Remus was walking in a very crowded town. Everyone was busy doing all their Christmas shopping and laughing. Not Remus. He was sitting on a bench trying to not think about Sirius. It didn't work. Every time he thought about Sirius it hurt.
After an hour or so of sitting on the black steel bench, Remus stood up and decided that he would get Harry something. What would he get? Remus didn't usually go into Muggle towns but here he was: sitting on the bench and deciding what shop he should go to. Sirius would know, he always knew what to get people for presents. Once again it hurt to think about him.
Remus tried not to get lost in the crowds but it was quite easy. The crowd seemed to be going one direction and Remus the other. Remus saw a head that had long black hair, it seemed familiar. It must be a coincidence. The head turned and looked at Remus. It was Sirius, long hair, yellow teeth and all. His usual face that had been worn out at Azkaban seemed to be more handsome and lively. His eyes seemed full of fire and happiness.
Remus's heart skipped a beat. "Sirius!" he called as he quickened his pace to get towards him.
Sirius had turned away and walked a pace that Remus could not keep up with.
"Sirius!" Remus called. Sirius still did not turn around. Sirius must have not have heard him. That was it! He would never ignore Remus like that even for a horrible and twisted game.
"Sirius!" Remus bellowed. Sirius kept on walking. Why was he doing this? Did he not love Remus anymore?
"SIRIUS!" Remus shouted. Sirius was beginning to disappear into the crowd. Remus began to run. He must not leave his sight off Sirius.
Remus ran as fast he could. It was too late: Sirius had vanished into the crowd never to be seen again…

Remus woke up. It had all been a dream: Sirius was still dead. His face was paler and he felt more and more depressed ever since the day Sirius died. Remus waited for the tears to come…
