A.N. Hey folks, Blue Tagg here with a new crossover story. This story is a crossover of Zootopia, and TMNT, the 2012 version. In this story, the Kraang have come to Zootopia, causing the turtles to follow.
I hope you enjoy the story.
I own nothing.
It was a dark evening in Zootopia's Savannah Central and all was not good. Down at the Savannah Central mall, a load of officers and SWAT were facing the mall, which they barricaded off. The mall was taken over by up to thirty mammals, which were holding twelve hostages. And right now, the ZPD was stuck.
"This is really bad," Judy Hopps said as she looked at the mall.
"No kidding, these guys have really made things difficult," Nick Wilde, Judy's partner and boyfriend said as he looked.
"Right now, I'm not sure what to do," Chief Bogo said.
Just then, approaching the barrier was a white-furred weasel, wearing a blue blouse and grey jeans. She approached the barrier in tears as Judy stopped her.
"Whoa ma'am, you can't go in there," Judy informed her.
"Please, my baby girl's in there!" the weasel woman said in tears. "You need to do something!"
"We wish we could, but these robbers made things difficult for us," Bogo said as she showed her a video on his phone.
On the screen appeared a woodchuck wearing an overcoat and an ear set.
"Hello ZPD, as you may have known, me and my crew have taken over the mall. You're thinking of swarming the main or back entrance, aren't you? Let me tell you, we placed motion sensors on all exits, so if you think about entering…" the wolf then motions to a stuffed teddy bear, which was destroyed by an explosion. "I'm sure you get the picture." With that, the video ends, leaving the weasel woman distraught.
"That toy was my daughter's favourite toy," the weasel woman whispered.
"We just stand around here, we need to…" Judy was saying but stopped.
The lights in the mall have been switched off.
Inside the mall, in the bank before the blackout, the woodchuck was smiling at how well the robbery was going. He then pressed against his ear set.
"I trust things are going well?" he asked into the earpiece. "Excellent."
"Beck," a voice said to the woodchuck. He turned to see a dingo approaching him.
"Here with the report on how Topo's doing?" Beck asked.
"All according to plan, we'll soon have our way out," the dingo reported.
"And the hostages?" Beck asked again.
"All co-operating," the dingo said as he showed him some footage on a tablet.
The footage showed a lion, a deer, a mole, two hyenas, a horse, a red racoon, a hippo, a porcupine, two pumas and a little weasel girl. They were all sitting in a room with their paws/hoofs bound, with the weasel girl crying while being comforted by the lion.
"Perfect," Beck said satisfied.
"So, once we're done?" the dingo asked.
"I placed a remote bomb in there. So, once we're done and out of here…. Boom," the woodchuck said as he then laughed.
"Ooh, I'm thinking of taking some of the delicious cake in the bakery. As a job well done," the dingo suggested.
"You know what, that sounds okay to me," Beck replied, liking the sound of delicious cake.
Just then, the lights went out across the mall, much to their surprise.
"What the…!?" Beck said in shock. He then got out a flashlight.
"What happened to the lights?!" the dingo said. Beck then touched the communicator on his ear.
"Report!" Beck demanded.
In one part of the mall, a male polar bear and a black-furred vixen noticed the power went out.
"I don't know, the lights just went out," the polar bear said as he wielded a baseball bat.
"Relax, foxes can see in the dark, remember?" the fox said as she looked around.
Just then, she noticed something running swiftly passed them.
"Whoa, what was that?" the fox asked in surprise.
Just then, something kicked her from behind into a stone pillar, leaving her partner surprised.
"Whoever you are, show yourself!" the polar bear said as he wiled his bat.
Just then he noticed a figure in the dark. He ran towards it with his bat raised, but when he slammed it down, he felt something happening to it. The bear looked at the bat to see it was sliced off. The bear then felt a punch to the face and was knocked out.
In another part of the mall, a male ocelot, platypus, elephant and a female zebra were walking around looking for any signs of their visitors.
"Someone's definitely here," the ocelot nervously said.
"Let them come, I'll give them a jab with my toxic spurs," the platypus said as he showed off his spurs.
Just then they felt a presence around them. They got out their weapons and prepared themselves.
"They're here somewhere," the zebra said as the gang readied themselves.
The platypus looked around until he saw a figure in the dark. Taking this opportunity, he charged towards it and jabbed his spur into their backside. But surprisingly, it felt solid, causing the platypus to jump up and down while holding his injured spur.
"Ow, ow, that hurt," he kept saying until he was knocked to the side.
The other three braced and readied themselves for what might come.
The puma then felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and someone punched him and then did a leg sweep.
The zebra felt something hit her in the face, which then exploded and created smoke around her. She was then body slammed to the ground.
The elephant then charged at some, which then jumped over him, grabbed his trunk and flipped him down. He then got back up and charged again, but felt a small tap on his shoulder, which caused his body to become paralysed.
Back with Beck and the dingo, they were looking worried as Beck tried to communicate with the others.
"Deacon, what's going on!?" Beck said into his earpiece but got static. "Vicky!?" … "Patrick!?"
"What's happening!?" the dingo said with worry.
"Well, whatever's happening, it just cost them some hostages," Beck said as he got out the remote detonator. He then pushed the button and… nothing happened. "What!?" Beck kept pressing the button over and over.
"Why isn't this working!?"
With the hostages, who were guarded by two rhinos. They just sat there in the dark, afraid. The weasel girl was the most scared with the lion holding her close.
"It's okay sweetheart, it'll be all right," the lion said as he tried to comfort her.
Just then, they heard the two rhinos grunting. Then there were sounds of them being hit. They couldn't see what was happening because it was dark.
They could make out two silhouettes in the dark.
"Don't panic, we're here to help," the figure said to reassure them.
The other approached one end of the room, then he showed a light on the ground, which showed the silver bomb and glowed purplish pink. It got the hostages scared. He then approached the porcupine.
"Sorry about this mister," the figure said as it took one of his quills, much to the porcupine's annoyance.
The figure then approached the bomb and used the quill to unlock the top of the bomb, which showed some wires. It then used a pair of scissors to cut a certain wire, which shut down the bomb entirely.
"And that takes care of that," the figure said. "The bomb's disabled."
"Excellent," the other figure said as he got out a small knife, which he used to cut the bounds off the hostages.
They were relieved after their bounds were off.
"Thank you," the lion said on behalf of them.
"You're welcome. Now head straight to the exit, we'll cover you," the figure instructed. After that, they disappeared.
The hostages went in the direction of the exit. The lion was carrying the little weasel girl.
Beck was still trying to reach his comrades through his earpiece.
"Any of you, knuckleheads hear me!?" Beck demanded to his crew, but still no answer.
"This is starting to freak me out," the dingo said. He then heard movement and turned his torch to see the hostages. "Sir, the hostages are escaping!"
Beck turned to them making a break for the exit, which caused him to pull a gun out.
"They're not going anywhere," Beck said. But before he could fire, something sharp hit him on the paw, causing him to drop it.
The dingo was then hit from behind by what felt like a stick, before being knocked out.
Beck then looked around knowing he was surrounded, which caused him to be scared.
"Okay, whoever you are, come out or…" Beck was saying before being pushed off his feet. He was then tossed in the air and felt like someone was playing hacky sack with him.
"Hey! Put me down!" Beck yelled as he kept being kicked like a ball.
The officers stood outside, looking ready to swarm the front entrance.
"All right SWAT, there are hostages inside, our objective is to get them out and take down the criminals," Bogo instructed them.
They nodded in agreement, but then Nick noticed something coming out of the front door.
"Wait sir, there are mammals coming out of the front," Nick pointed out to the others.
They saw the mammals approaching and were ready for whatever might happen. But then the weasel lady noticed her daughter in the paws of the lion.
"Penelope!" she cried out as she ran to them, much to the officer's surprise.
"Mommy!" the weasel girl said as the lion put her down and she ran into her mother's arms.
That scene was enough to make the officers realise…
"Sir, those are the hostages," Nick realised as he watched them approach. "Is everyone okay?"
"We're fine," the lion answered on their behalf.
"What happened?" Judy asked.
"We were tied up, but the power went out, then some mammals came in and cut us loose, even disarmed the bomb that was planted in the room," the lion explained.
"What mammals?" Bogo asked.
"It was too dark, we couldn't tell," the lion said.
They then turned to see the mall lights have been turned back on.
"All right officers, we're storming in!" Bogo commanded.
The officers made their way into the mall. But once they entered, they saw the criminals all unconscious and tied to the pillars.
"What happened to these guys?" Nick wondered.
"Well, whatever happened, let's get them locked up before they wake up," Judy suggested.
The officers were taking the unconscious criminals away, they were unaware that they were being watched from the roof. There were four big turtles, wearing no almost no clothing, except for bandages around their hands and feet. They wear also wearing masks that were blue, purple, red and orange. They also each had weapons that were katana blades, a bo-staff, a pair of sai, and a pair of nunchucks. Their names were Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo.
They were currently watching as the criminals were being taken away.
"Good job turtles," Leonardo said as they watched. "Those hostages are safe now."
"We've only been in this dimension for 6 hours, and we've already got a good beating," Raphael said as he cracked his knuckles.
"Let's not forget the real reason why we've been sent here in the first place," Donatello reminded them.
"You're right Donnie," Leonardo remembered. "The Kraang are here in Zootopia, and it's up to us to stop them."
"It was a good thing that this bomb was made out of Kraang tech," Donatello said as he presented the bomb. "Otherwise, my tracker wouldn't have picked it up and we never would've found out what was going on here."
"Why not just leave them for this world's authorities?" Michelangelo asked, only to be slapped on the back of the head by Raphael.
"Because they have no clue about the Kraang, and we're the only ones who do!" Raphael exclaimed.
"If we leave it to them, the Kraang will get the upper hand and vaporise them!" Donnie pointed out.
"Good point," Michelangelo said as he shrunk. "But it feels weird to leave New York, our own Dimension. What if something happens?"
"Relax, New York is under the good care of April, Casey, Karai and her Foot Clan, the Mighty Mutanimals, even Bebop and Rocksteady," Leonardo pointed out.
"I still can't believe how far those two came from being evil henchmen to protectors," Raphael realised.
"They came a long way," Donatello admitted. He then got out a device that was silver and baby blue. "And if there's any trouble, they can contact us through this, courtesy of the Utrom and we'll be back home in a snap."
"Anyway ninjas, first we need to find a base of operations, then we need to find the Kraang." Leonardo declared as they watched the officers down below leave.
"Booyakasha!" Michelangelo cried out.
A.N. And that was the first chapter folks. So, the turtles have taken down a hostage situation in the shadows and are now ready to begin their work. Will the ZPD be onto them or be clueless like the police officers back in their dimension?
