A/N: hey guys, this is my first Alias Fanfic. It's to a song from the play
Miss Saigon. I've never actually seen the play, but I sing the music w/ my
voice teacher and it's a really pretty song. So check it out. I'm a die
hard Syd/Vaughn fan but I couldn't resist myself in writing this.
Summary: Lauren thinks about everything that has happened since Sydney was
found.
Now That I've Seen Her
It's alright
It's alright when you just imagine
There's no face
She's not real
And you can tell yourself its all ok
But she's here
And my hear cries this isn't happening
But the truth is cold and real
And I know this storm won't go away
I sit, looking out the window and see the tears running down my face in the
reflection. I remember when I first met Michael. Everything was perfect.
He had a past, I knew that, but I didn't know how deep it went. I thought
he could move on. He did move on.
Sydney is beautiful and sweet. I can see why Michael would love her. For
some reason I just cannot hate her. I knew that Michael was in love
before, but when Sydney came back it was more real.
Now that I've seen her there's no way to hide
She is not some fling from long ago
Now that I've seen her I know why he lied
And I think it was better when I didn't know
I'm happy that Sydney is alive. It's always a terrible thing when someone
dies, but why did it have to be so hard. Sydney still loves Michael. Her
eyes show every thing. And Michael has this spark about him that I've never
seen before.
My biggest fear is that Michael will realize that he still loves her.
That he will leave me, for her. But I swear, I'll fight. I will hold my
ground. I won't let him go.
In her eyes
In her voice
in the heat that filled the air
Part of him still lingers there
I know what pain her life today must be
But if it all comes down to her or me
I don't care
I swear I'll fight
Michael is the first man I have loved since my boyfriend from high
school who died from cancer when we were sophomores in college. I know
that Michael was also the first man who Sydney loved since her fiancé was
killed.
Here I stand, between two people who once loved each other only two years
ago. Their lives were torn apart. Now they must decide what will happen.
But I swear that I will fight for Michael. I will fight for love.
Now that I've seen her she's more than a name
I don't hate this girl
Even so
Now that I've seen her I can't stay the same
Who's the man
That I've always trusted
Now I have to know
