"You're wasting your time Jack. Only Master Fung can open the Shen Gong Wu fault." Alexis says as she is watching from a cage as Jack's bot is looking around the temple on a screen.
"Just admit it. You're impressed with me." Jack says as he smiles at Alexis.
"I beg to differ at the moment." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Well impressive as my bot is I'd much rather have the real you around. Least you treat me with respect." Jack says as he smiles at Alexis earning an eye roll from her.
"And right now I'm regretting such decisions." Alexis says as she glares at Jack.
"Jack stop messing around with her. Get your gear together. We need to be ready for the next Shen Gong Wu." Wuya says angrily as she comes into the room.
"Yes Wuya." Jack says as Wuya leaves.
"Why do you let her talk to you like that?" Alexis asks as she looks at Jack.
"What choice do I have? It's not like I got much else going for me." Jack says as he looks down.
"Oh Jack... Listen I'm sorry for what I said. I actually am impressed by many of your inventions." Alexis says as she smiles softly at Jack.
"You're just saying that because you want out of this cage." Jack says as he gives an annoyed look.
"No I'm not. I do enjoy hanging around you. Don't care for the evil but otherwise you're not so bad." Alexis says.
"Well you're my only real friend. I never had friends growing up like you did. This is all I really know." Jack says as he looks at Alexis.
"My life wasn't easy either. You know that." Alexis says.
"I know. You told me not long after we began hanging out. Why did you ever trust me enough to hang out with me anyway? All I ever do is fight with you and your friends." Jack says.
"While I do have my personal reasons for hanging around I do it because I know the person you are underneath all that. You're kind and truly amazing. Just gotta not be afraid to let that part of you out sometimes." Alexis says kindly as she smiles.
"You know I can't do that." Jack says.
"Never hurts to try sometimes." Alexis says.
"I-" Jack then gets cut off by Wuya.
"Jack a new Shen Gong Wu has been revealed. The Helmet of Jong!" Wuya says as she comes into the room glowing.
"That's my cue to leave and don't bother trying to break out. I made these bars strong enough to withstand a wolf's strength." Jack says as he sees Alexis shift to wolf form.
"I'm just gonna howl. One of the many things I love doing because of my wolf side. Beats sitting here doing nothing." Alexis says.
"Glad you finally decided to chin up a bit. Maybe when I get back we can do something together." Jack says as he activates his flying backpack.
"Yeah. Right." Alexis says.
"Alright then." Jack says as leaves with Wuya before Alexis begins looking around the cage and sees a glass of water nearby on a table.
*Timeskip*
"Finally. I'm out. I gotta warn the others and fast!" Alexis says as she manages to break out of the cage having used the water to short circuit the cage's security system and runs off.
