"One and Only You"
It was the first time they met. The first time they ever laid eyes on each other. But they didn't know that this meeting would change their lives... forever...
It took one look
Since then, they've always met at Penguin Park; at the same spot they've first met each other. They talked about themselves, getting to know each other better everyday, and later, became very close friends.
Then forever they're out in front of me
In a matter of weeks of meeting, little by little, something blossomed between the two. Something called love.
One smile, then I died
Both fell deeply with each other.
But it'll be revived by you
There I was, thought I had everything figured out
Young as they were, they never knew the feelings they felt for each other. When their friends found out about them, they started to tease the two. They started to avoid each other
It goes to show just how much I know 'bout the way plays out
For weeks, they avoided each other and ignored their feelings for each other, but both couldn't resist the other.
I take one step away
One rainy night, one found himself on the park, sitting on the swing, waiting for the other at the same spot they've first met.
Then I find myself back to you
Both found themselves in each other's arms, cherishing their moment together, taking back all the time they've avoided each other.
My one and only you
They remained there for a while. hoping that the day won't end.
Now I know that I know not a thing, none at all Except the fact that I am yours, and that you are mine
They've forgiven each other for the time that they wasted. time that they didn't value. time that they should have spent with each other.
Oh, you told me that this wouldn't be easy. and no, I'm not one to complain
They sat there, waiting for the sun to rise, thankful that they're back together.
I take one step away Then I find myself coming back to you My One and Only, One and Only You...
