"Ugh, it's too early why do we have school today." Timmy complained as his alarmon his Nook Phone was going off hearing soft knocking on his door knowing it was Tommy and he knew he wasn't a morning-cub which he wasn't either but made the best of it, plus coffee helped like the Roost coffee cart they ran into on the way to school which their dads didn't know about, alomg with their mom and Aunt Cherry because coffee made them a lil wild in the past like when Crimson and Carmine tricked them into drinking coffee and trashing the Roost when they'd been little cubs.
"Timmy, Tommy time to get up, school day, let's go." Tima called from downstairs as they went downstairs sluggishly entering the kitchen, sitting at the table noticing Mei was her usual full of beans self which Tai and Tom understood making the Nooklings milky coffee to help wake them up so they didn't fall asleep in classes because sometimes, Tai and Tom got messages or calls from their homeroom-sensei about this so they were working on this with Timmy and Tommy knowing they got good grades like Casey and Tara.
"Arigatou daddy, papa Tai, we're not like Mei first thing, wow." Timmy said makihg Tima along with Tai and Tom hetvTommy to show them his paws, getting excited making Mei and Timmy confused hearing the adults excited.
"Congrats, Tommy you got your big-cub claws and we have to teach you to use them so you don't hurt yourself or nick others like your brother." Tom said making Timmy impressed but surprised, Tommy getting his big-claws before him hearing Mei ask why it was a big deal making Tima giggle, at her younger-cub's question.
"It's a sign, your brother's growing up and Timmy will get his too, like you when you get as big." she told her.
After eating, both Timmy and Tommy left the house after grabbing their backpacks and hugged their dads goodbye only Tommy noticed that Timmy was quiet seeing Casey and Tara join them noticing Casey's claw-nails were bigger plus painted guessing she'd gotten her big claws too seeing Tommy grin telling that Timmy might be jealous he had gotten his before him so trying not to brag about that, which Casey found sweet but were heading to school, getting to homeroom before their sensei flipped out.
"Made it before the bell, hehehe get it." Tara said seeing them nodding as they took their seats seeing Ashyln enter after the bell rang hearing their sensei telling the otter-cub to go to the office seeijg her scowling making Casey think a bad mood was affecting classmates since Timmy was in a bad mood, now Ashyln thinking feeling Tommy tapping on her shoulder gently breaking her out of her thoughts saying it was nearly time for Gym class making her sigh, putting her power-bands on so she couldn't hurt anybody with her powers which he and Timmy got.
In Gym class, it was basketball making a lot of kids including Timmy happy, yet Tommy and Casey weren't noticing Timmy was getting whatever was bothering him ijto the game pushing Tommy to the floor surprisijg Casey and Tara, seeing Tommy get up feeling his eye hurt as it was a black eye making Timmy freak as the rang signalling free period seeing Tommy going to Drama Club while he had soccer practice, hoping Tommy wasn't mad at hij.
"He'll be fine, he knows it was an accident." Tara assured him relieving him knowing that Casey huhg out at The Roost with her friend, Yoko who was like her and had powers like her which Timmy and Tommy understood, hoping she'd get back before free period was over.
Thankfully they saw her returning just as the bell rang relieving them, heading to art-class, Casey's favourite class, seeing Timmy joining them lookijg sweaty after practice.
"Mei-Mei, Honey you have to have naps soon, as the two of you have been playing all morning and an nap might help you feel better as you sound cranky." Tima said to both lil cubs.
It was early-afternoon in the Nook house and Mei, Timmy and Tommy's lil sister and her best friend, Honey who was Casey's little sister had been playing all morning as Honey's mom had to go do things plus both youngsters would be starting pre-school in a few days plus had been running arouhd playing superheroes with Honey using her growing powers.
"I guess it's okay since my mama said naps help us grow." Honey told her yawning along with Mei, relieving Tai, Tima and Tom putting both youngsters down for an nap then tidying up some of the mess the girls had caused hoping the boys were alright at school checking their phones not seeing messages from their sensei or principal relieving them leaving both youngsters and a while later, Casey, Timmy and Tommy were home seeing Tima put a finger to her mouth.
"Your sister and Honey are still sleeping, but see you guys had a good day." she said softly.
"Wow, Honeybdidn't wreck your house, or singe holes in the walls, mom will be happy as she's pretty nervous about Honey starting school in case her powers spurt out." Casey said seeing Honey deep asleep on the couch in the living room.
