As the organ played, the door of the church opened, and a beautiful and radiant young woman entered the church arm-in-arm with her father. She was wearing a pearl-colored gown embroidered with beautiful flowers and a pearl adornment in her blond hair. The groom was nervous but spellbound, for he had never seen his bride so beautiful.

In the front row, the Darcys and their children watched the ceremony with great emotion. Of the four children that Elizabeth had with Darcy, three boys aged twenty-one, eighteen, and fifteen, and a girl aged twelve, all of them were very happy to see their beloved Uncle John marry their cousin Miss Elliot.

Ever since Georgiana's eldest daughter, Marianne Elliot, was born twenty years ago, John had been fascinated by the beautiful girl. Over the years, and with the good example of Darcy and Elizabeth, John became an excellent master and an honorable man. Sandstone was once again as prosperous as it had been when his parents were alive, and in part that was due to the good administration and care of the Darcys. On the other hand, Longbourn remained leased, and for several years part of the profits was destined to increase the dowries of the children of Kitty and Jane.

After John finished his studies at the university, he fully assumed his role as master of Sandstone. When Marianne Elliot entered society at the age of eighteen, several gentlemen had an interest in courting her. As well as being pretty and intelligent, she also had a £30,000 dowry. After more than a year of courting, Marianne finally said yes to his marriage proposal.

In the second row were Georgiana Elliot and her youngest daughter very excited. Georgiana and Jason Elliot had a happy and harmonious marriage.

In the third row was Richard Fitzwilliam with his beloved Mary and their two children. They had a very happy marriage and they complemented each other perfectly. Lady Catherine had died five years before and bequeathed her entire dowry to Mary, whom over the years she came to love as her own daughter.

In the fourth row was Robert Elliot with Kitty and their three daughters. Of the Bennet sisters, Kitty was without a doubt the one that had changed the most over the years. She was a compassionate, sweet, and even sensible woman. Whit them was Miss Taylor, whom Kitty loved as if she were her mother, and she would be forever grateful for everything she did for her.

The Barringtons were invited, but because they were not close to the Darcys or the Elliots, they did not attend. They had three children, two girls and one boy.

Due to Mr. Gardiner's health, the Gardiners and Mrs. Bennet didn't attend the wedding. Over the years, Mrs. Bennet was invited to Pemberley on a few occasions and was able to fulfill her dream of seeing Johnny grow up, but simply in the role of aunt.

Like every night since they had been married, after making love, Lizzy was lying on her husband's chest while Darcy caressed her hair which now had a few gray hairs.

"What are you thinking, my love?" Lizzy asked her husband.

Darcy smiled and replied, "On you, and how fortunate I am to have you in my life. I hope John is as happy as we are."

"I'm sure it will be like that. John has been in love with Marianne for so many years, and Marianne just needed time to realize John is a wonderful man."

"Ummm, I think I know a story very similar to the two of them." Darcy responded with a tender kiss and added, "Have I told you that with each passing day I fall more in love with you? I am sure that if I lived a thousand years, I would never get tired of telling you that I love you.
