Stories are not always told once and in this case, it will be told another way.
"We're here live on the scene here where giant monsters are fiercely attacking the city-"
Behind the camera woman two flying creatures soared into view, growing closer behind the reporter. "Cindy look out!"
The reporter screamed as she and the camera man ducked. "Sorry!" yelled Stinkfly as he flew past them, frantically trying to keep distance between him and one of Animo's mutant birds. Gwen would probably know exactly what kind of bird this was before it mutated.
Speaking of Gwen. "Lucky Girl, how are you doing over there?" he asked into the comms, dodging as the eagle barely missed a bite of Stinkfly.
"What do you think?" Gwen grunted as she used the Charm of Telekinesis to fly above the giant mutant hamsters. "I'd rather switch places."
Stinkfly screamed as he almost flew into the claws of the other two birds he had out maneuvered earlier. "Trust me you don't!"
"Get here fast, I don't know if I can stop Animo with how many hamsters he has swarming everywhere!"
Stinkfly looked around, smiling as a plan formed. "Be there in a jiffy!"
"Ben, don't think of doing anything dangerous," Grandpa Max reproached.
"Just taking a shortcut is all," Stinkfly grinned, changing course to where he last saw the herd of mutant hamsters.
"I'm warning you! It's too dangerous to change the settings!" the scientist yelled to the deaf ears of Dr. Animo.
"I will do what I must!" Dr. Animo replied, turning to the group of half-wits cornered by his creations that had planned to use their device for just observing. "I will use the prehistoric might of the dinosaurs to show everyone what my creations can do."
"Anything past observing is-"
"SILENCE!"
A loud impact outside that could only be described as a deafening cacophony of crunching metal, wailing car alarms and, screeching animals drew his attention away from his captive audience. Suspicious, he squinted as he adjusted his goggles to see the source of whoever disturbed the hamsters he had set up to guard. Two familiar figures broke through the cloud of dust.
"Spanner and Lucky Girl! I should have known." He turned to the device and hastened his work.
The front doors crashed open as he began to warm up the device. "Give it up Animo!"
Animo whipped to the intrepid duo constantly foiling his plans. "Silence! Catch them my pets!"
Just as he was about to turn back, he was aware of a quick blur that passed by his vision, hitting the panel. It slammed into a button that was right next to the "off" switch. After a moment of shielding himself from the sparks that flew he saw what it was: a pungent pile of green sticky goop. "What did you do?" he yelled furiously at the meddling duo. Dr. Animo turned back to the device, frantically trying to adjust the settings but he knew it was too late and the ground suddenly shaking only confirmed his fears.
"Grandpa, what's going on?" Gwen asked him over the comms.
"I'm getting some readings I haven't seen before," Max said. "Get out of there now!"
"I don't think we can we're occupied with thes-"
A sickening tear of metal followed by the screams of Stinkfly and Gwen was the last thing he heard before the line went dead.
"Ben! Gwen!"
Author's Note: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd queue a mashup of the theme songs!
Also those who get where the first line comes from, nice! (Think Season 2 - Gwen 10 episode)
Both Miraculous and this version of the OS Ben 10 are currently in their third season before the final episodes. I don't have any specifics on when other than it would probably be sometime mid season if a timeline was put in front of me.
