Author's Note: This is going to be a rewrite of my Young Justice fanfic since I deleted my old one due to unnecessary reviews about incest which was not true in that story. So hopefully this time it will be okay.

Blue Jay
Chapter 1: Independence Day
Gotham City
July 4th, 12:00 AM
Freeze was attacking picnickers in Gotham City park that were trying to peacefully enjoy themselves in the federal holiday.
Many of the civilians were running away in fear only to get frozen by Freeze.
One family stared at the cliff that Freeze was standing on in shock.
"Enjoying family time?"the villain questioned rhetorically and freezes the family. "My family has other plans."
Freeze slides down the cliff and activated his gun as he took aim at the running citizens of Gotham.
Suddenly a batarang was thrown towards Freeze and hit the side of the gun, saving the remaining civilians.
"Batman."Freeze retorted. "I was wondering when-"
Freeze turned around, only to find no one where the batarang was thrown to.
The villian suddenly hears two laughters echoing around him as he looked around the park.
From above, a male figure lands on Freeze and knocks him into the ground.
Then a female figure landed next to Robin and threw two blue birdarangs at Freeze's helmet, cracking it.
It was Robin and Blue Jay.
Robin wore a red vest held closed by three yellow rectangular fasteners, black leggings, boots and gloves. On the left side of his chest he had a yellow stylised 'R' symbol in a black circle and around his waist, he wore a yellow utility belt with pouches for his various equipment. He wore a black domino mask and a cape over his shoulders that was black on the outside and pale yellow on the inside.
Blue Jay wore a pale blue shirt, a high collar and a darker hem, a blue skirt with a white and black pattern along the hem and sides, a belt with a blue bird shaped buckle that contained her equipment and dark blue boots. There was a blue hairband on her dark chocolate brown hair, a blue stylised domino mask that covered her eyes and on her hands were fingerless black gloves.
Freeze glared at the two pre-teens.
"Oh. Boy and Girl Wonder."Freeze muttered. "The Bat sent you two to drag me off to prison. Frankly, I'm underwhelmed."
Freeze stood back up, aiming his ice gun at Robin and Blue Jay.
"Great, but we're kinda in a hurry here!"Robin snapped.
"Can you make this quick?"Blue Jay questioned.
"Kids."Freeze said in amusement and the gun began buzzing to life. "Always in such a rush."
"Not talking to you."Robin replied in a sing-song tone.
Freeze became confused causing Blue Jay to smirk and point behind him.
Then Batman arrived and hits Freeze's face with a flying punch, breaking the glass of his helmet.

JULY 4, 14:00
The Hall of Justice
Before the Hall of Justice stood Batman, Robin, Blue Jay, Green Arrow, Speedy, Aquaman and Aqualad.
Batman placed a hand on Robin and Blue Jay's shoulders and looked down at them.
"Today's the day."Batman declared with a hint of pride.
Robin and Blue Jay looked at each other before smiling.
"Welcome to the Hall of Justice."Green Arrow continued.
"Headquarters of the Justice League."Aquaman finished.
"Oh, man!"Kid Flash's voice cried out.
Batman, Robin, Blue Jay, Green Arrow, Speedy, Aquaman and Aqualad turn away from the Hall, just time to see Flash and Kid Flash arrive.
"I knew we'd be the last ones here!"Kid Flash complained and crossed his arms.
Flash smirked and raised an eyebrow behind his cowl.
Kid Flash, Aqualad, Robin, Blue Jay and Speedy started walking torwards the Hall of Justice with Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Batman following from behind.
Blue Jay bit her lip as she looked at the building in front of them causing Robin to look at her.
"You okay?"Robin asked.
"Yeah."Blue Jay answered with a small smile. "I'm just feeling a little anxious about seeing inside. I told my mum about it but-"
Robin placed his hand onto Blue Jay's and gave it a gentle squeeze.
"It will be alright, Jay."Robin whispered. "Don't worry."
"I hope your right, Robin."Blue Jay replied quietly.
As the seven heroes walked towards the Hall of Justice, a crowd of fans took photographs of them and others talked to each other.
"Is that Batman?"
"I see Flash and Flash Jr."
"His name is Speedy. Duh."
"No, Speedy is Green Arrow's sidekick."
"Well that makes no sense."
Green Arrow looked Speedy.
"Ready to see the inner sanctum?"Green Arrow asked.
"Born that way."Speedy responded.
"I'm glad we're all here."Aqualad commented.
Kid Flash looked at Robin and Blue Jay.
"Have all five sidekicks ever been at the same place at the same time?"Kid Flash questioned.
"Don't call us sidekicks."Speedy growled lightly. "Not after today."
"Sorry."Kid Flash apologised. "First time at the Hall. I'm a little overwhelmed."
"You're overwhelmed, Freeze was underwhelmed."Robin said. "Why isn't anybody ever just whelmed?"
The doors to the Hall of Justice opened up for the heroes and they saw huge bronze statues of the initial Justice League members.
Blue Jay looked at the statues in awe and leaned towards Robin a little bit.
"That's probably why."Blue Jay whispered with a hint of excitement.
The heroes arrived at a large door with 'AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY' written on it.
It slide open, revealing Martian Manhunter and Red Tornado, a human sized red robot.
The two step out of the hallway and into where the cameras can see them.
"Robin, Blue Jay, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash."Martian listed them off in order, his voice calm but monotonic and formal. "Welcome."
Martian turned around, leading the heroes inside.
Robin and Kid Flash, fist bump with each other as they begin to follow Martian with the others.
"You now have unlimited access to the gym, our fully stocked gallery and of course our library."Martian stated.
The door opened revealing a massive library with massive computer and extensive amounts of books.
"Make yourselves at home."Flash insisted.
Aqualad, Robin and Kid Flash sat down in the three seats that were there.
Blue Jay sat on the left armrest of Robin's chair while Speedy stood standing.
"Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of four Ice Villains attacking on the same day."Batman declared and turned to the five teens. "We shouldn't be long."
Then Batman turned to another door and a fisheye camera pops out.
"Recognise: Batman; 0-2, Aquaman; 0-6, Flash; 0-4."the Fisheye Camera said."Green Arrow; 0-8, Martian Manhunter; 0-7, Red Tornado; 1-6."
The camera illuminates before opening the door that said 'JUSTICE LEAGUE MEMBERS ONLY'.
"That's it?"Speedy asked angrily, catching all of the men's attention. "You promised a real look inside not a glorified backstage pass."
"It's a first step."Aquaman responded calmly. "You've been granted access few others get."
"Oh really?"Speedy questioned and gestured up to a group of people taking pictures on the other side of soundproof glass. "Who cares which side of the glass we're on?"
"Roy, you just need to be patient."Green Arrow instructed.
"What I need is respect."Speedy growled before turning around to take a look at his fellow companions. "They're treating us like kids. Worse! Like sidekicks!"
Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad exchange looks with each other before looking back at Speedy.
Speedy looked at his comrades in disbelief.
"You're kidding right? You're playing their game?"Speedy asked angrily. "Why?! Today was supposed to be theday! Step one in becoming full-fledged members of the League!"
"Well, sure."Kid Flash spoke up. "But I thought step one was a tour of the HQ."
"Except the Hall isn't the League's real HQ!"Speedy retorted in anger.
Kid Flash's in shock, Robin's paired with surprise, Blue Jay's mouth dropped open and Aqualad had his accompanied with confusion.
"I bet they never told you that it was just a front for tourists and a pit stop to catching Zeta-beam tubes to the real thing!"Speedy scowled. "An orbiting satellite called the Watchtower!"
Green Arrow glanced at Batman, who glared at him.
"I know, I know."Green Arrow responded. "But I thought we could make an exception."
Batman continues to glare.
"Or not."Green Arrow added.
Aquaman looked at Speedy.
"You are not helping your cause here, son."Aquaman said. "Stand down or..."
"Or what? You'll send me to my room? AndI'm not your son."Speedy answered and glared at Green Arrow. "I'm not even his. I thought I was his partner. But not anymore."
Speedy took off his cap and threw it on the ground before walking away as Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad watched in shock.
"Guess they were right about you four."Speedy muttered. "Your not ready."
Speedy stormed out of the room causing the double steel doors to be slammed shut behind him.
Suddenly an alarm began blaring from the computer and Superman's face appeared on the screen.
"Superman to Justice League."Superman reported. "There has been an explosion at Project Cadmus. It's on fire."
Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Batman all step up to the computer.
"I've had my suspicions about Cadmus."Batman admitted. "This may present the perfect opportunity to in-"
Batman was interrupted as another alarm comes through and a small screen in the lower right which revealed to be Zatara.
"Zatara to Justice League."Zatara responded. "The sorcerer Wotan is using the Amulet of Attan to blot out the Sun. Requesting full League response."
"Superman?"Batman asked.
"It's a small fire."Superman assured. "Local authorities have it under control."
"Then Cadum can wait."Batman declared and presses a key on the massive keyboard below. "All Leaguers rendezvous at Zatara's coordinates. Batman out."
Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad step up to their mentors.
"Stay put."Batman stated, barely even looking at them before he gives his order.
"What?"Robin questioned in shock. "Why?"
"This is a League mission."Aquaman responded.
"You're not trained..."Flash started.
"Since when?"Kid Flash snapped with a glare.
"I meant you're not trained to work as a part of this team."Flash finished.
"There will be other missions, when you're ready."Aquaman stated calmly.
"But for now, stay put."Batman instructed and glared at the end to accent his point.
Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad became sad, but as their mentors walk away, anger comes over their faces.
Green Arrow looked at Martian.
"Glad you didn't, bring you-know-who."Green Arrow declared.
"Indeed."Martian agreed rapidly.
Green Arrow and Martian walk in behind Aquaman, Batman and Flash, but Red Tornado looked at the four young heroes for a moment before following.
Then the door closed, leaving Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad on their own.
"When we're ready?"Kid Flash scoffed. "How are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us like..."
"Sidekicks?"Blue Jay guessed.
"Exactly!"Kid Flash growled as he stepped forward and throwing his hands up.
"My mentor, my King, I thought he trusted me."Aqualad said sadly.
"Trust?"Kid Flash questioned sarcastically. "They don't even trust us with the basics! They've got a secret HQ in space!"
"What else aren't they telling us?"Aqualad questioned.
Robin sighed. "I have a better question. Why didn't we leave with Speedy?"
Blue Jay frowned as she walked up to the computer while Kid Flash crossed his arms in annoyance and Aqualad looked down sadly.
"What is Project Cadmus?"Aqualad asks slowly.
"Don't know."Robin replied.
"But we can find out."Blue Jay declared with a small smirk.
Blue Jay started typing on the computer to look for information as Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad walked up to her.
The computer buzzed.
"Access Denied."the automated voice stated.
"We'll see about that."Blue Jay sneered.
Blue Jay pressed a few more buttons before she started looking through codes of the files at nearly lightspeed.
"Whoa."Kid Flash murmured in surprise. "How are you doing that?"
Blue Jay smiled as she hit two more keys.
"Same system as the Batcave."Robin replied smugly.
"Yep."Blue Jay agreed and hits one last key.
"Access Granted."the automated voice responded.
The computer began showing a two story complex and all the data showing up around it.
"Project Cadmus."Blue Jay read. "Genetics lab here in DC."
"That's all there is, but if Batman's suspicious…"Robin started and then smirked. "Maybe we should investigate."
"Solve their case before they do."Aqualad finished with a small smile. "It would be poetic justice."
"Hey."Robin chuckled. "They're all about justice."
Blue Jay giggled a little as she downloaded the coordinates.
"But they said 'stay put'."Aqualad reminded.
"For the blotting out the sun mission, not this."Robin sneered and placed his hands on his hips.
"Here are the coordinates."Blue Jay stated.
Robin nodded at Blue Jay and Kid Flash looked at them.
"Wait, are you two going to Cadmus?"Kid Flash questioned and smiled."Because if you two are going, I'm going!"
Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay smirked before turning to Aqualad.
"Just like that?"Aqualad asked. "We're a team on a mission?"
Blue Jay looked at the hologram of the coordinates from her small blue mini laptop.
"Well, we didn't come for a play date."Blue Jay remarked.
Aqualad smirked in determination.
When Blue Jay told where the coordinates were, Kid Flash immediately speed off with out his companions.
Kid Flash arrived to the location and arrived just in time to save two scientists, who were falling out of a building and tossed them on to the roof.
However Kid Flash falls and managed to catch himself on the second story window ledge that the two scientists just fell from.
"It's what's-his-name, Flashboy!"One of the firefighters yelled.
"Kid Flash!"Kid Flash yelled down and murmured. "Why is that so hard?"
Aqualad, Robin and Blue Jay arrived to the area.
"So smooth."Robin said smugly.
Robin and Blue Jay flipped onto the back of the fire truck, securing their grappling hooks to the Tower Ladder and swinging onto the window ledge.
Robin pulled Kid Flash up while Blue Jay went over to the computer in order to hack into it.
Aqualad arrived inside the building after he helped bring the two scientists safely back on the ground.
"Appreciate the help."Aqualad said sarcastically.
"You handled it. Besides we're here to investigate."Robin reminded with a smirk and looked at Blue Jay. "How's it going, Jay?"
"Great, Robin."Blue Jay stated and the files in the computer were finished downloading into her mini laptop. "And it's done."
Blue Jay placed away her mini laptop as Aqualad walked into the hallway.
Aqualad spotted a figure with blue skin and a ivory horn protruding from it's head in the elevator.
The clang of the closing elevator doors caused Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay to rush behind Aqualad.
"There was something in the-"Aqualad started.
"Elevators should be locked down."Kid Flash commented.
Robin rushed to the area of the elevator with Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad following closely.
"This is wrong."Robin stated as he checked at the holoscreen on his gauntlet. "This is a high-speed express elevator. It doesn't belong in a two-story building."
Blue Jay looked at the hologram on Robin's gauntlet as Aqualad walked up to the elevator doors.
"Neither does what I saw."Aqualad states gravely.
Aqualad made the elevator doors open and looked down the elevator shaft, which seems to go on forever.
Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay looked at the bottomless elevator shaft.
"A 182 Story Capacity elevator?"Blue Jay questioned.
"And that's why they need an express elevator."Robin replied as he stood up.
Blue Jay shoot up her grappling hook into the top of the column.
Once it sticked, Robin and Blue Jay jumped into the elevator shaft as Aqualad and Kid Flash follow after them with almost no hesitance.
Robin and Blue Jay watched as the level numbers run past them.
After passing SL25, they arrived at their stop known as SL26.
"At the end of the rope."Blue Jay announced quietly.
Aqualad and Kid Flash stopped sliding down in order to let Robin and Blue Jay jump to the narrow platform with this level's elevator doors.
Once all four of them were safely on the platform, Robin went on his gauntlet to bypass the security in the area.
"By passing security."Robin said and waited as his five little robin heads go from red to green in the hologram. "There. Go."
Aqualad pried the door open for Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and himself to walk out the elevator shaft.
"Welcome to Project Cadmus."Robin said.
Kid Flash smiled before bolting away.
"Kid, wait!"Aqualad protested.
Suddenly the sounds of heavy footsteps in the hallway that cuts across the one Kid Flash was running in and forces him to skid.
However, Kid Flash didn't stop in time, falling into the hallway as massive creatures that walk on all fours, but stood nearly as tall as the hallway walk down in two rows.
Kid Flash quickly ran back across where Robin, Blue Jay and Aqualad stood.
Robin, Blue Jay, Aqualad and Blue Jay stared at the passing creatures in shock.
One growls at them, but there was also a smaller one on top of it's massive trunked head.
The smaller one hissed and it's horns glow red as the larger one continued to walk away.
"No."Aqualad spoke up. "Nothing odd going on here."
Robin, Blue Jay, Aqualad and Kid Flash began walking through hallway after hallway until they got to a door that didn't open automatically.
Robin started to hack it using his gauntlet while Kid Flash, Aqualad and Blue Jay lent against a wall.
Then the door's center before them goes from red to yellow to green before it fully unlocked.
Within the room that was locked were towering rows of bug-like creatures, giving off electrical pulses that seemed to go through a generator in the wall before them, but was nearly 20 feet off the ground.
"Okay, I'm officially whelmed."Robin replied.
"This is how they hide this massive underground facility from the world."Kid Flash responded as they walked between the towering rows. "The real Cadmus isn't on the grid. It generates it's own power with these… things. Must be what they're bred for."
"Even the name is a clue."Aqualad added. "The Cadmus of myth created a new race by sowing dragon's teeth into the Earth."
"And this Cadmus creates new life too."Robin stated and looked at Blue Jay. "Jay, think you can download some files on this?"
"Sure."Blue Jay answered with a nod.
Blue Jay stepped up to the computer that was near to one of the rows of creatures.
The brown haired girl pulled out a connector from her mini laptop to connect it to the computer.
A holoscreen appeared and began funnelling the information into Blue Jay's mini laptop.
"There is so much data on these things."Blue Jay complemented with a small frown.
"They call them Genomorphs."Robin read. "Whoa! Look at the stats on these things. Super-strength, telepathy, razor claws. These are living weapons."
"They're engineering an army, but for who?"Kid Flash questioned.
"Wait."Robin instructed. "There's something else."
Another batch of information comes through to Blue Jay's mini laptop.
"Project Kr."Aqualad read.
"Uploading the information is too slow."Blue Jay retorted as she typed on her mini laptop. "Let's see if I can-"
"Don't move!"A man's voice shouted.
Robin, Blue Jay, Aqualad and Kid Flash turned around and see a man arrive into the room with a squad of smaller Genomorphs growling around him.
"Wait, Robin, Blue Jay, Aqualad, Kid Flash?"the man asked.
Robin smirked at Kid Flash.
"At least he got your name right."Robin teased.
Blue Jay nudged Robin on the elbow with her free arm.
"Ow!"Robin groaned and rubbed his arm.
"Not the time, Robin."Blue Jay muttered as she quietly typed on her mini laptop with her free hand.
"I know you."Aqualad spoke up. "Guardian, a hero."
"I do my best."Guardian responded.
"Then what are you doing here?"Kid Flash asked in confusion.
"I'm Chief of Security."Guardian answered. "You're trespassing, but we can call the Justice League, figure this out."
No one says anything for a tense moment, but everyone hears the beep from Blue Jay's mini laptop that indicated her decryption process on Project Kr was complete.
"You think the League's gonna approve of you breeding weapons?"Kid Flash demanded.
"Weapons?"Guardian questioned. "What are you-"
Guardian's eyes go wide just before his G-gnome's horns began to glow.
"What have I-"Guardian started and brings his head to his temple as it falls to his chest. "Ugh, my head."
Guardian brings his hand away, but then glared hard at Robin, Blue Jay, Aqualad and Kid Flash before looking at the Genomorphs.
"Take them down hard!"Guardian ordered and pointed directly at the four teenagers. "No mercy."
Hearing Guardian's order, the growling Genomorphs jumped towards the four young heroes.
Robin gets in front of Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad before dropping a smoke bomb.
Blue Jay hits a Genomorph down with a birdarang before placing away her mini laptop.
Robin grabbed Blue Jay by the waist before shooting a grappling hook to the bottom of one of the support beams to bring them both up.
Kid Flash backed up as a Genomorph tried to slash his face.
The young Flash walked on the wall and dives at two Genomorphs with dual punches, then pushing off the opposite vertical support, executing an inverted flip and pushing off to kick on in the chest and back through the smoke.
Aqualad threw a Genomorph off his back before combating the next one coming at him with a front kick to the chest as well.
Then Guardian began attacking Aqualad and knocked him off his feet and into a crashing barrel roll, then into the plating under the insectoid Genomorphs.
Guardian charged at Aqualad again.
Aqualad stood and attempted a triple cross combo, but Guardian backed out of his range and when his following through due to the power he put behind the punch, once again leaving his left shoulder open to Guardian.
The older hero get a punch in on his face, then into the elbow that Aqualad barely manages to duck under.
Then Aqualad's tattoos glow before electricity travels through the shield and into the hero, giving him the advantage to throw Guardian to the ground.
Kid Flash and Aqualad ran through the smoke to make their escape.
Outside the room, where the alarm was blaring, Robin was hacking into one of the ports as Blue Jay stood next him.
Kid Flash make it down the hallway from the vicious Genomorphs and skidded to a stop to glare at his younger companions.
"Way to be a team player, Rob, Jay!"Kid Flash scowled.
"Weren't you right behind us?"Robin questioned.
The elevator door opened causing Robin, Blue Jay and Kid Flash to quickly rush in.
The trio watched as Aqualad continued to run from the Genomorphs.
Aqualad was able to dive into the elevator as Blue Jay pressed the button to make the elevator door close right in front of the Genomorphs.
The numbers in the elevator were going up, but this meant the four teenagers were going deeper underground.
"We're headed down?"Aqualad questioned.
Kid Flash frowned at Blue Jay.
"Dude, out is up."Kid Flash reminded and makes his point by gesturing in the above direction.
Blue Jay frowned. "You guys seriously forgot?"
"Project Kr, it's down on Sub-level 52."Robin admitted.
"This is out of control."Aqualad said as he moved to rub the back of his neck. "Perhaps...perhaps we should contact the League."
Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay stood in silence for a while until the elevator slowed and finally comes to a stop with a ding at Sub-level 52.
Aqualad, Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay get in front of the door tensed for battle, but there was nothing there.
The hallways in the area appeared to look organic which caused a look of disgust to appear in Blue Jay's face.
Robin and Blue Jay walked out of the hallway, leaving Kid Flash to turn to Aqualad.
"We are already here."Kid Flash replied.
Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad rushed to the area.
"Both hallways look the same."Blue Jay complemented.
Aqualad looked at Robin.
"Which way?"Aqualad asked.
"Yeah, bizarre-looking hallway one or bizarre-looking hallway two?"Robin questioned.
"Halt!"A anthropoid shouted.
The Anthropoid's horns glowed red as he lifted the cans telekinetically before launching them at the four teens.
Robin, Blue Jay, Kid Flash and Aqualad quickly went out of the way from being hit by the cans.
Robin throws an batarang at the Anthropoid, but he stopped it.
Robin, Blue Jay and Aqualad began running down the other hallway with Kid Flash ahead of them.
Further down, a scientist opened the door from the inside and walked out of the chamber.
Kid Flash comes around the corner at high speeds and doesn't have a chance to stop before he takes out her feet knocking her to the ground.
As he gets to his knees, Kid Flash hears the doors behind him closing and looks at the 'PROJECT Kr' label on it and how much distance the other three teens have to cross before they get to it.
Kid Flash gets to his feet and picked up a large triangular prism shaped object, dropping it to the floor and between the two flat segments of the door.
"Hurry!"Kid Flash called out.
Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay both jump through, but Aqualad takes a moment before he steps inside.
Aqualad watched Guardian and the Genomorphs come around the corner before kicking out the prop which allowed the door to be slammed closed.
Robin used his gauntlet to hack the door to engage the emergency lock.
"I disabled the door."Robin stated. "We're safe."
"We're trapped."Aqualad admitted in a dark tone.
"Oh my gosh..."Blue Jay whispered.
Blue Jay stood in front of a large computer system that was deeper in the dark chamber as Kid Flash went next to her.
"Uh, guys."Kid Flash responded nervously. "You'll want to see this."
Kid Flash pressed a button to turn all the lights on in the chamber and inside the pod that was in the center of the room.
Kid Flash, Aqualad, Robin and Blue Jay stared at the pod in utter disbelief.
"Whoa!"Robin gasped.
Inside the pod was a boy with pitch black hair, pale skin and a white suit that had Superman's S on it.
The letter's Kr were written on the glass that kept the male teen within.
Kid Flash stepped around the console to look at the boy more closer.
"Big "K", little "r", the atomic symbol for Krypton."Kid Flash said and turned back towards the other two. "Clone?"
"He must be."Blue Jay agreed.
"Robin, hack."Aqualad ordered.
"Oh. Right, right."Robin said as he plugged his connector into the console.
As it asks for a password he began the bypass program, which works and lets him in.
Kid Flash walked back to Aqualad, Robin and Blue Jay.
"Weapon Designation Superboy, a clone force-grown in…sixteen week?!"Robin read in shock. "From DNA acquired from Superman."
"Stolen from Superman."Blue Jay corrected.
"No way, the big guy knows about this."Kid Flash responded.
"Solar Suit allows him to absorb yellow-sun radiation 24/7."Robin stated.
"And these creatures?"Aqualad questioned.
Blue Jay checked the information in her mini laptop.
"Genomorph Gnomes."Blue Jay answered with a bitter tone. "Telepathic. Force feeding him an education."
"And we can guess what else."Kid Flash added. "They're making slave out of, well, Superman's son."
"Now we contact the League."Aqualad stated and reached for his emblem.
Kid Flash pressed his lightning bolts, Robin pressed his holo-glove and Blue Jay pressed her right glove.
However all of them get no respond.
"No signal."Robin verified.
"We're in too deep literally."Kid Flash commented.
"This is wrong."Kid Flash commented.
"We can't leave him like this."Robin agreed.
"I don't know about this, you guys."Blue Jay replied honestly. "But I guess we have no choice."
Kid Flash and Robin looked Aqualad.
"Set him free."Aqualad ordered. "Do it."
Robin worked on his gauntlet and inputted some codes.
Kid Flash, Blue Jay, Robin and Aqualad watched as the pod falls away from the boy.
Though the pod was gone, the boy remained calm and his hand clenches.
As the G-gnomes began to hiss again, Superboy's bright blue eyes snapped open.
Before anyone can blink, Superboy launched himself at Aqualad and tackled him to the ground and leaving Kid Flash, Robin and Blue Jay to watch the movement in shock.
Superboy began punching Aqualad in the face before Kid Flash and Robin manage to grab his arms and hold him back slightly.
"Whoa! Hang on, Supey!"Kid Flash protested and holding the Kryptonian's forearm with all his strength.
"We're on your side!"Robin added.
Kid Flash loses his fight against Superboy and gives the clone enough time to land an uppercut under the speedster's jaw.
Then Kid Flash got thrown to a display cylinder and flopped to the ground, unconscious.
"Superboy! Stop it!"Blue Jay protested in shock. "We are not the bad guys!"
Robin placed his arm around Superboy's neck and the other in his utility belt.
"I don't want to do this."Robin said and places a smoke blaster to the clone's clavicle.
The smoke blaster unleashes gas right into Superboy's face, finally getting him to stumble back and off of Aqualad.
Aqualad kicks Superboy in the stomach, which sends him into the console and to the ground before his pod.
Robin pulls out a high-voltage taser and they pin to Superboy's chest to send high amounts electricity, but they have no effect.
Superboy grabbed the wires and yanks on them and pulled Robin towards him with ease.
Robin cried out in pain as Superboy slammed him into the ground and placed his foot onto his chest.
"Leave him alone!"Blue Jay shouted in anger.
Blue Jay took out her whip and wrapped it around Superboy's neck to strangle him as she took a few steps back.
Superboy growled and moved his foot away from Robin's chest as he tried to remove the whip around his neck which was pulled by Blue Jay.
Blue Jay paled when she notice her whip slowing ripping and the next thing she knew, she felt Superboy's hand strangle her neck tightly causing her to cough out in pain.
"Enough!"Aqualad yelled out.
Aqualad pulled out his water-bearers, creating a massive hammer to knock Superboy back through the support of his pod.
Blue Jay dropped on the ground and rubbed her neck as she coughed a little before crawling up to Robin.
Aqualad rushed toward Blue Jay, who slowly helped Robin up to his knees.
Robin groaned and clutched his chest in pain before he falls onto his back, unconscious.
"Robin."Blue Jay cried worriedly. "Wake up. Please..."
Blue Jay winced when she felt the unbearable pain in her neck before collapsing next to Robin.
Aqualad stood up as they hear Superboy's heavy footfalls coming back towards them.
Aqualad puts his hand out at his opener as a sign to stop.
"We are trying to help you."Aqualad stated.
Superboy stopped moving, but doesn't stop glaring.
In an instant, Superboy tried to punch Aqualad, but he sidestepped and tackles the clone into the wall.
Superboy caught Aqualad's hand and then unleashed a strong push front kick to his stomach, forcing the Atlantean to roll to reduce the distance.
Aqualad dodged Superboy's punch, countering with a roundhouse to the stomach, which caused his body to instinctively curl in on itself and then elbow him between the shoulders.
The Atlantean gets an uppercut to Superboy's chest before the clone tried for a hook punch, which he ducked under and gets a solid strike to the kidneys.
Then Aqualad gets behind his turned back and puts his hands under Superboy's arms and behind his head before using his Atlantean powers to shock Superboy.
Superboy uses his super strength to throw both him and Aqualad into the ceiling.
Aqualad doesn't let go and Superboy does the same attack again.
But this time the Atlantean's grip breaks and he falls independently to the ground.
Superboy walked past Aqualad's unconscious form and headed to the door.
The clone's hands broke through the metal and he gets the door open with a slam, knocking it off it's rail.
Desmond smirked, but says nothing as he walked past the clone before looking at the four unconscious teen heroes in the room.
"Atta boy."Desmond sneered evilly.
