Finally! I'm actually doing it, writing about my top favorite Shirou - though UBW ties with this Shirou in my opinion - ! That's right, miyuverse Shirou. Hehehe! Now I just have to think of a good way to write Emiya Alter and I'm all good.

To the Other Side and Point of Justice are absolute bangers. To bad Point of Justice is like fifty seconds long. The movie - if it was a movie if I remember - had some really good music.

Anyway I thought about using grail war Shirou because I find them/him similar to Violet Evergarden with how they acted like machines - I may be wrong -, but I thought against it and went with miyuverse Shirou, he will do absolutely anything for that single person that means the world to him. Literally, I'm pretty sure he doomed his world all but for a single person.

He's also hot... Ehem, let's get on with the story shall we?

Sorry to any Gilbert and Violet fans and if I replace Gilbert with Shirou... Not really. Also sorry if I make miyuverse Shirou OOC and don't explain certain things too well since this is my first time writing miyuverse Shirou, yay!

Warning - Storyline may have changes since this is a FanFiction and I don't own Fate or Violet Evergarden but I bet you knew that already. That and the title, summary, rating, and genre may change at some point. Not guaranteed, but possibly.

Chapter 1

He failed.

He lost his father Kiritsugu, he lost his kouhai Sakura, he lost his friendship with Julian only to be betrayed. Even when he lost the people he cared most he continued on because he still had one thing in his life that mattered the most, his little sister Miyu. Now she was gone, he never got to say goodbye, never got to say I'm back, never got to see her smile one last time.

He had failed her and she had to pay the price for his failure, death.

She never got to experience everything the world had to offer yet. But he still fought on, he fought for her till his very end. If she have seen him right now she would tell him to keep living, that she would always love her Onii-chan, that it wasn't his fault.

So when he was face to face with Angelica he fought to live for his little sister. He had invoked his reality marble then and there as it seemed to just barely collapse, he gave it his all, even when all that awaited him was clear ruin.

She used Enuma Elish and he knew by now, he was fighting a losing battle. Yet he used every sword in his arsenal to combat such a weapon as he watched on as each and every sword was destroyed as soon as it crossed its path and towards him. It drew closer and closer and instead of trying to avoid his end, he collapsed on his knees.

He understood now...

He always did question how he was able to survive and come out on top as the winner of those seven battles he had fought in. He had learned where he had the prana to sustain EMIYA's magecraft.

The one who kept him going was...

He learned where he found such strength to win all those battles, the strength to keep going.

Miyu all along...

He learned of the truth in that very moment. He had nothing left to fight for now, he had no prana to sustain his reality marble now, he was never going to win this battle even from the beginning. It was all because he had lost everything and nothing left to fight for.

But here he was, on deaths door, still alive if barely. He only had a few moments to live, but all he did was reach out with his left hand as parts of it had darkened and reached out to the unknown. He was a failure, he failed is father, he failed Sakura, he failed Miyu, he failed himself, how much more did he have to endure till it was over?

"...I'm sorry... everyone..." His hand collapsed on the ground lifeless as had closed his eyes and died. The orphan was alone from the beginning and now too the end.

Thus, had Shirou Emiya died on the starless night sky and left this world, full of regrets and no path to atonement.

But his tale didn't end here, no. He may have left this world behind, but he would find himself in a new world, born in a fire once more. Only this time he was not the only survivor.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

He awoke, No... He instantly denied it, This isn't possible... He still refused to believe what he was seeing, I should have died! That was because he should be able to see anything because he had died, Why, why, why! There was no sweet release of death, there was only suffering.

That's when he saw it in his denial and panic, a hand that was emerged from a pile of ruble. It was a person, he rushed over and immediately threw every price of debris in his way towards a new goal. He ignore how his hands were smaller than ordinary, he ignore how he was shorter than usual, he ignored the arm that should have had a different shade.

He ignored everything to save the person in front of him, desperate. When he threw the last piece of rubble that's when he saw it, her. A child with blond hair and dull blue eyes that stared into his own golden eyes.

He felt himself smile as he cradled her into his body, "I did it, I did it, I did it..." He never noticed the tears streaming down his eyes as he hugged the girl in front of him, "I'm not a failure..." Was this how Kiritsugu felt when he first saved him? When he saw his smile for the first time?

He hated it.

He didn't deserve it. Yet he still found himself still smiling as he clung onto her body and cried into her shoulders as she stared at him.

They ignored everything around them, the burning city, the painful cry's in the distance, the pleas for help, even the roaring fire that surrounded them. It was just them as he continued to cry and ignore everything him, at this moment she was all that mattered to him.

He may have latched onto her to cope with himself, but he silently pledged to himself that day, that he would protect her at all cost. Even if he had to die in order to do so. This was the least he could. At least he could forgive himself, if only barely.

So the two eventually fell asleep as the girl fell asleep in his arms and he fell asleep hugging her. Soon the fire would burn out, soon the cry's would stop, soon the pleas of help were gone, soon it was just them.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

The girl was the first to awaken before the boy in front of her as she looked around, face devoid of life. Her eyes soon settled on the boy who was hugging her, he had auburn hair, his once tearful face was gone and seemed more peaceful as he slept unaware of her, his clothes were ripped and torn and was in horrible condition. He was a child, just like her.

She didn't know what to do, whether to stand up and leave or stay here and accompany him. She looked around once more, they were in a town as the buildings around them had collapsed and were charred black. Then there were the bodies, they ranged from young to old to elderly. She didn't care and stared at the charred bodies impassively.

She came to a decision, she would stay with him and accompany him, even if he refused her she would still follow.

She saw his eyes slowly open as he eventually stared back into her own eyes. She saw his eyes slowly begin to water, if barely, and hugged her much slowly this time. She did not respond nor did she hug him back, she only watched him as he hug her.

She saw his mouth move, she did understand a thing. She continued to stare at him as he stood up and his mouth seemed to mouth again yet she still didn't understand a word he was saying. She saw him close his eyes and his palm was now outstretched to her, she still made no action to move and only stared at him.

After waiting for a few more minutes he eventually dropped his hands to the side and lifted her up to stand on her own two legs. Even then she seemed to do nothing as she stared at him as his mouth continued to move and unintelligible sounds came out of his mouth. She heard him exhale and began walking away and he waved at her to follow him, she did so immediately as they walked side by side in the ruined town.

She followed him as he entered the houses that didn't collapse yet and watched as he searched around for something. She made no move to help him and only stood there next to the doorway as the sunlight peered through the broken house. She saw him walk towards her with a weapon, a knife, she instantly knew what it was and walked out waiting for her to follow him.

They did the same thing for a while, they searched the ruined town, checking all of the house's that managed to survive the fire, she watched as he tested many things in the many houses and they eventually backtracked with the both of them carrying all sorts of things to bowls, books, pencils, paper, anything that had survived they had take for themselves. The boy soon stopped in front of a house that seemed mostly intact and further away from the town itself yet it still suffered some damages. They both entered and she copied him, as he dropped the stuff neatly she too did the same.

She heard him exhale again as he grabbed a bow and quiver with a few arrows in them and exited. She quickly did the same and she saw him shake his head at her and pointed back inside. She followed where his hand had pointed and looked back at him with the same expression, it was still lifeless as ever. She heard him exhale again as he took a few more steps and she too did the same, he looked back at her and took and extra two steps and he watched as she did the same.

She heard him exhale a breath and reached for a knife he had brought with him and gave it to her, she did not know why he did it but she still kept it close. They then traveled into the woods as he trekked quietly through the greenery so she did the same, copying his every movement. That's when they came across a deer, eating the grass completely unaware of them and it's impeding doom. He pointed at it and sounds came from his mouth, "... kill it-" everything else was not understood, yet she understood those words clearly. At his words she immediately lunged at it and killed it without a second thought, at first his face possessed a look of shock but it changed when he approached them.

She saw him shake his head and she felt herself look down, perhaps in disappointment before he had brought his hand to her head and gave it a rub, ruffling her already dirty and messy hair. She stared back up at him as she saw a small smile adorn his face as she looked at him again. He couldn't really tell so he assumed it to be curiosity.

He tried to heave the now dead deer on his shoulder but he immediately buckled at it's weight as he frowned and stared at himself. She watched on as he examined himself and eventually he lifted the deer again, this time without a single problem and walked back towards the house where they had left everything, but not before looking back her and signaling her too follow. She impassively did so without question.

They soon reached the small house as he set the body down and looked at her bloodied knife, he reached out his hand and made a stabbing motion with his other hand. It turns out that wasn't the best idea as she mercilessly stabbed into his hand and pulled it out quickly, his expression contained one of shock as he grunted in pain and stood up and ran inside. She did not know what was the problem, he had told her to stab him did he not?

She waited outside patiently as he eventually returned with his right hand now bandaged as his blood seemed to soak the fabric. He did not look at her in anger, he instead had brought a second knife they had found and instead of using his right hand he used his left as he skinned the animal as she watched on. It seemed like he was struggling using only one hand yet he was making progress even if he did so slowly. It seemed that the giant bright ball in the sky was slowly beginning to disappear and the sky now began to take on an orange hue.

She payed rapt attention to him as he collected wood shavings and dried pine needles and then went inside and returned with a lighter and and two bowls. He walked towards her and guided her towards a bench the house had and sat her down, he then took the knife away and set it down a distance away from her as he placed the two bowls in her hands and lighter inside.

She watched as he then walked off and returned with a multitude of twigs and branches and set them down on the ground together. Once that was done he walked off again as she heard a noise in the distance and he eventually returned with small logs that were cut in half.

From then on she watched him set up a campfire carefully and step by step, making sure he didn't mess up along the way and went towards her and grabbed the lighter and used it to light said campfire as a fire began to emerge.

He soon walked off into the wilderness but for a much longer duration this time and returned with multiple fish and began the process of cutting them and cooking them on the campfire.

She was curious as a foreign smell soon invaded her nostrils and she began to sniff more, drawing the boys attention as she heard him chuckle at her. So the day was spent cooking the food and preparing the deers meat for some other day. They eventually ate the fish the boy had caught as the boy had to actually feed her before she began to ate on her own.

Once that was done he gestured her to follow him once more and she did, they walked through the forest in silence as she eventually heard a sound in front of them. They eventually came towards a small river that was not too deep nor was it too shallow.

She looked at him as he tried to gesture her to clean herself in the river yet she made no move to do so so she heard him exhale once more. He grabbed her arms and pointed them upward, when she dropped them he did it again so she left it there. She heard him exhale once more as he lifted the rags on her that he called clothes and set it aside and did so with her pants.

She looked at him and saw he was closing his eyes as he did so and once he felt there weren't any clothes left he slowly pushed her towards the river and she slowly began to enter. When he heard the splash of water he slowly sat her down in the river and slowly opened his eyes once more to see her dull blue eyes.

He was like that one time, perhaps he still was and he just didn't know it because he was watching over her. She proved to be much more difficult to handle than he had initially thought since he did everything for her and he had gestured for the knife she had and mistook it for him wanting her to stab his hand. There was definitely a communication barrier between them and he needed to solve that so they could communicate more easily.

He eventually finished cleaning her up and her once dirtied body and hair were now stainless - he hoped so at least - and she had rather flawless skin and a beautiful shade of blonde hair. He did not care about it though as he now had to put her clothes on, now he hoped she would learn how to do it herself. He may have experienced traumatic events probably a day ago but that didn't mean he still couldn't process things clearly through his mind and have the decency to avoid looking at her naked body even if she was a child.

Once the hassle that was putting on her clothes done he too did the same, though he just mostly washed himself off with the clothes own uncaring if it got wet. He sighed, he wasn't really experienced at living in the wild but he had knowledge and read about it at one point in his life so he could at least do the basics... probably.

He eventually led her back when the sun began to set and the moon would eventually rise. Today was spent mostly searching around for supplies or anything they could use which took a long time, killing the deer and hunting the fish in another river nearby, now he had to make sure they could actually sleep well enough inside their temporary residence. He hoped it was temporary at least.

He led her back to the house and eventually the sun had set much earlier than he had anticipated so he had to find a room for them or her to sleep in. Unfortunately there weren't that many rooms in the house in the first place that weren't collapsed or not suitable for sleeping in. So when he finally checked the last room he saw the bedroom for whoever used to live here in better condition than he had expected.

Since there wasn't much cleaning up he had to do to the room he brought her to the bed and pointed at it hoping that it was enough for her to understand. It was not so he had sighed and went down with one arm at her knees and the other on her upper body. With a lift she was off the ground and she was in his hands not complaining not moving, opting to only stare at him.

He set her down on the bed and grabbed a blanket and used it to cover her, even then she had no idea why she was in the bed and he doubted she knew what she was supposed to do. He brought his hand to her eyelids and closed them and watched as she didn't make a move to open them again.

He left the room and continued to set up the house to be in a more livable condition and prepared for everything to do the next day as he spent the rest of the night awake.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

The girl awoke tiredly, she did not know what she was feeling right now but she got off of the bed and looked around for the boy. There were no traces of him so she went towards the entrance of the house and saw him asleep on the ground as he was propped up against the wall and everything they had brought with them had been organized. She didn't know what to do until then so she decided to sit next to him and go asleep, this way when he woke up he would also wake her up, removing the need to wait for him.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

She was correct, when Shirou had awoken he did not expect her to be sleeping next to him and he stood up and accidentally letting her head drop on the wooden floor with a thud. He quickly looked down and saw her and saw she was slowly beginning to wake up, when she did she rubbed her eyes to remove the annoying blurriness and saw the auburn haired boy.

Shirou only sighed at her yet he still slightly smiled at her, he was going to have to make her express some emotions too. What was she? A newly hatched hen? He was doing everything for her at this point, yet he did not mind. This was the least he could do to atone for himself.

So the days they spent on what Shirou had learned was an island would be uneventful and the with Shirou doing everything, he was beginning to teach his language and writing to her so they could more easily understand each other. Especially if she barely expressed herself what so ever. He needed something to work with. He sighed as he drew a picture of a flower, wrote the kanji next to it, and slowly pronounced it too her.

At this point he learned that making her express emotions was already difficult enough since there wasn't an exact way to describe the emotion, only the feeling that would come with the emotion. Yet she felt nothing.

He watched as she slowly tried to pronounce the words after him, it took her a while before she started to use her vocal cords. The first word he taught her was his name, if she ever needed him she just had to say his name and he would be there for her. It was hard since she barely knew how to use her vocal cords but they made it to the point where she said her first word.

It took way longer than he had anticipated and it wasn't the correct way to say his name either, she would call him "Shero" but it was better than nothing he supposed. They had nothing to do on the island anyway. It wasn't like she used his name much in the first place.

But he needed something to call her, a name to get her attention, a name to identify she too was a person. He checked his mind for every possible name and because of it he thought of Sakura. He couldn't hide the pain in his eyes as he continued to think about the girl in front of him. What was a temporary name he could give her, at least for the moment.

When he could think of none he looked around his surroundings to at least get an idea while she continued to pronounce flower. Yes, yes that's it! A flower! But what flower? There were a large array of flowers and each held it's own meaning.

He continued to ponder in thought as he felt a breeze through that came through the door. He sighed, how could he forget to close the door? That's when he saw it, a flower that stood out from the rest. He went inside and grabbed a flower pot they had taken but had no use of, now it had a use.

With a small shovel he gently as possibly tried to extract the flower and the dirt it was rooted in and placed both the dirt and flower into the flower pot. Yes, her name would be Violet, at least for now.

He went back inside and saw the girl staring at the paper now instead of pronouncing the word. He approached her and tapped her shoulder with his right hand which still had the bandage on and was still healing rather quickly. She looked up at him and saw his small smile as he offered it too her, he then pointed at her, "Violet." He said it as slowly as possible and watched as she tried her best to say the words.

What came out was closer than he expected on her first try, "Vioet." He place it down in front of her and smiled fondly at her, she was beginning to remind him of Miyu...

His brows creased into a frown immediately and she learned that this meant that something was wrong, something was off, or something he disapproved of. She learned this quickly she he did this very often and awoke sweating and panting for breath.

She tugged on the remains of his tattered sleeve and his attention was now on her and she did something she saw him do when he was proud or happy as he said at least.

The smile she made wasn't even close as she had to use even her fingers to pull her mouth up into a smile. He supposed it was the thought that counts and rubbed her head the same way he did with Miyu. Memories came back and assaulted his mind but he still smiled, even if it began to waver and she stared at him.

Soon months began to pass, she began to speak small sentences and soon began to be able to understand him whenever he spoke and he hated the feeling he felt within his chest when he watched on with a smile. He eventually began to grow afraid, he didn't want to lose anyone else, it was already painful enough living in failure from his past actions or rather lack or action. He could have done more, he would always tell himself this.

The now named Violet accepted her name happily, he thought so at least, and she began to learn more and more and would occasionally ask questions about emotions, she thought of them as a mystery. There was always a feeling in her chest, whether it be happy or sad, curiosity or apathy, she was always feeling something and she began to grow annoyed at the feeling.

He told her it was normal, everyone would feel the emotion at some point in their life. She still didn't understand him since she was still a child and tried to ignore them but they would occasionally emerge every now and again.

Eventually the day had come, when something good happens something bad follows. He supposed that was happening this very day.

While both he and Violet were exploring they came across a ship, or more specifically a ship that was heading straight towards the island and it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon, especially with the stormy weather and harsh waves that slammed on the beach. Well the ship was going to slam on the beach also. He grabbed Violet and led her away from the soon to be crash site and ran into the forest with her following behind him.

They watched from a distance, the sizable ship soon made contact with land and it was now for the most part now beached. They then watched as a multitude of people began to pour out but one stood out from the rest. He possess long jet-black hair tied into a braid with a blue ribbon and green eyes, like lime or emerald, he was a man of tall stature, had a thin waist, and broad shoulders. Under his eyes were lined that Shirou once possessed when he was older and under his left eye was a small mole. He seemed also seemed far more annoyed and displeased than the others since he kept rubbing the bridge of his nose.

He seemed to be the leader of the group since his outfit was also very much different than the others that had also left the ship with him.

They in comparison seemed more excitable to explore the island and search around. Some of course shared the leaders displeasure.

Already the more excitable bunch of the group had ran off towards Shirou's and Violet's location causing the leader to run after them and yell at them to come back, though they were a large distance apart.

Soon the excitable bunch arrived towards their location before Shirou could bring Violet away and stared at them, or more specifically Violet with lust. He found himself disgusted by them since they were looking at a child such a way but he wouldn't attack them unless they provoked them.

It was already too late. The leader arrived too late and he looked on surprised that there were two children on an island that looked deserted, he was annoyed as is and was just going to ignore them for the moment but the group had other plans.

They all approached her and some already began to feel her up, a child no less, but Violet didn't look like she was going to attack, not yet at least. "Hey, girly! Heh, if you didn't know we're apart of the navy!" The first guy was already beginning to bring his hand to high when he touched her leg.

The leader made to tell them to drop it, yet it wasn't needed. Shirou instantly beheaded the man as a sword appeared in his hand as he stared at them with nothing but coldness in his eyes. The jet-black haired man was stunned as more of his crew mates arrived and witnessed what happened next.

The group who tried to flirt with Violet were instantly killed, be it painful or painless it had the same end result. That was all that mattered. The men were terrified so the did the one thing their brain told them to do. Run. And run they did, Shirou made no move to follow after them, they weren't the ones who were going to rape Violet in the first place, it was a warning to anyone who would have such thoughts.

Violet though seemed to have other thoughts and the knife that Shirou had first given her was now wielded and she chased after them, hunting down and killing them. He could already hear some of the blood curdling screams as some of them begged for mercy but died anyway.

He gave chase after Violet.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

"Those damn idiots!" Dietfried Bougainvillea shouted as he too ran away like his men did, he thought he knew his men better than that, that they wouldn't stoop so low. He was wrong, now they were being hunted because of their actions. She was fast, much faster than he expect for a child her age, he would occasionally run past a dead body of a crew mate, she was also dangerous, more dangerous than a child should be in the first place.

Eventually he met a small group of his men and they all silently agreed on the course of action, they would kill the child.

If you don't know why I made this story it's also so I could take a break from writing Fate: Awakening and write something more enjoyable for myself. That and so I could satisfy my urges, manly my writers block and lack of enjoyment in life.

Anyway I hope you enjoy this new installation I made into my ever growing list of story's that aren't finished and as I took a break.

If you also haven't know my birthday is on September 9th so I'm celebrating early by making story's to celebrate early and give me some more motivation to get back into writing. It's rather awkward since I'm giving you "gifts" instead of the other way around but I'm more than happy seeing everyone's reviews saying they enjoyed my story. That's more than enough for me because the new chapters I publish and positive reviews I receive is already making me smile knowing I'm glad to actually be here, writing story's for everyone. It's already a gift in it's own way.

Update - I don't want to go back to classes, if I have an hour to live I would go there because it feels like an eternity! That and I have no friends, I'm a loner, oof! I'm smacked myself right there!

Update - Ever have dreams of very specific things and you eventually do them in the future? Yea that happens to me a lot and even as I write this chapter I had a dream about this. It's both amazing and weird, the mind works in an unexplainable way.

Update - Learned the language people in Violet Evergarden speak and write in is actually Nunkish if I did my research right.

Update - Technically the good guys win in my version of Oath Under Snow since they were or at least Angelica was trying to stop Shirou from destroying the world all for Miyu. So, yeah, he's technically the bad guy I guess, even in canon.

Update - Looks like I stayed up till 5:00 AM again...
