant to respond, Minato looked between her and Naruto for a moment. "I may not know much, but I'll explain what little I can. Though I think Matsu-chan here would be more helpful than I could be."

Matsu nodded and smiled at Naruto. "If you really want to help, then I'll tell you everything. We should probably start with…"

A while later

Naruto nodded as he hummed in thought. "I see. It would seem I need to deal with Higa Izumi and Hayato Mikogami before I do anything else. I think I'll start with that corrupt business tycoon. He reminds me way too much of a man named Gato, combined with a little bit of Danzo mixed in. And Hayato reminds me of somebody too, though I can't quite put my finger on it right now. Suffice it to say, those two need to be eliminated and their Sekirei freed."

Miya frowned and shook her head. "If you kill them, the Sekirei they have winged will be deactivated. A Sekirei's life is directly linked to that of their Ashikabi, natural winging or not."

Scowling at this, Naruto began to think things over for a while. After a time, he chuckled ruefully. "Heh, I suppose I'll just have to free them first then. I can do this either via the use of seals or by using some of my powers. I just need to recover first, which could take a few days, depending on how I'm feeling. I feel weak after tumbling through that hole in space/time. I don't even know where the hell I am or what time I'm in. Hell, I don't know if I'm even on the same planet or in the same universe."

Frowning, Matsu looked deep into Naruto's eyes and said, "If I can, I'll help you however I can. However, are you really sure you want to kill them? Yes, they're terrible people and they treat we Sekirei as if we're either part of a collection or think we should be destroyed. There's no love in their hearts. Besides that, you can get arrested for murdering them."

Shrugging it off, Naruto closed his eyes again and took another sip of tea. "I will do what I must to protect and save your race. Besides, a shinobi doesn't leave evidence behind. I can get to them no matter where they are or what they do. There would be absolutely no evidence that I was even there. And trust me, there are some people that deserve to die and rot in the deepest pits of Hell. Minaka is one such person while Higa and Hayato are two more. Not only have they broken the rules of this 'game', but Minaka has let them be for his own amusement. They deserve to be punished in the most severe sense of the word."

Minato frowned at this and shook his head. "How can you talk about killing people so casually? It's wrong to take someone's life, let alone multiple people's lives!"

Yukari frowned at her brother and shook her head. "Minato, onii-chan, you have to admit that something needs to be done soon, before anymore Sekirei and/or Ashikabi get hurt. Higa tried to kidnap me and I'm damn sure he would have used me as a hostage to make poor Shiina-kun do what he wanted! I…I…"

Shiina and Naruto both took one of Yukari's hands into their own, giving her reassuring smiles. Looking at Minato, Naruto sighed and shook his head. "I understand how you feel, Minato-san. However, I will do what I must to save the Sekirei and their Ashikabi. If need be, I will stay away from Maison Izumo and all of you if my presence and the fact that I'm willing to take a life bothers you. I'm sure I can find someplace to live for the time being, if needed."

"I'm more bothered by the fact that thou wishes to put an end to the game by thine own machinations. We Sekirei were born for the sole purpose of honorable combat and fighting to see who amongst us is the superior Sekirei." Tsukiumi stated, earning her a glare from a number of the people around the room.

Naruto shook his head and said, "No Tsukiumi-san, that is not why you were born. That is the purpose fed to you by whomever took care of you before. Minaka's a psychotic bastard that insists on treating you and your kin like toys, or pieces in a game of shogi. It's all for his own amusement, and this is further proven by the fact that he allows people like Higa-teme and Hayato-teme to do as they please, regardless of the 'rules' put in place. No, from what I gather, you and your kin came here because you wanted to find your destined ones and help save your species from extinction. I don't know what transpired on your home world or what exactly happened in the time before I arrived here, but I think it's safe to assume that all your people were meant to do was find happiness with a loved one. And based on what I'm seeing, you and your three sisters there have found the one you want to spend the rest of your lives with. Am I right?"

Tsukiumi blushed at this as she tried not to glance at her Ashikabi. Before she could stammer out some kind of response, Musubi leaned against Minato and exclaimed, "Yes! Minato-sama is a wonderful partner. We love him very, very much. Best Ashikabi EVER!"

Naruto chuckled softly and nodded his head. "I'm glad to hear it. Now, Miya-san…" Turning to face her, Naruto sighed and said, "If you want, I will leave and never return here. Just know that I won't stop fighting to free your people, no matter what it takes. All I ask is that you allow Yukari-san to move in here with her Sekirei. I don't trust Higa-teme to leave her alone. After all, he's tried it once, he's bound to keep trying until he realizes he can't get her…or he manages to capture her and hold her hostage to further his own schemes in this 'game'."

Miya hummed in thought for a time before she closed her eyes and nodded a few times. "I won't kick you out of my home, Naruto-san. And I do have a room available for Yukari-chan, but…"

The blonde shinobi chuckled dryly and shook his head. "There's not enough room for me to move in. Understandable. I suppose I can sleep on the roof or something…"

Yukari shook her head and wrapped her arms around one of his, silently enjoying how muscular he was in the process. "No! If there's only one room available, then you'll have to sleep with me! I don't want you catching a cold or something!"

Naruto and the others found themselves blushing at Yukari's proclamation. Miya smiled sweetly as a hanya mask began floating behind her, scaring the various tenants of Maison Izumo. However, she idly noted that Naruto seemed completely unaffected by such a thing. Ignoring that for the time being, she looked at Yukari and said, "I will not permit any illicit activities within the walls of my home. Is that understood?"

Yukari shivered and tried to stammer out a response, but nothing would come out. She was about to shrink into herself, but Naruto placed a hand upon her shoulder and allowed a warm aura to surround her. Blinking a few times, she snuggled up against him and blushed quite a bit at the warm feeling he was giving her.

Naruto narrowed his eyes on Miya and unleashed a small amount of his power, destroying her hanya mask and freeing everyone from the effects of such a thing. "Do try not to scare everyone Miya-san. Yukari-san didn't mean anything naughty by what she said. Her intentions were pure, but more than that, I get the feeling she feels safe with me nearby. Would you really deny her the comforting feeling of having somebody she trusts nearby? Yes, she and Shiina will sleep in the same room, but it might help if she had me nearby as well. But, if you insist on being a frigid bitch, I can always leave and ignore the plight of your people."

Miya recoiled as if struck by him. However, she soon regained her composure and glared fiercely at him. "How dare you?! I…!"

Naruto narrowed his eyes at her and unleashed a small bit of his killing intent at her, making her shut up. "I have nothing against you, Miya-san. However, whereas you have failed to protect your people, I will put a stop to this wretched game and I will kill those who mean them harm. Though, by the look in your eyes, I should just leave. It's obvious I am no longer welcome here. I'll see you later Yukari-san." He said as he stood up and let up on his killing intent.

Shooting one last glance at Miya, he sighed and shook his head. Instead of saying anything to her, he turned his gaze to Minato and offered him a polite smile. "Take care of yourself and your Sekirei, Minato-san. And do be careful." And with that, he left the inn and began making his way towards the street so he could try and find someplace to sleep for the night.

Before Naruto could even reach the street, he felt somebody glomp onto him and wrap their arms around his midsection. Sighing softly, he reached up and gently patted the person's hands. "You might want to let me go, Yukari-san."

Yukari shook her head, rubbing against his back as she did. "No! I don't want you to leave, Naruto-kun! Please stay!"

Naruto sighed again and gently pried her off of him. Turning around, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, causing her to blush fiercely. "Sorry, Yukari-san. I really don't think Miya-san would like me to stay."

Getting her blush under control, the perverted female grabbed one of his hands and tried to tug him along to follow her back inside, but he wouldn't budge. So instead, she opted to pout up at him and use the dreaded Puppy Dog Eyes technique on him. "Not gonna work Yukari-san." He said before giving her a salute and vanishing from her sight.

Once he was gone, Yukari could feel tears trickling down her cheeks. Turning back around to face Miya, who was standing in the doorway, she narrowed her eyes and shouted, "This is your fault! He doesn't know anything about this city and you chased him away! What if he gets hurt or lost or something else?!"

Miya scowled for a moment before she shook her head and sighed. Without a word, she turned and walked back into her home. Yukari scowled at this, but rather than try to chase after Naruto, she walked back into the inn and sat down opposite of Minato. "Onii-chan? Do you think one of your Sekirei has some way of tracking him? I want to be sure that he stays safe…"

Before Minato could say anything, Matsu spoke up. "I could try, but if he's really a shinobi as he said, then I doubt I'll have any luck of tracking him. Shinobi are legendary for a variety of reasons, but one of their greatest abilities is their stealth. If he doesn't want to be found, I doubt we can find him. And before you go trying to run off in search of him, try to remember that Higa is still out there and he likely hasn't given up on capturing you, Yuka-tan."

Yukari sighed and slumped over, an aura of depression hanging over her. Shiina reached over and gently grasped her hand with his. "Yukari-sama, I'm sure he'll be fine. I…don't know how he'll get anything to eat, or find a warm place to sleep…but I think he'll be okay."

The perverted Ashikabi sighed and shook her head. "That's kind of why I'm so worried about him. He has no money and therefore has nowhere to stay, and he won't be able to get any food either. I doubt he'll even have anything to drink either! Miya-san, why couldn't you just let him stay here?"

Miya scowled and shook her head. "He was rude and he insulted me and my species as a whole. There is no place in my inn for someone like that."

Matsu frowned at Miya and shook her head in disappointment. "The only one he insulted was you, Miya-tan. And that was only after you insinuated that Yuka-tan and Naru-tan would break your rules should they sleep in the same room. From what I gathered, he genuinely wants to help us. If he comes back, maybe you should apologize to him?"

Miya glared at Matsu for a moment and allowed numerous Hanya masks to manifest themselves behind her, scaring everyone in the room into submission. "I will not apologize to such a creature as him. He is not welcome in my home. Is that understood?"

Everyone slowly nodded in understanding, too scared to speak a word. However, when Miya let up on the terror she was inflicting upon them, Yukari stood up, walked up to her, and slapped Miya as hard as she could in the face. Afterwards, she walked off to find the room she and Shiina would be staying in for the immediate future. Be safe Naruto-kun.

Miya stood there shocked beyond belief at what had just happened. Before she could say anything, however, Matsu stood up and stared hard at her. "You must admit, Miya-tan, you had that coming. I'm going to go back to my room and try to find him."

All the purple-haired landlady could do was stand there in shock as she rubbed her cheek absentmindedly. She didn't even register the fact that Minato and his Sekirei, as well as Shiina, vacated the room. Miya only snapped out of it when Uzume and Homura entered the room, looking at her quizzically, wondering what happened to put her in such a state.

"Miya? What's the matter?" Homura questioned worriedly.

Miya scowled and shook her head. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."

Naruto

The blonde shinobi frowned as he looked over the city of Shinto Teito from his perch high atop the rooftop of a rather large building. I swear, these people have made these buildings way too damn big. He thought to him in irritation. Oh well. I need to figure out what to do about my money problem. Yukari-chan could've helped, but Miya was being a bitch. So that bridge has been burnt.

As he sighed softly, Naruto felt a seriously bad feeling down below via his Negative Emotion sensing ability. Frowning, he quickly made his way down below, only to see a man trying to force himself on what was clearly a Sekirei, judging on the giant hammer she was lugging around. Scowling at this, Naruto acted as soon as the man was going in for a kiss.

When Naruto appeared in the exact spot the Sekirei had been merely seconds ago via the use of a well-timed Replacement Technique, he raised a hand and gripped the man's neck tightly. "I don't appreciate people like you trying to force themselves on innocent ladies like that. Do begone and try not to harm anyone else, because there will be consequences."

Blinking in shock, the man growled and pulled out his switchblade, aiming it at the blonde man's neck. However, Naruto grabbed the man's wrist and snapped it, eliciting a terrible scream from the man. Afterwards, Naruto sighed as he gripped the man by the sides of his head before he made a quick motion and snapped the man's neck before letting him drop to the ground dead. "I hate scumbags like that." He said with a sigh.

When he turned around to face the Sekirei he had just saved, he saw her blushing a deep shade of red. What concerned him far more however was the fact that she was breathing heavily and she looked like she might be really sick. Stepping up to her, he reached out a hand to feel her forehead, only for her to mutter, "My Ashikabi…"

Blinking in confusion, Naruto was about to say something before she grabbed both sides of his face and kissed him passionately on the lips, catching him completely off guard. When her wings spread out and she finally separated from him, she said, "The hammer of my pledge! Shatter the enemy of my Ashikabi!"

Once more blinking in confusion, Naruto was about to say something before he felt a foreign connection bubbling up inside of him. Frowning slightly, he focused on the strange feeling and realized that he was now bound to this Sekirei whose name he didn't even know yet. He could feel a strange sense of ease and support coming from the connection and found himself smiling as he could feel her love for him.

Looking into the woman's eyes, Naruto decided to get the introductions out of the way. "Um, hiya? My name's Naruto Uzumaki. What's yours?"

The woman blushed prettily at this and said, "I am #84, Yashima. I'm so glad I found you, my Ashikabi-sama."

Naruto smiled at her and brought her in for another chaste kiss. "I'm glad to meet you. I'm glad I could save you from that man. Though, I can't help but wonder how I could possibly be an Ashikabi. I don't even know if I'm from this world or even this dimension. Heck, for all I know, I've been thrust through time and space to land somewhere completely foreign to me. Put bluntly, I'm beyond confused." He said with a chuckle.

Yashima blinked a couple of times in confusion. "Ashikabi-sama?"

Naruto sighed and shook his head. "Never mind. It's not important. I am curious though, do you have any money? 'Cause I've got nothing. I was going to have to sleep outside somewhere because I have no home." He said, chuckling nervously afterwards.

#84 frowned before she wrapped her arms around her Ashikabi and nuzzled against his chest. "Don't worry. I have an MBI card. We can use that to purchase a room somewhere and some food. My wonderful Ashikabi-sama."

Sighing again, Naruto held Yashima at arm's length and smiled kindly at her. "You don't need to keep calling me that. Call me Naruto, or Naruto-kun if you want. You don't have to keep calling me -sama."

Yashima nodded and smiled sweetly at him. "Very well Naruto-sama. We should go find a room somewhere for the night. And maybe get some food? I haven't had anything to eat since being released…"

Naruto rubbed the back of his head and offered her a slight smile. "Yeah, I know how you feel. Let's go Yashima-chan." He said before he took her hand in his and began walking out of the alley and in search of someplace to stay. So many questions and not enough answers. This is going to be a very interesting experience, I can tell that now. Oh well, might as well enjoy myself while I can, I suppose.

A/N - And that's the chapter! Shorter than my usual chapters, but I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. I've been having a rather hard time trying to write anything, and part of the reason for that is the constant migraines. They're getting to the point where they are absolutely crippling and I just don't feel very well because of them. On top of that, one of my cats absolutely refuses to let me sleep, so I'm lacking the proper amount of rest that I should be getting. So, all in all, I haven't been doing too well. .

Anyways, despite being a short chapter, I think it turned out rather well. A lot of stuff happened and I think it's pretty interesting so far. I'll let you all make your own judgments about it though.
