According to historical records, Boser the Conqueror was one of the greatest and most fearsome warriors of the ancient world. His very name carried weight alongside others like Apollyon and Holden Cross. Formerly a lowly thief, Boser quickly and surprisingly rose through the ranks of the Blackstone Legion, wielding his signature flail and shield with unmatchable skill. Countless territories belonging to the Vikings, Samurai, and Iron Legion alike fell as he led raid after raid, capturing the next piece of land quicker than the last. Even Apollyon herself was impressed with Boser's ruthless efficiency, referring to him as 'one of her favorite wolves'.

One raid in particular took place near the shores of Valkenheim. Moonlight spilled over the terrain, casting an ethereal glow on everything that wasn't consumed by inky shadows. Boser, as well as three other Blackstone Legion heroes: Sir Lexington, the Warden; Riss, a Peacekeeper; and an arrogant Gladiator by the name of Edicus Del, led their soldiers into battle against the Vikings. The four of them had agreed to infiltrate the Viking's fortress from different areas in order to split the inner defenses and reunite once inside.

Boser the Conqueror and a small group of soldiers were crouched outside the northeastern entrance waiting for Riss to get the gate open. They didn't have to wait long. A moment later, the gate came crashing down and Boser's team strolled in like they owned the place. Very soon, he knew, they would.
