My parents and grandparents used to tell me stories about a man who hosts a nature show and his young daughter having a gift of talking to animals. I didn't even think that it's possible. My grandfather from my father's side kept telling me that it is true. I asked him, "If it's true, then how come it had to be kept secret?" My grandmother from my father's side looked at me and she said, "If she told anyone of her powers, she'll loose them forever."

I gasped. Mom then said, "Just because she had powers of talking to animals doesn't mean that we know and have to keep it secret." I took her word for it. My father handed me something that was once his, a cloak with the sun colors while my mother handed me her amulet, my grandfather gave me his staff and my grandmother handed me her special bracelet. I got in awe. Father said, "This cloak was once mine when I was about your age and this amulet was once hers when she was a year younger than you, this staff was once your grandfather's when he was almost your age and this bracelet was once your grandmother's when she was a bit older than you Rosella, but now we want you to have them."

I got my eyes wide. I didn't know what to say. I put on the cloak and the amulet and I was in awe. I didn't know what to say at all. Father then said, "You know, exploring with your breaded dragon and chameleon in the yard would help you understand more." I then said, "Sure Dad, I'll give it a go.

My breaded dragon is a female named Periwinkle and my chameleon is named Tika. She's also female. It sure is nice of my parents and my grandparents to give me their things.

Then I started to notice my father's cloak, my mother's amulet, my grandfather's staff and my grandmother's bracelet starting to glow. That's strange. What is going on? What's happening? Before I had time to react, a flash of red and orange and yellow light surrounded me and Periwinkle and Tika. This is like a wild ride of some kind!

Then I landed with a thud. I groaned and got my eyes wide. I looked around and there I found that there is no signs of civilization. I then said, "Periwinkle, Tika, I have a feeling that we're not at home anymore." We must be in the wild!
