Flowers From the Heart

Duo laid on his bed thinking about the kiss he had shared with Heero just a few minutes ago in the living room. 'Wow. It was just perfect...but does it really mean he cares for me or something else. *sighs* I'm forgetting to go see which flowers were in Quatre's garden. Better get working on that, so Trowa can get moving on his re-gardening plan.' Duo got up left his room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Kitchen~~~~~~~~~~~
Trowa cleaned up the dishes he had used for his lunch and thought about what Wu Fei said. 'A small object can mean so much to a person. A simple flower. Well maybe if my plan works out and I manage to plant all the flowers then I can ask Quatre to allow me to help him with the flowers from now on...it may have a positive effect on me. If he doesn't...then flowers will only bring me pain.'
~~~~~~~~~~~Living Room~~~~~~~~~~
'I wonder what happened to Duo...maybe I scared him or maybe he really didn't want me to kiss him the way I did. What should I do? Should I go after him? Should I let him come to me?' Heero thought to himself.
'Well Heero the answer is simple...you don't let yourself be taken over by these silly emotions.'
'What! I care deeply for Duo. I won't stop my feelings...not even if it interferes with my work as a Gundam pilot.'
'Then you must wait for him to come to you. No sense in you running to him when you don't know if he even has the same feelings towards to you. You wouldn't want to make a fool out of yourself now would you?'
'Well...that does make sense. *thinks* I'll just stay here and wait for him to come back...he must have just gotten a bit embarrassed and decided to go cool off. I have time to wait for him...'

Quatre stood by his window staring out at the sky. "I don't see a reason why I should sit here and worry. I'll get those flowers one way or anther. Maybe I should go work on the section of the garden that's worse off. No point wasting valuable time getting gray hair. *smiles* It's a lovely afternoon anyways."
Quatre turned and walked out the study and headed for the side door. He didn't notcie Duo leaning against the wall by his door. 'Great he's going outside. As much as I don't like sneaking around his or anyone else things I have to. It's for Quatre's good along with Trowa's!' Duo goes into Quatre's study. 'Now where would I find a list of flowers...he has to have one. He's been calling around for them.'
Duo looks around the room when he notices the laptop sitting on the desk. 'Now why didn't I think of that sooner. Well at least none of his stuff is locked up, he trusts us all...if he found me here would he not trust me...well let's not find out.'
Duo sat down at the table and looked over the files and other things Quatre had saved on the thing. 'Wow! He sure does do a lot of work!! I hardly see that boy on this thing...he seems to out do Heero. And that guy is permanently attached to his laptop.'
After a bit of searching and button pushing Duo finally managed to find a list that Quatre had made up with the flowers that belonged in his garden. "Yes! Now all I need is to print this out and give it over to Trowa and Operation Garden is in order.'
Duo sets to printing out the list of flowers...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Living Room~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wu Fei was on his way outside when he noticed Heero sitting stone like on the couch of the living room, staring straight at the wall in front of him.
'What's wrong with him? I thought Duo was here with him...I wonder if I upset them both...I'll apologize once more.'
Wu Fei walks in and stands next to Heero. Heero's head snaps over to look at him, with this look of hope. Wu Fei looked puzzled at this look on Heero's face. 'Never seen him looking like that before...'
Heero face was replaced by his normal stone face the minute his eyes focused on the face in front of him. 'It's not Duo...why did I even think it was...he needs more time away from me...' He gave Wu Fei a little glare. "What do YOU want Wu Fei."
Wu Fei could tell Heero was still upset about being interrupted when kissing Duo. "Heero I just wanted to come in here and apologize again for walking in on you and Duo...*looks uncomfortable under the glare* I shouldn't have walked in."
"Hn...."Heero turned back to his wall.
Wu Fei slowly began to make his way out of the living.
"Wu Fei..."
"Yeah Heero?"
"Have you seen Duo?" Heero glanced over at Wu Fei.
Wu Fei looked at Heero. "I'm sorry I haven't seen him since...*blushes* earlier. Would you like me to go see if he's in his room and tell him you're looking for him?" he offered.
Heero glared. "NO! Don't tell him I'm looking for him."
"Oh...ok. I'm sorry." Wu Fei leaves the living room.
'Duo has to come to me because he cares for me not because someone says I'm looking for him...'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Backyard~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trowa was lazily bouncing the basket ball waiting for Duo to show up. 'Why am I doing this again. Basket ball doesn't seem to be my thing...I can play just fine but I look foolish playing...' Duo comes out of no where and steals the ball from Trowa and shoots it into the hoop.
"Ah shame on you Trowa...you let your mind wonder. Made it easier for me to steal the ball and make that basket. *smiles* Now you ready to get beat by Shinigami??" Duo spinned the basket ball on a finger only to have it fall almost immediately.
Trowa laughed softly. "Well then Duo...let us play. Just one game though...I'm not to up to the idea of playing."
"Man don't be bummed out Trowa! I've got the list already! *grins* So now we just need to get the flowers and have you plant them down...I'll entertain our dear Quatre and tada...you two will be back to normal!"
"Duo...don't jump before you look for what's in front of you." Trowa picked up the ball and shot it into the hoop.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hallway~~~~~~~~~~~
Quatre made his way to the living room to enjoy the sunlight and his tea. He walked in and sat down in one of the armchairs. It wasn't after he was all comfortable that he noticed Heero sitting there staring at the wall. Quatre watched him for a moment.
"Is something the matter Heero??" Quatre said softly not wanting to startle Heero, even though that was a hard task to accomplish.
"No..." Heero replied continuing to stare at the wall.
Quatre frowned. "Well I don't believe you. Why are you sitting there staring at the wall??"
Heero glanced at him. 'He's right...why am I sitting here waiting! I have things to do...who ever said I had to sit here like some love sick moron. Where's my laptop.'
"You're right Quatre...I should be on my laptop doing some work." Heero got up and grabbed his laptop and begun typing.
"That's not what I meant Heero. But I won't argue with you." Heero seem to be totally ignoring Quatre, so he just sat back and relaxed.

::Two hours later::
"That was fun Trowa. So..*looks around* you want to meet in my room later on and talk about our plans for Operation Garden?" Duo whispered.
"Alright. Right after dinner? Or should we wait till everyone is asleep...I don't want to take a chance of anyone finding out about Operation G...." Trowa said calmly.
Duo beamed. "Ok...well I'm gonna go get cleaned up for dinner."
Trowa nods and walks into the kitchen to get a drink. He got a glass out of the cabinets and pour himself a cup of lemonade.
Quatre walked into the kitchen but stopped when he saw Trowa standing there drinking some lemonade. 'Well I can't just ignore him...Wu Fei said I should give him a chance and that he honestly didn't mean to destroy the flowers, even though it seemed that way.'
Quatre stepped closer to Trowa.
"Trowa?" Quatre said from right behind Trowa.
Trowa jumped and spun around to look into the beautiful sapphire eyes he loved.
"Quatre? Um..Hi...how are you feeling?" Trowa asked softly.
Quatre smiled lightly. "I'm doing fine. How are you?"
"...Fine." Trowa and Quatre stand there staring at each other. "Quatre...I..."
"Excuse me I have to get dinner ready." Quatre began to busy himself with small tasks.
Trowa stood and watched for a few minutes then slowly walked out of the kitchen.

Duo was on his way upstairs when he passes the entry way to the living room and notices Heero sitting at his laptop. He would start typing but then freeze and not type for a long period of time. Duo smiled to himself. 'Heero seems to be acting like his normal self. Probably forgot all about kissing me. *laughs* I don't want to bother him...I can talk to him later...or should I talk to him. Maybe he is embarrassed about Wu Fei walking in *blushes*. Well I'll think about this later. Right now I need to go get cleaned up.'
Duo rushes upstairs to his bedroom.

A gentle breeze blew and the sun slowly started to set . Wu Fei sat on the soft grass mediating, obvious to all these natural wonders within his mediating stance. Wu Fei opened his eyes and watched the sun move down beyond the horizon.
"Hmmm...there is a lot those two have to learn and the journey has yet just begun. May Nataku be on their side, watching and guiding them. You hear me Meiran...let them solve this problem are bring themselves back together."
Wu Fei stood up as he heard Quatre call out to everyone, announcing dinner time.
