On December 25 one year, a baby boy was born to His parents. His name was Christ Jesus. He was to grow and save the sinful world. The disobedient, evil, etc. Earth. He was to do this by dying on the cross and save our lives on Earth.
Then one day when He was older, He was betrayed by Judas and captured by King Pilot. King Pilot ordered a trial, and asked Jesus if He was the Son of God/ King of the Jews. Jesus didn't answer and Pilot ordered Him to be hung on the cross and the other prisoner was let free.
Jesus hung on the cross for a looonnnggg time. He suffered soooo much! It must of hurt a billion. OUCH! But I'm soooo glad He died for us! Back to the story. He was then buried in a tomb covered be a large stone. When Mary went to see Him, He was gone. Instead, there were two angels sitting by the tomb and said, "Do not be afraid, I am an angel from heaven. The Lord has risen. Go and tell the disciples the news."
