A/N: Okay first so this is a stand alone book that goes more into depth about my OC's backstory. It won't be related to any of my other books. I decided to do more than just a prologue and do a full story with it. Some things will be a little different and changed to help things along in the story. I have gotten inspiration from shows I have watched for the wolf species and their abilities. Chapter One: Prologue
*Narration*
"Long ago there were many elemental wolves who lived in peace with one and another. Wolves who could control elements such as ice, water, sand, earth and fire and then rarer wolves who could control things of ascestral porportions such as moonlight. Some even spoke of such wolves having connections to spirits. Things were well during this time until some wolves began to think they deserved more than others and felt they had a right to certain lands. When this happened it broke out a huge fight among all wolf kind. This had caused the species to begin separating to keep their kind safe from the fighting. This had even caused rumors among wolves that those who had a certain eye color had connections to the spirits were dangerous and that some could not be trusted. Much has changed over those years and that is no accepting when it comes to the birth of pups like Alexis." ~ Narrator says.
*Narration Over*
"She's simply beautiful Luna." A female grey wolf says as she is looking at Alexis laying down with a female black wolf with green eyes.
"Thank you Serena." Luna
"You did wonderful daughter. Your mate Ash will be proud." A male black wolf says as he walks over.
"I hope so dad. She looks different from our own kind but I don't care. I heard about white wolves. To me that just makes her more special." Luna says as she licks Alexis happily causing her to yawn and open her eyes.
"Sister look." Serena says as she, Asher and Luna look at Alexis's eyes.
"Her eyes. They're purple." Luna says in surprise.
"That's not normal." Serena says.
"And it's not good. You know what they've said about wolves with abnormal eye color. There hasn't been one in years. Especially not with purple eyes." Luna says worriedly.
"Hmm. I will look into this. For now she is to be protected." Asher says as Luna nods.
"Yes father." Luna says.
*Timeskip 3 Years*
"Hurry mom hurry!" Alexis shouts as she is running in the woods.
"Alexis slow down dear. I'm coming." Luan says as she is following closely behind Alexis.
"There it is mom." Alexis says as she and Luna see the deer herd in a field nearby.
"Well you're tracking is definitely getting better. So is your fighting skills." Luna says as she smiles proudly.
"Does that mean I can come with you and dad on patrol?" Alexis asks.
"Oh well sweetheart I don't think that's a good idea." Luna says nervously.
"Please mom?" Alexis asks as she acts cute to try and persuade Luna.
"No Alexis." Luna says sternly.
"You never let me do anything fun." Alexis says annoyedly as Luna looks at her.
"Sweetie you're just a pup. Your job is staying safe. If something happened to you I don't know what I'd do. You're very special. You know that." Luna says.
"I hate being special. It's no fun." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Yeah. Being a pup is no fun sometimes. But I'll tell you what. I'll take you on a hunt instead." Luna says as she smiles.
"Really?" Alexis asks happily as she wags her tail.
"Really." Luna says as she chuckles.
"You're the best!" Alexis shouts happily as she begins nuzzling Luna's chest.
"Hey that tickles." Luna says as Alexis stops nuzzling her and steps sway from her sniffing around.
"Mom what's that smell?" Alexis asks as she sniffs the air curiously.
"What smell? What do you smell?" Luna asks worriedly.
"It's smell metallic." Alexis says as she sniffs the air as Luna walks over to her.
"Blood. Oh no!" Luna says as she sniffs the air and gives an alarmed and fearful look.
"What's going on mom? Why do I hear fighting?" Alexis asks curiously as she looks at Luna
"Sweetie I need to get you out of here right now." Luna says worriedly as she looks around.
"But mom I wanna stay and help fight." Alexis says as she snarls annoyedly.
"No buts." Luna says as she begins to pick Alexis up before stopping hearing someone coming.
"Luna!" A voice shouts revealing to be a blood covered Serena.
"Serena!" Luna shouts in alarm.
"Get out of here. Go! Dad and your mate Ash are trying to hold the packs leader off. They're looking for Alexis." Serena says as she then collapses as Alexis and Luna go over to her.
"You're hurt really bad aunt Serena." Alexis says as she nuzzles Serena.
"It's okay pup. I'm fine." Serena says as she nuzzles Alexis weakly.
"Serena!" Luna says fearfully as Serena coughs up blood.
"I'm sorry. I tried to fight back. They were too strong." Serena says weakly as she drops her head to the ground before Luna nudges her in attempt to get a reaction.
"Serena? Serena! No!" Luna shouts fearfully as she begins crying seeing Serena has gone motionless.
"Mom what's going on? Why is our pack being attacked." Alexis asks as she looks at Luna.
"Sweetie our pack is being attacked because there are wolves looking for you. You're very special and many wolves wanna hurt you because of this. I need to get you out of here." Luna says sadly as she then picks up Alexis much to her annoyance.
"But I wanna stay!" Alexis says as she tries to get loose from Luna with no luck.
"Not up for debate. Hold on Ash. I'll be there as soon as I can." Luna says as she runs off with Alexis.
*Timeskip*
"This looks far enough. Now you stay here and as soon as you feel safe enough you are to run. Never come back here. It's far too dangerous for a young pup like you now." Luna says as she comes to a stop in a forest are and places Alexis by a bush.
"But mom I don't want you to leave. Please don't leave me." Alexis says sadly.
"I know but there is no other way." Luna says sadly.
"Please." Alexis says sadly as she begins crying before Luna gives her a sad look and nuzzles her.
"Alexis no matter what happens to the pack and I you must not come back and always remember who you are outside and inside your heart, spirit, soul, and mind. And you must not let the wolf that is attacking us and the rest of his pack find you and gain your powers. For they are rare and will make you a powerful wolf. And know this and remember it well you will always be my child and your father and I love you more than we could ever show or say. We are very proud of you. Even though we won't be together anymore the pack as well as your father and I will always be there to guide you whenever you need us. We will be there with you always. Be strong and stay safe young one." Luna says.
"Yes mom." Alexis says reluctantly.
"Good girl. Now run!" Luna says as Alexis reluctantly nods and runs off.
