to erase even the smallest doubts
i'd sacrifice my mind
i'd sacrifice my life
and i would give my very soul
to rest assured
and know in my lifeless corpse
that i am the one you love
A/N: Yes, I wrote that poem just so this author's note wouldn't be deleted. Oh well.
I decided to be nice, and answer everyone's questions.
-Who is telling the story?!-
Well, in reality, there is no narrator. If you've read "Just Another Girl" you might remember Rhanea - who was placed in for a line or so to make sure Kagome crossed the street safely, and as a happy birthday to my friend. So, when I was writing the story, I did sort of envision her. However, to avoid re-using her, I left the storyteller nameless - because I have fun going and putting other people in that spot, and I know some of my friends like pretending it's them.
-Who are they talking to?-
Inu-Yasha, of course! Though, if you want, you could pretend it was someone else.
-What was Inu-Yasha doing there?-
Well, in my mind, I would think that after she's killed herself, and hasn't shown up in the Sengoku Jidai, Inu-Yasha would come to investigate, doncha think?
And, if Kagome ever got the answer to her question or not - I can only guess.
