SYNOPSIS
Ben 10 Omniverse: A New Hope is a work of FanFiction written by a user under the alias of 'GalvanWriter', as a fun writing exercise. It is a What If Story that turns Ben 10 into an experimental Sci-Fi Fantasy Drama, while still sticking to Action/Adventure.
It is set in an Alternate Timeline, with unique takes on characters, chronologically continuing off the main continuity, right after the end of Omniverse. It is it's own isolated development on characters and their choices. It does not attempt to continue the Prime Continuity, it instead tries to do more improbable scenerios, whilst trying to stay true to established canon.
The Fic. follows three stories, throughout interconnected chapters. Charmcaster, Psyphon, and Ben are the main fictional story arcs that are developed throughout the Fic. Each Chapter is written in different formats, some try to replicate the feeling of an Omniverse Episode, Some try to replicate the Alien Force style, and Some are completely isolated from the genre, leaning more on Drama, Character Growth/Change, with less action, and introducing new original characters, world building, and concepts. Essentially the typical fanfiction.
The Three What If premises that spark this timeline are: What If Charmcaster were Redeemed? What if Psyphon Became a Competent Villain? and What If Ben got rejected by Kai? Among many others. These hypotheticals are what spark the ANH Universe.
