Slug Fu Showdown Pt 1
In the sewer tunnels on the Surface, a manhole opened up, and then 2 figures dropped down into the tunnel. One was a handsome man and the other was a 13-year-old boy with shoulder-length chestnut brown hair with blonde highlights, tied in a ponytail. A Pidra slug hopped down onto the boy's shoulder. "Alright. It's this way." The man said, leading the boy deep into the tunnel, using the flashlights on their phones to light the way. And then they found the button with the Shane mark. The man revealed himself to be Cilan Garcia, awake from his coma. And the boy was his adopted son, Tad. "This is it, Tad. This is the entrance to Slugterra." Cilan said as he pushed the button and opened the secret door. There they found the tunnel that leads to Slugterra. "Whoa! How far down does it go?" Tad asked. "All the way, son. All the way." Cilan said. Tad looked down at the pitch-blackness of the tunnel. "You ready?" Cilan asked. "Yeah. Let's do this." Tad said. Cilan took a deep breath and dropped down the tunnel first. Tad did the same and followed his father down into the tunnel.

Tad laughed as he followed Cilan down the tunnel. "This is awesome, Dad!" He exclaimed happily. "You're darn right, son!" Cilan exclaimed happily as they continued to dive through the tunnel. Just then, Tad's Pidra, Pieper, squeaked. Cilan and Tad looked down to see that the Drop was sealed up. "The Drop's been sealed!" Cilan exclaimed. "Don't worry! I got this!" Tad exclaimed. He pulled out a slingshot, loaded Pieper into the bungee and shot her towards the seal. Pieper transformed and blasted the seal open with concentrated sound waves. "Nicely done, son." Cilan said, praising his son. As they dived through the Drop, Cilan grabbed onto Tad and popped open his parachute. They landed gently and safely onto the ground. "We made it, Pieper." Tad said as he looked around the cavern. "Welcome, Tad, to Slugterra." Cilan said.
Shortly after landing, Cilan led Tad towards the Shane Hideout. "Wow! So, this is the Shane Gang's hideout?" Tad asked. "Yes. But it looks rather different than last time I was here." Cilan said, noticing the changes to the hideout. As they entered the hideout, Cilan and Tad took a moment to look around the place, noticing all the pets inside. "Whoa! No wonder the place has changed. Will's boys really went all out with pets." Cilan said. "Cilan? Cilan Garcia? Is that really you?" Eliza asked as she came out with Xana in her arms. "Eliza?" Cilan asked in surprise. Eliza put Xana down in her crib as Cilan walked over and brought her into a tight hug. "It's so good to see you again." Cilan said. "It's been so long. Last I heard, you were still in that coma." Eliza said as they broke apart. "Well, I just finally woke up from it a few days ago." Cilan said. Eliza noticed Tad. "Is this who I think it is?" She asked. "Yes. This is my son, Tad." Cilan introduced. "I've heard about you, Tad. It's nice to finally meet you." Eliza said. "And you too, Mrs. Shane." Tad said as he shook Eliza's hand. "Please. No Missus. Call me Eliza." Eliza said. "Of course." Tad said. "And this is my new daughter, Xana." Eliza introduced as she picked Xana back up. Cilan gasped in surprise. "You have a daughter now?! She's so adorable!" Cilan said happily. "Yeah. She's the cutest thing I've ever seen." Tad said, gently bopping Xana's little nose and making her laugh. "She likes you, Tad." Eliza said as she laughed. "So, is there anyone else here?" Cilan asked. "No. My sons and their gang just left after receiving a distress call." Eliza explained. "Oh. Well then, looks like we'll have to wait for a while." Cilan said. "I'm cool with that." Tad said. "Good. Now, why don't you boys make yourselves at home while I put Xana down for a nap and make some lunch. Oh, and get to know our pets while you're at it." Eliza said as she brought Xana back to her room. Bella and her fellow pets gathered around Cilan and Tad to introduce themselves.
Meanwhile, the Shane Gang were just entering Quisingly Cavern. "Coming up on the distress call location now!" Trixie called. "I wonder what's going on." Kala said. "You think it has anything to do with the new villain we've been hearing rumors about?" Kord asked. "One way to find out, big guy." Joshwa said. As the gang pulled over, they heard the people screaming 'Turtle!' "Uh, am I crazy or are the people screaming about a turtle?" Lash asked. "Turtle? We shall simply feed it a few pieces of lettuce and…" Pronto started to say. But then, something growled behind him. He turned to see and quickly pulled out his blaster, not seeing that he was holding it backwards. "We're going to need more lettuce." He whimpered. "Yeah. Like an entire field the size of Jersey." Fareeda said. The turtle they were facing was as big as mountain. It gave a loud roar, making the gang cover their ears.
"Now that is a TON of turtle!" Kord exclaimed. "You ain't kidding, lad." Watts said. But instead of attacking, the turtle just grabbed a flag from a nearby building in its mouth. "I don't think it's trying to hurt anyone. It's just getting something to eat." Eli said. But the turtle just spat the flag out, hating the taste. "Yeah, that's gonna be hard since there's barely anything edible in this town." Harley said. "Okay, gang, let's scare this…Turtleton…away from this town." Eli said. "Pronto has it covered." Pronto said as he zipped in front of the Shane brothers. "Oh no." Harley groaned, knowing what Pronto was about to do. Pronto slung Slimey. But Turtleton deflected the Jellyish with his shell, getting Pronto stuck in a pile of Loogi. "What?! Uh, I'm having a little bit of trouble here." Pronto said as he struggled to pull himself loose. "That shell is far too strong for our slugs." Junjie said. "No kidding. It's like hitting a steel wall." Aerona said. Just then, Turtleton turned his attention to Pronto with hunger in his eyes. "I think Turtleton just found his next meal." Trixie said with worry. "Molenoid alamode." Lash said. Pronto screamed as Eli and Harley rushed over to help. "Guys, help us out." Eli said. The gang all gathered around Pronto and tried to pull him free from the slime trap. "I thought we talked about removing Slimey from your arsenal!" Kord exclaimed. "And I said Slimey and Pronto got to stick together!" Pronto exclaimed. "Exactly! That's the problem!" Trixie exclaimed. "Yeah! You're always getting in these sticky situations!" Dana exclaimed.
"Better hurry, friends!" Junjie exclaimed as he, Yu Jie and the Fuurin Quadruplets tried to get Turtleton's attention to no avail. "On 3! 1! 2! 3!" Eli exclaimed as they finally pulled Pronto free. But his pants were still stuck. "My pants!" Pronto cried. "Forget them, Pronto!" Kord exclaimed, holding the molenoid back. "But they're my only pants!" Pronto cried. Turtleton sniffed the pants before scooping them up with his tongue. "Dude, you may not wanna watch." Kord said, covering Pronto's eyes. But Pronto peeked through Kord's fingers. His pupils shrank as Turtleton swallowed his pants in one gulp, making him scream. "My pants! My…My pants. NO!" He cried. "I know, buddy. I know. I lost a pair of pants once too." Kord said. "Best pants in all of Slugterra." Pronto sobbed as Paulina comforted him. "We'll get you a new pair. How does that sound?" Eli asked. "I don't want a new pair! I want those ones!" Pronto cried.
As Turtleton finished his meal, he got into attack position. "How are we gonna stop this thing?" Dana asked. "We need to knock this creature back onto his shell." Junjie said. "With what?" Eli asked. "All of our slugs would just bounce off that shell." Harley said. "Maybe we should use one of the Elementals." Trixie suggested. "The Elementals!" Eli exclaimed as he took off his backpack. "Good idea!" Harley exclaimed. "Be careful. The Elementals are hard to control." Yu Jie said with concern. Just then, Flares, Sora, Quake and Torrent shot right out of the backpack and started flying around the gang. "Yeah. They've been pretty feisty lately." Kord said. "I guess now that they've seen some action again, they're a little over-eager to let loose." Eli said as Quake flew over to him. As Quake hopped into Eli's hand, he gave Flares a high-five as he passed by. "Except you, Doc. I guess you're used to this kind of action." Eli said as Doc hopped out of his barrel. "But why aren't Wizard and the others like that?" Harley asked, noticing Wizard and his friends looking very calm. 'Well, that's because if you recall, we're not just Elemental Slugs. We're also Spirits. More well-behaved.' Wizard said. "Well, that's good for you, Wizard. But the others…" Eli said. Quake chittered eagerly, wanting to have a shot in on Turtleton. "Okay, okay." Eli said as he loaded Quake in his blaster. He slung the Earth Elemental and hit Turtleton in the head, knocking him on his shell. "Yes!" Eli cheered. "Right on target, Eli." Harley said.
Unfortunately, Quake happily continued his onslaught through the city, smashing into buildings and tunneling into the ground. Junjie and Yu Jie tried to snag him with their Slug Fu, but he wouldn't obey them. "Quake's causing more damage than Turtleton did." Trixie said. "Guess that's what happens when we use an over eager Elemental." Joshwa said. "The Elemental is not responding to my Slug Fu." Junjie said. "Nor to mine." Yu Jie said. "He has a name, you know." Harley said. "We'll get him." Eli said, nodding to Kala as she walked up. "I'm ready." Kala said. "Hey, Quake! Let's calm it down now, pal!" Eli called, getting Quake's attention. With Quake distracted, Kala performed her Slug Fu, grabbing onto Quake and slowing him down until he popped back into his Protoform. The gang, except Aerona, Fareeda and Paulina, was impressed by this.
"That was a fascinating use of Slug Fu, Kala. And your gift for communicating with slugs is truly amazing, Eli. But you and Harley will need to master control if you are to command the Elementals." Junjie said. "I don't know, Junjie. Commanding slugs isn't really our style." Eli said. "Yeah, that's not the way we do things in this gang." Harley said. "Then it must become your style. You must learn the art of Slug Fu." Yu Jie said. "But your Slug Fu didn't work on the Elementals." Kord said. "Yeah. Only ours did." Fareeda said. "It is true. With all our training, the Elementals still would not obey my commands, nor Yu Jie's or the Fuurins'. Only the Garcias' commands. But we believe that Eli and Harley's special bond with slugs, along with their own Elemental powers, will enable them to achieve something that we cannot." Junjie explained. "That all sounds great and all, but Eli, when are we gonna find out more about Heltora?" Trixie asked. "And what about all those rumors about a new bad guy skulking about in the distant caverns? That needs to be checked out as well." Kord said. "Pronto also needs some pants." Pronto said, gesturing to his gross undies. "The gang's right. Harley and I can take the time to learn Slug Fu after we figure out who Heltora is, where she came from and why I have this strange connection with her." Eli said. "True. But until we can figure out where she is…" Harley started to say. "Boys, the journey to uncovering these secrets will most likely require you to use the Elementals, as well as your own Elemental powers." Junjie said. "Yes. You both must have learned to control them before we embark on that quest." Yu Jie said. "Come on. They're not that out of control." Eli said. But then, Flares blasted a restaurant with a fire blast, surprising the Shane brothers. "Flares!" Harley exclaimed. "You were saying?" Yu Jie asked. "Slug Fu, huh?" Eli asked.
Just then, something caught Pronto's eye. "Fire sale on pants." He said before zipping off. "Alright. You got us." Harley said, admitting defeat. "When do we start?" Eli asked. "Your training begins now." Junjie said. "Check me out, yo!" Pronto exclaimed, admiring some new purple pants he bought. The others were somewhat impressed. "Hmm. Never figured him for the purple type." Harley said. "5 bucks says he loses them in 3 days." Kord said. "Sooner." Trixie said as Pronto continued admiring his new pants.
Later, a group of guards was leading Turtleton away with some big carrots. Harley shook hands with the leader before walking back to the gang. "I just spoke with the guards. They'll have Turtleton brought back to the hideout in no time. And with plenty to eat too." Harley said. "Let's just hope your mom's prepared to take care of that big reptile." Joshwa said. "Dude, we have a Crystal Worm, an Ice Ogre and several other exotic pets. Turtleton won't be any different." Harley assured. "Alright, everyone, let's go learn some Slug Fu." Eli said. "No. Mastering Slug Fu requires one-on-one training. You, your brother and I, Yu Jie, and the Fuurins must travel without your friends." Junjie said. The gang all started exclaiming in protest. "So, just us and our slugs?" Harley asked. "I'm sorry, Harley. But you'll have to leave your slugs with your friends too." Yu Jie said. "Even Burpy?" Eli asked. "And Hestia?" Harley asked. "Especially Burpy and Hestia. You know too much about each other. That will complicate learning the Slug Fu technique." Junjie said, much to the annoyance of Burpy and Hestia. "Well, this is just stupid." Harley muttered. "Don't worry about it, Harley. Because we're coming too." Kala said. "Perhaps you did not understand, Garcias." Junjie said. "Oh, we understand. We know Slug Fu too. And if Eli and Harley are going to learn Slug Fu, they'll need our help too." Fareeda said. "Very well." Junjie said, agreeing to let the Garcia Quadruplets come along.
"You 2 think this is a good idea?" Kord asked as he mounted Wyatt. "We're not sure. But you were right, Kord." Eli said. "Yeah. Those rumors about a new villain in the distant caverns. Somebody's gotta look into that." Harley said. "And you can leave that to me, sons." Will said. "Right. Dad, while we're off learning Slug Fu, you'll be in charge of leading the gang." Eli said. The gang were shocked with glee from hearing that. The legendary Will Shane leading the Shane Gang once again. Unfortunately, the Elementals interrupted their gleeful moment. "Can you guys at least try to behave until we get back?" Eli asked. 'I'm afraid asking these 4 to behave is like asking a fish not to swim.' Wizard said. "Do not worry. New pants Pronto knows just what to do. The Elementals are going nowhere." Pronto assured. "Oh no." Harley groaned, knowing what the molenoid was planning.
Later, the gang were now riding through the canyons with Will leading the way while Eli and Harley went off to learn Slug Fu with Junjie, Yu Jie, the Fuurins and the Garcias. "Good thing Eli and Harley left this to Pronto. To deal with the Elemental slugs, you need a firm hand, new pants and a secret weapon." Pronto said. In the slug cart, the Elementals were all stuck together in sticky slime, curtesy of Slimey. "Why did Pronto keep that Jellyish?" Kord asked. 'Was this really necessary? Me, Doc, Thunderbird, Glace, Gaia and Toxiana are as calm as a cucumber.' Wizard assured. Just then, Flares melted the slime, setting him and the others free. He, Sora, Quake and Torrent hopped over to Pronto, much to Slimey's dismay. "Yes. No doubt they'll learn some respect now that I have…" Pronto started to say. But then, Torrent interrupted him by blasting him with a jet of water. Torrent then hopped onto Fernando and blasted Pronto again. Then Flares joined him and blew a flamethrower at Pronto's head. Torrent then put the fire out with another blast to the face. The gang stopped their mechas and laughed at Pronto's misfortune. "We will see who's laughing when I teach these Elementals a lesson with…Slug Fu." Pronto said, leaping off Fernando while preparing to use his own version of 'Slug Fu.' "You? Slug Fu?" Kord asked. "Is he for real?" Deagan asked. "Oh yeah. Pronto's been training himself. I've been…documenting his routines." Trixie said, showing the gang her videos of Pronto's 'Slug Fu' training. He trained himself with a broom until he slipped on a towel and landed on his head. The gang laughed at this. "Interesting technique, Pronto. I like how you use your face to break your fall." Kord said. "Yeah. You're quite the master." Dana said as Pronto cleaned his face. "You do not understand. It is my own brand of Slug Fu. Behold! The power of Pronto Fu!" Pronto exclaimed as he performed his 'Pronto Fu.' The Elementals all laughed at his hilarious display. Flares pulled out Slimey and made him squirt a slime blast at Pronto, getting his legs stuck again. Flares, Sora, Torrent and Quake then leapt down and started circling around Pronto's pants. When it was all over, Pronto realized that the Elementals had stolen his pants and hopped away with them. "Hey! Wait!" He exclaimed before sitting down sulking as Doc, Wizard, Thunderbird, Gaia, Glace and Toxiana hopped down next to him. Kord groaned at losing his bet to Trixie, tossing her a $5 coin. "Tough luck, Kord." Will said. "Well, let's go get them." Trixie said. "The sooner the better." Mario said.
Meanwhile, Junjie, Yu Jie, the Fuurins and the Garcias brought Eli and Harley to a quiet serene cavern. Junjie, Yu Jie and the Fuurins were doing a bit of Tai Chi while the Shane brothers looked around and the Garicias walked off somewhere. "So, this is where we're gonna learn Slug Fu?" Eli asked. "No. First we must collect new slugs." Junjie said. "Collect new slugs? How?" Harley asked. "Observe." Junjie placed his ear against the ground and listened. Eli and Harley stared in confusion. "This is how our shifu taught us." Junjie said as he stood back up. He used his Slug Fu teachings and brought a Slicksilver out of the ground. "You see? Now you, Eli." He said. Eli knelt down in front of the hole where the Slicksilver was brought out. "Hey, anyone else in there? I could really use your help. Any slug down there interested in joining me and my brother in some fun and a little action?" He asked as he called into the hole. "No, no. You misunderstand. First, you must…" Junjie tried to explain. But then he was interrupted by some chittering. Everyone looked down to see a Diggrix hop out from the hole. "Go on. What do I need to do first?" Eli asked as he picked up the Diggrix. "This is not how we were trained. But it is effective." Yu Jie said. "Yes. We can see why you 2 are the Shanes. You 2 clearly have a gift for bonding with slugs." Junjie said. "Thanks. It's something we learned from our father." Eli said. "Yeah. He always told us that slugs are more than just ammunition to a slinger." Harley said. Just then, Burpy and Hestia popped out of Eli's backpack, surprising everyone. "Burpy? Hestia? You stowed away?" Eli asked. Burpy and Hestia chuckled sheepishly. "Figures these 2 wouldn't take no for an answer." Harley said. "Yes, you 2 sure have your way with slugs." Yu Jie said. "Indeed. But you 2 still a bit to learn about controlling them." Junjie said. The Fuurins nodded in agreement as Eli and Harley chuckled. "Hey, guys. What'd we miss?" Aerona asked as she and her sisters rejoined their friends. "We were just collecting new slugs. You're just in time to join in." Junjie said. But then he noticed that each of their slug barrels were already full. "Yeah, we kinda already got our new slugs." Kala said.
Meanwhile, a group of rogue slingers were attacking Trailer Park Cavern, firing their slugs all over the place. The townspeople quickly took cover. "This cavern is now the sole possession of our merry little band!" The leader declared. A preteen girl named Sally and her Flopper, Old Timer, peeked out from behind a trailer. "Yeah! Any slugs you have now belong to us!" A cyclops exclaimed. Old Timer growled. "Don't worry, Old Timer. We're not gonna let that happen." Sally assured as she readied her own blaster and approached the rogues. "Get out of our town! We got nothing for you here, so just go on!" She exclaimed as Old Timer hopped in the blaster. "Oh yeah? Who's gonna make us, squirt? You?" The cyclops asked. "If I have to." Sally said as she prepared to shoot. Old Timer coughed in the barrel. "Ha! With that old Flopper?" A she-elf in the group asked as she laughed. "Yeah. That old Flopper is totally pathetic! That slug is useless!" The cyclops exclaimed. But Sally would not stand down. Just then, Flares, Torrent, Quake and Sora perched nearby and watched this. "Scram, kid! We're taking over this cavern. So, you and your antiques can take a hike!" The leader exclaimed. "Yeah! You and your antiques can take a hike!" The cyclops repeated. "Yeah! Take a hike!" The she-elf repeated. "I warned you." Sally said. She fired her blaster, but Old Timer got stuck in the barrel for a second before he was slung. The blaster threw poor Sally into a couple of trash bins near the Elementals. Old Timer landed at the rogue slingers' feet, making them laugh at poor Sally's misfortune. But then, the Elementals hopped over to Sally. "Whoa! Are you what I think you are?" Sally asked in surprise. "Hey, you guys wanna help me out here?" She asked. The Elementals chittered to say yes.
Meanwhile, the gang were out looking for the Elementals. "Feeling the breeze, Pronto?" Trixie asked, teasing Pronto about losing his pants again, making him grumble. "What's your tracker say, Kord?" Lash asked. Kord took out his blaster and used the tracker to pick up the Elementals' signals. "The tracker's still reading the Elementals. So, that's good. Dude, you're lucky I still have this thing." He said. "Good. Can you program it to find me some pants?" Pronto asked.
Meanwhile, the rogues were looking through the cavern for anything good. But found nothing. The she-elf searched a mailbox, but it was empty. "Creepazoids!" She exclaimed, kicking the mailbox. "Garbage!" The cyclops exclaimed when he looked inside a garbage bin. "Nothing! This cavern's a waste! Nobody has any good slugs!" The leader exclaimed, tossing a pair of pants away. Just then, Sally walked up to him with the Elementals on her shoulders. "Where did you get those?! Give them to me NOW!" The leader demanded. "You asked for it." Sally said. She slung Flares, hitting the leader with Heattide and sending him running. The other 2 hid near the trash bin as Flares chased after him. Quake and Torrent hopped in Sally's hand. "You guys wanna play too?" She asked. The Elementals chittered as Sally slung Sora first, then Torrent, and finally Quake, at the other 2 rogues.
Nearby, Kord picked up a stronger signal. "Whoa! Okay, they're really close." He said as they pulled into the cavern. "Guys." Trixie said, pointing to the rogues running towards them. "Hey, didn't we take care of these guys last month?" Dana asked. The gang prepared to draw their blasters. "Don't go in there! You got no chance against her! No one does!" The leader cried. "Nice legs, mole!" The cyclops exclaimed before continuing. "Thanks." Pronto grumbled. "Must be one tough slinger. Better be ready for the worst." Kord said. 'Whoever it was, used our fellow Elementals.' Wizard said. "How could you tell?" Shimei asked. 'I sensed the same energy particles around those rogues.' Wizard said. The gang drove further into the cavern, where they were greeted by Sally and Old Timer. "Don't worry, Shane Gang. We took care of them." Sally assured. The gang figured she used the Elementals, but didn't say anything. "These rogues must be losing their touch." Trixie laughed. Just then, the pants that the rogue leader discarded earlier blew into Pronto's face. "Oh, bingo!" Pronto exclaimed. Just then, Kord's tracker picked up the Elementals' signal again. "The Elementals! This way!" He exclaimed. The gang drove off in the direction of the Elementals. Sally waved goodbye as they drove off.
"What's your tracker say, Kord?" Will asked. "They've stopped moving. They're right around this bend." Kord said. Pronto finally managed to put on his new pants as they managed to catch up to the Elementals. "Finally! Pronto can not wait to see the look on their silly little faces of…" He started to say. But then the Elementals were suddenly caught in a cage. "Whoa! Wait, what?" Trixie asked in shock. Just then, 2 familiar faces walked right up to the cage. "Quinten and Sgt. Slug?!" The gang asked in shock. Quinten and Sgt. Slug chuckled sinisterly as they took aim at the Shane Gang.
Meanwhile, after collecting their new slugs, Junjie, Yu Jie, the Fuurins and the Garcias brought Eli and Harley to Junkyard Cavern. "Now that we have collected and bonded with our fledglings, it's time to begin your Slug Fu training." Yu Jie said. "Choose one of your new slugs." Eli and Harley looked through their selection. They each collected a Slicksilver, a Diggrix, a Gazzer, even a Firenzar, a Narwhaddle and a Midas. "Okay, Maggs. Hop in." Eli said, holding out his blaster for his Slicksilver, Maggs. "Maggs? You've already named them?" Junjie asked in surprise. "Well, yeah. The Diggrix is Rex, and my new Gazzer here is Joker." Eli introduced as Joker farted, making the others laugh. "The Firenzar is Draco, my Narwhaddle is named Wally, and the Midas is called…well, King Midas." "Kind of appropriate, don't you think?" Harley asked. Junjie just stared at them in confusion. "Did we do something wrong?" Eli asked. "No. It's just that…" Junjie tried to say as he held out his hand for his new Slicksilver and she hopped into it. "We, too, have bonded with our new slugs. But it never even occurred to me to name it yet." He said. "She's a she, not an it." Harley said. "Yes. Of course." Junjie said sheepishly. "Pardon my brother's formalities. Traditionally, we don't name our slugs until they've been used for some time." Yu Jie explained. "That's kinda unfair." Paulina said. "We know. We said the same thing in our youth." Satoshi said. "But how do you do it without such traditions?" Yu Jie asked. "Well, it's easy. What's her name, Junjie?" Eli asked. Junjie and his Slicksilver stared at each other for a few seconds. "Yin." Junjie said, naming the slug. "She likes it. I can tell." Harley said. Junjie held up a barrel and Yin hopped in it. "Your approach is different, my friends. But the result is the same." He said as he loaded Yin into his right arm's wrist blaster. "Yes. It seems like you are also teaching us." Yu Jie said. The Fuurins nodded in agreement. Eli, Harley and the Garcias smiled proudly.
"Now let's begin. The challenge: you are being attacked from several directions." Junjie explained, gesturing to the old rusty mecha beasts surrounding them. "Piece of cake. We've got plenty of slugs." Eli said. "Using just 1 slug." Junjie said. "Excuse me?! 1 slug?! But the targets are all over the place!" Harley exclaimed. "Observe." Junjie said as he fired Yin. "This is the fun part. My new Slicksilver will obey my mind's commands." He explained as he used his Slug Fu, commanding Yin to magnetically snag a jackal mecha's head with Magnacoil and toss it at a bull mecha, damaging it while also tripping a horse mecha. Then Junjie commanded her as she grabbed a snake mecha's tail and slammed it into the other mechas. Then after delivering one last tail slam on a bull mecha's head, Junjie brought Yin back to his, landing her on his shoulder. Yin smiled before hopping back into her barrel. "Do you want to learn how to do that?" Junjie asked. "No. We NEED to learn how to do that!" Eli exclaimed happily. "Yeah! That was so cool!" Harley exclaimed happily. "Fire when you are ready." Junjie said.
Eli knelt down to his slugs. "Okay, Maggs, you can do this, right? I make the moves, you just follow along." He said. Maggs nodded, saying she can do it. "What do you say?" Maggs hopped into Eli's blaster, and Eli slung her. But when he tried to use Slug Fu, Maggs didn't respond and just continued following her own trajectory as she collected scrap metal with Magnacoil before she crashed into a scrap pile. Maggs shook off the dizziness and hopped on back. Eli groaned sadly. "Do not sulk, Eli. That was only the first try." Junjie said. "Harley, your turn." Yu Jie said. Harley picked up his Slicksilver, Steel, loaded her into his blaster and slung her. But as he tried to use Slug Fu, Steel wouldn't respond and ended in the same result, crashing into the same scrap pile. Suddenly, as Steel hopped back, a red eye woke up in the scrap pile. "Aw man." Harley groaned. "We did the moves perfectly and the shots didn't work. What are we doing wrong?" Eli asked. "It is difficult opening your mind to Slug Fu. For it to work, you must truly believe it will work." Junjie said. "It's true. It took us a bit of time for us to believe that our Slug Fu will work for us." Aerona said. "But once we put our belief into it, we perfected it." Kala said. Eli and Harley looked at each other, then at Burpy and Hestia as they hopped onto their shoulders. "Come. Let us try it again." Junjie said.
Eli and Harley loaded Burpy and Hestia into their blasters. But suddenly, the Goons' old Stinkbeast leapt out from the scrap piles where it was sleeping and attacked the group. "Oh, not this beast again!" Aerona exclaimed as she loaded and slung her new Tormato, Vortex. But the Stinkbeast smacked Vortex aside with a headless jackal mecha and tossed it at Aerona. Junjie leapt and pushed Aerona out of the way. But afterwards, they realized how close they were as Junjie was laying on top of Aerona as she was laying on the ground. "Oh! Uh…my apologies." Junjie said, bushing hard. "No! It's…It's okay. You did…save me." Aerona said, blushing hard. Eli and Harley slung Burpy and Hestia. Yu Jie loaded her blaster as the Stinkbeast blocked the Infurnuses with an oil barrel. Eli and Harley tried to use Slug Fu to bring them back, but no avail. The Fuurins and the Garcias prepared to fire their slugs, but the Stinkbeast tossed a pawful of scrap at them, forcing them to take cover. As the Stinkbeast prepared to crush Eli and Harley with the barrel, Yu Jie slung Towa at its head, knocking it out cold. Eli and Harley smiled sheepishly. Junjie quickly got off Aerona before anyone could see and walked towards the Shane brothers. "Come. I believe we must take another approach." He said, leading the group out of the cavern.
Meanwhile, the gang continued to standoff against Quinten and Sgt. Slug. "You know these guys?" Will asked. "Yep. Quinten's a rogue scientist who nearly crushed us with a giant mechsuit and an endless army of robot slugs in Futuria Cavern." Kord explained. "And Sgt. Slug's a former director at Club Slug, using a machine to temporary power up slugs, making them crazy and tiring them out after a few shots." Trixie explained. "And not to mention they also served under Dr. Blakk, creating dangerous machines for him." Lash said. "Nice of you to introduce us to the legendary Will Shane, Shane Gang." Sgt. Slug taunted as Quinten chuckled. "Unhand those slugs! They belong to us!" Pronto demanded. "Sorry. But as the saying goes: finders' keepers, losers' weepers." Quinten said. "Yeah. So, let us put this in words that only we know." Sgt. Slug said as he and Quinten fired a couple of Grenukes at the gang, knocking them down with Mushboom. The 2 villains chuckled as they aimed at the gang, holding the Elementals in their cage. "You better be careful, bros. You don't know who you're dealing with." Kord warned. "Oh, on the contrary, cave troll. We understand precisely what we possess. 4 out of 12 of the Elementals." Quinten revealed. "Yeah. 4 out of 12 of the most powerful beings in Slugterra." Sgt. Slug added. This shocked the gang. "And once we have the other 8, we're gonna be on easy street. Everything will be different for us starting today." Quinten explained. "That's right. Because nobody will ever disrespect us ever again!" Sgt. Slug exclaimed.
But suddenly, the ground beneath them started to shake. They leapt out of the way, losing the Elementals in the process. Then Sedo came out from the hole he dug with his mole mecha with Munch beside him. "Sedo! My life. Long. Nemesis." Pronto gasped. "And Munch too." Lash added. "More enemies of yours?" Will asked. "Yes. Sedo was a hidden mole Blakk hired to infiltrate the Slug Run where Eli and Harley met me months ago, all to steal Eli's Crystalyd, Digger." Vance explained. "And Munch was causing havoc in Quisingly Cavern. Eli challenged him without Burpy and his top slugs. But Burpy and the others managed to frighten him off when they showed up, driving a mecha beast." Trixie explained. Sedo activated a claw on his mecha and snatched the Elementals. "You snooze, you lose. Chao." He said before digging back into the ground. "Yeah. So long, losers." Munch said before following his partner. "Uh-oh." Quinten and Sgt. Slug said simultaneously as the gang fired their Megamorph slugs at them. Trixie slung Rocks. Kord slung Bludgeon. Pronto slung Stinky. Vance slung Chill. Mario slung Ricochet. Lash slung Zing. Shimei slung Hindo. Watts slung Scourge. Dana slung Webby. Rune slung Thurisaz. Barry slung Bob. And Will slung his Tormato. The slugs blasted Quinten and Sgt. Slug across the hole, knocking them out.
The gang all looked down the hole. "Now Sedo and Munch have the Elementals?" Trixie asked. "Did every bad guy we meet get some kind of memo?" Dana asked. "But how does everyone even know about them?" Kord asked. All eyes turned towards Pronto, having knowing his irresponsibility. "What?! No! It wasn't me! At least, not this time." Pronto objected. "Well, whoever it was, it's now possible every bad guy in the 99 caverns will be coming after them now. Maybe even the new guy." Rune deduced. "Good thinking. Only now I'm really worried." Lash said. "Just how many enemies did Eli and Harley make in my absence?" Will asked. "About a…couple dozen." Trixie said as she and the others smiled sheepishly. "Figures." Will said with a chuckle.
Meanwhile, Junjie, Yu Jie and the Fuurins led Eli, Harley and the Garcias across a mountain. "Mind telling us where we're going?" Eli asked. "Somewhere you both will have no choice but to focus completely on opening your minds to Slug Fu." Junjie said sternly. Yu Jie now got worried, knowing how her brother gets when he's determined with his teachings. "We know what that means. We've seen martial arts movies. We're gonna head to some remote mountaintop where we're gonna sit cross-legged and say om for 10 days straight." Eli guessed. "Yeah. I only have one word to say to that. Bor…" Harley started to say, until he noticed where they were. "…ing." Junjie had brought them into a cave filled with giant spiders. Kala shrieked at the sight of the spiders, for she had arachnophobia. "This is not the zen-like mountain I had in mind." Eli said. "Junjie, no offense, but have you lost your mind?!" Harley exclaimed. "No. Now your training can truly begin." Junjie said. The spiders hissed as they lowered themselves towards the group. Kala screamed louder as they approached.
Incredible, right? The Garcia Quadruplets' father, Cilan, and their adopted brother, Tad, have finally come down to Slugterra while the Shane Gang deal with the hungry, hungry Turtleton. Afterwards, Junjie, Yu Jie, the Fuurins and the Garcias take Eli and Harley to learn Slug Fu while Will and the rest of the Shane Gang deal with the 4 energetic Elementals. On the way, the gang each contend with old threats like Quinten and Sgt. Slug, the Stinkbeast, and Sedo and Munch, which ended with Flares, Quake, Torrent and Sora being captured.
