Chapter 1: Found

James Potter and Lily Potter were walking hand in hand across the city while conversing when they heard a baby crying. James and Lilly exchanged looks as they approached the sound, which led them to a serene river. As they surveyed the river, Lilly noticed a basket floating in the water. James entered the water, pulled out the basket, and handed it to Lilly as he emerged. When Lilly and James peered inside the basket, they found a newborn boy with hazelnut brown hair, green, emerald eyes in his left eye, and a deep ocean blue eye in his right, as well as white-toned skin, crying. While Lilly was comforting the boy, the boy's note slid off him and into the basket as she reached down to pick him up. James picked up the message, read it, and then handed it to Lilly.
