Letting his foot off the brake, Izuku could feel the whole car begin to shift forward. Holding on to the steering wheel with more force than necessary he turned it so the vehicle would move inward onto the road. Remembering his companions' instruction, the freckled man left his foot hover over the break instead of the gas pedal. The car moved at a comically slow crawl. It wasn't as spectacular a sight if one were to see the sluggish contraption compared to when Bakugo was driving. But he was told to go at his own pace and that's exactly what he intended too. Realizing nothing immediately dangerous was happening, Izuku chanced a quick glance at his passenger.

"Am I doing it right?" He asked, excited to know if his actions were correct.

Izukus self appointed instructor gave a hum, as if deep in thought about his words. Crimson irises looked over at him with a pearly white grin spread on his face. "I guess you could say you got the basics down.…if you bothered hitting the gas," he said light-heartedly.

Izuku kept his attention glued to the pavement making sure not to drift too close to its edge. "That's a bit more than my heart can take right now," sea green orbs looked at the ashen haired passenger quickly. In his nervousness, Izuku barely shifted his focus off the road for a second if at all. "What should I do if another car comes?"

Bakugo gave a low chuckle, "I told ya, no one drives around here. I'm sure I mentioned it already. You're just too stoned to remember, shitty nerd."

Izuku gave the blond a pointed look before letting it drop as he noticed the cheeky smirk aimed at him. "Haha, remember who put this shitty nerd behind the wheel?"

"It's gonna be fine, quit worrying so much. By the way," Bakugo pointed at something which had the greenette look at buttons near his hand. "Hit that bottom button and roll the windows down. Shouldn't let this perfect weather go to waste." Izuku nodded in agreement and did as he was told. Immediately, air blew through the car catching each males head of hair in its cooling torrent.

Taking a glimpse of the driver, Bakugo hesitated as if his next words would incite a reaction from the youngest of the pair. He let the reluctance flee his mind before adding, "Me and my dad came out here a couple times."

Intrigued by the admission, Izuku looked over at the blonde. "Really? What for?" He asked, too curious about the large male and his connection to the place they were at.

"My dad likes to find isolated places like this," the information spurred the greenette to listen closely. "He goes around the city looking for abandoned spots to test drive some of the cars hes worked on. But this place," Bakugo gestured to the view outside. "This is where he taught me how to drive."

It was a small shock hearing Bakugo talk about his history, but it wasn't unpleasant to the greenette. The beach, found a few yards past grass covered dunes, looked extremely untouched by humanity. A detail that surprised Izuku knowing the city and its populace were just miles away. When they arrived Izuku wasn't aware it was a public beach, initially thinking the place was some privately owned area. It was amazing for him, he imagined a younger Bakugo in the very same place, attempting and possibly struggling to drive his very first try. He couldn't ignore the pleased feeling he got, deciding that instant to cherish the mental image for as long as he could remember it. With a warmhearted smile he asked,"So he finally opened up that garage?"

"Yea, you remember that dream of his huh? He finally got it started a few years ago, been tuning cars and working mechanics ever since. Im pretty sure he got me this monster as some weird reminder that he actually did it, ya know." Bakugo patted the center console as he spoke.

Izuku kept the car at a snail's pace when he turned his head enough to see Bakugo smiling to himself. He was facing the window, chin resting on his hand as his elbow propped it up on the windows ledge. The pale driver thought Bakugo was reminiscing about his past, then he caught sight of the scenery out the window. The open space outside where you overlooked the sea and all its neighboring greenery took his breath away.

His mental reflection resurfaced moments from their earlier encounter all of a sudden, bringing with it a familiar warmth that started to spread along his freckled skin. To the greenette, the memory of his muscled passenger standing in front of him in a frantic state felt like ages ago. At least, he thought as much when seeing the calm and laid back demeanor Bakugo currently had. It had the lean swimmer wondering. Was the spiky haired athlete as unfazed by his confession as he appeared? Izuku couldn't tell whether being in his presence made the large senior any more anxious than the green eyed male was himself. The knowledge alone gave him pangs of intense emotion, so strong that with every recollection he could hardly think straight.

Izuku studied the way his companion sat as a brief distraction from his uncontrollable thoughts. He noticed how the light was creating a kind of halo on top of the man's unruly head. His chiseled features and wild golden hair were alight by streams of sun in a manner that had the dark haired teen shifting in his seat. It occurred to the freckled individual abruptly, there was only one word on his mind worth describing the alluring scene..'breathtaking.'

"Uhm, Izuku?"

Snapping out of his musings, Izuku turned to see the car was drifting enough to ride the grass. "Shit!" He blurted as he quickly adjusted the wheel. Luckily the vehicle was moving at a crawl so the correction didn't jerk them around hard. Izuku gave a groan of frustration nonetheless. He was relieved as well as annoyed when he heard his companion laugh beside him.

"Wooow, you're good." The blonde said, having fun at the blonde's panicked expression. He aimed a large toothy grin at the swimmer who was now grumbling under his breath.

"I think I'm gonna puke," mumbled the dark haired driver. Izuku was glad he didn't irk the large male next to him for almost driving them off the road. Although he would keep that thought to himself in spite of the blonde finding his anxious state amusing.

"Try picking up the speed will ya? I'm finding gray hairs over here."

Fearful orbs turned as he spoke in a slow, disbelieving way. "You're joking right?"

Scarlet eyes observed the shorter male, "Whats wrong? You scared?"

A challenging smirk was written on the ashen haired man's features. It flared something within Izuku, a feeling that sparked goosebumps up his forearms. He sprouted a pout at the taunt then hunched a bit in his seat, hoping the other in the car wouldn't notice his reaction. "Not scared," he muttered before glancing at Bakugo with a rising smirk and a mischievous glint in his eye. "Only an idiot would let a speed seeker drive this four wheeled relic anyway, no one ever told you the elderly have their limits?"

Eyes the color of burning coals widened a fraction. The words made the larger athlete part his mouth in shock before he threw his head back in laughter. Its loud vigor died down when Bakugo looked at the dark haired male with a near feral grin, "Ohh, iss'at right? Thats big talk comin from you, nerd. You tellin me you got the balls to test those limits?"

Irises of dark evergreen blazed at the challenging words. "Watch me."

Izuku smiled, pleased with himself in successfully teasing the elder athlete. Letting his attention turn back to the road after succumbing to his competitive nature he gripped the steering wheel tight before pressing down on the gas. In response the car sped forward, accompanied by the thunderous sound of its engine revving. Izuku kept his eyes glued to the street as they quickly picked up speed making sure to keep them centered on the pavement all the while.

"That's it, keep her steady. Don't throttle it too fast…yea there ya go! '' Cheered the male next to him. "Hell yea! Keep pushin it!" Bakugo was leaning forward in his seat, excitement overtook him at seeing the amateur driver brave the acceleration. "See, I told ya didn't I? You got this." Pride swelled in his chest then showed up on his elated expression as a face splitting grin. "You're doing it deku!"

Izuku was nearly crazed with nervousness until the words dawned on him. He was driving. 'Im really driving!' The youngest let himself enjoy the thrill of the moment-and secretly, Bakugos compliments.

Then he laughed. His gem-like eyes wide with excitement, Izuku fully burst out in delightful laughter and watched as the scenery flew past them. The sleek black car sped forward with little effort, its engine roared as he drove them further down the empty road.

For the first time in his nineteen years of life, despite countless hours spent practicing actual combat, Izuku felt empowered. He couldn't believe how wonderful it felt, the exhilaration from driving at high speeds with wisps of wind raging against his skin and the sea so close he could smell its salty air. Something inside him was acutely aware of the consequences if he lost control of the metal beast. However, holding the reins of something so dangerous and powerful sent euphoric chills through his body, the kind that wouldn't be easily forgotten. He would soon realize it was a sensation he never wanted to lose. It was similar to how he felt when swimming against tough competitors or on occasions he joined the track team for a meet and he ran with all his might. All one needed to do was amplify that feeling by a few hundred times and you would have what's coursing through him right now. Like he could go anywhere in the world without a care, all he needed was the sun on his back and the air in his lungs.

It was a taste of freedom. In its simplicity, he felt as though nothing was out of reach. Like there was nothing to fear in this world. He could accomplish anything if he desired it. 'No one could stop me,' he thought. 'No one!'

He was free.

At least for the driver, the sentiment was intoxicating. Enough to voice his overwhelming excitement at his passenger. "Kacchan! You are THE luckiest bastard in all Japan!"

Bakugo silently adored the way Izuku beamed with enthusiasm, so much it was hard for the blond to look away. It took all his brain power to form a coherent thought as he cemented the sight to his memory. The boys words sent a smirk to his lips, finding a double meaning to the statement as he believed luck gifted him this very moment. In his opinion, with all that's happened in the span of a couple days, he'd be a fool to think otherwise. Crimson irises never strayed from the curly haired boys radiant expression when he quietly responded, "The luckiest…"

The pair spent the entire afternoon driving up and down the long and empty road. Izuku caught on fairly quickly to the lesson at hand. He figured out when to ease off the gas on high speed stretches without difficulty, learning how to time his deceleration and reaching a full stop with perfect precision. However, controlling the turning and reverse of the vehicle remained a challenge to him. Bakugo would occasionally step in and return the car to a proper position, letting the dark haired male focus on the basics of acceleration and braking for now.

The two chatted idly whenever Izuku drove. Both fell into comfortable conversation easily, as if the pair never went years without so much as saying hello to one another. They mostly talked about the car and the blond's own history in helping his dad work on it. How they added many new electric and cosmetic features to the classic vehicle. Izuku spoke a little about his athletic career, telling the older male of his accomplishments in the ring and at school. Turns out they shared similar interests in the out of town tournament set to happen next year, a competition meant for veterans and amateurs to test their combat skill. It was also an opportunity for fighters to get scouted by sponsors and other companies if they wished to go pro.

That is, if one had the nerve to face the intense competitors that showed up from all around the country. Alot of fighters were ruthless in this specific event, many wanting to show off and others purely wanted to act on their violent tendencies. Izuku knew this from the stories Kai would bring back after witnessing the fights for himself. Its been a few years since the tournament began and Izuku was pretty sure his martial arts teacher never failed to go. There was one story he wanted to tell his companion but decided not to damper the mood with its details.

Then, after some time, Bakugo took over and drove them to a paved area with a better view of the beach. Patches of grass and mounds of sand bordered the concrete slab. There were slender pipes coated in rust jutting out the ground around some edges, probably meant for connecting a water source to whatever building was planned to be built. Now it looked like the only thing the paved section was good for was parking, which is exactly what Bakugo did.

He parked the car and it rumbled silent when he twisted the keys free of the ignition. The door windows remained down, allowing the breeze to cool the space between them. They sat quietly, each facing the crystal blue sea and its dark sandy beach.

Izuku was caught up in the moment. Falling deeper in love with the coastal scene the longer he watched the ocean's waves lazily crash ashore. It's never ending noise echoed around them and Izuku wished the sound could follow him home, thinking it would be the perfect melody to lull him to sleep.

"Izuku," said a low voice next to him. Its sultry tone saying his name pulled him from his trance and he looked in its owner's direction, a lump caught in his throat when his focus drew him to devilishly handsome features. Fiery red eyes were fixated on him and he was sure the pair looked down at something on his face for a split second before they turned toward the sea. "You uh, wanted to talk about something, remember?" Bakugo asked.

The freckled man with dark curls squirmed at the reminder, now feeling uneasy at the topic he needed to discuss. Izuku's face fell and he looked at the mat down by his feet. Letting his hands play with themselves in his lap he hesitated before responding, "Yea. I wanted to talk about what you told me earlier." He could already feel a burning heat creep up his face at the mention of their conversation. Izuku felt his chest tighten at the reality of his position and couldn't bring himself to speak. The ability to form words was an unexpected struggle for the green haired male when he remembered the feelings Bakugo admitted earlier. Luckily, for the smallest of the two, he didn't have to.

"Let me ask you something first," Bakugo aimed his fierce gaze upon the freckled swimmer.

Izuku studied the other mans decisive expression and knew he'd rather hear the brute speak than reveal what was on his mind. Nodding slightly he softly said, "Okay."

Bakugo watched the greenette with hooded eyes for a few seconds before carefully asking, "Are you in love with Shinso?"

Regrettably, Izuku now wished he had spoken first.

"W-what?" he stammered out.

The blonde continued to peer at him with dual irises that seemed to flicker in the sun's warm light. "Are you in love with him?"

Izuku was taken aback by the words. He chewed his lower lip as his anxiety began to rise but managed to think up an honest response. "I don't really know if I can answer that...its complicated, I don't…I don't really know if I am." Izuku looked away, he was unable to cope with other boys questioning gaze on him so he gently gnawed the inside of his lip again.

Bakugo waited for a short time and when the other didn't continue he glanced at the teens worried lip. "Are you dating?"

After hearing the blond's confession, he reckoned this subject was bound to come up at some point. Izuku just assumed he would have the time to process everything before a confrontation happened. However, it still shocked the greenette hearing the other ask about his romantic status. He didn't expect the blond to beat around the bush so soon. 'No,' he thought to himself. 'He's always been the straightforward type.' The thought gave him a quick reprieve but didn't dwindle his anxious feelings. It also surprised Izuku, knowing this was exactly the topic he needed to discuss with the ashen haired athlete. His own plans for gently breaching the matter have fully gone out the window now. Already guessing the males intention behind bringing it up, he speculated if the muscular driver instinctively knew what he wanted to talk about or if it was just coincidence. Unfortunately, with his current position, his theory would go unverified.

The male in question hesitantly let his eyes travel up to meet scarlet ones. "Sort of…" he answered. "We just started..whatever we have going on. Pretty recent actually..but yea, we're kind of…dating."

"So, you like him?"

"...yes." Was all the answer he could muster up for him.

Instant guilt overwhelmed Izuku when he saw the driver rake a hand through spiked hair then watched as flame colored eyes closed shut. His head rolled back to lean against the grey leather seat, his hand roughly landed on the window rest before it balled up in a fist tight enough to hear knuckles crack. Bakugo heaved a quick sigh before slowly opening lidded eyes, the older male stared ahead with an expression that worried Izuku.

"Damn," he spoke lowly. "That really fuckin sucks."

Izuku couldn't stop the fluttering inside his stomach at the admission. He hated seeing the hurt expression on Bakugo but knew it was only fair he find out the truth. It would have been made known to the elder teen at some point so Izuku figured the news should at least come from him personally. The blonds somber silence still frightened the bearer of dark curls, briefly thinking his answer could very well push his oldest known friend away for good. Izukus inner turmoil made him loathe the position he put himself in. So much in fact, he slumped a bit in his seat and used his silk like bangs to shield himself from seeing the solemn driver. Wrapped up in his guilty conscience incited the next words to pour out his downturned mouth, "You probably hate me now.."

Bakugos head turned sharply, giving the sullen teen a once over before softening his gaze. Cracking a half smile he chuckled lightly, "I could never hate you. Did you already forget? Damn nerd, you must be hella stoned."

Izuku slowly looked back into pools of dark crimson, "Forget what?"

Izuku continued to sit still as Bakugo lifted a large arm. Although the green headed male almost gasped when warm digits dusted his cheek in a blazing caress, he stayed motionless.

"Its a little impossible for me to hate the person I fell for."

The curly haired athlete almost forgot to breathe after hearing the baseball star speak. He couldn't believe the words were repeated, also, they made it clear the blonde had no intention of cursing him. Izuku was struggling to say anything due to the driver's statement, spurring a feeling like firecrackers detonating in the pit of his stomach instead.

The electrifying sensation gave him the courage to ask Bakugo, "Could you still be my friend?" Fully aware of his body temperature skyrocketing, jade colored eyes remained fixated on the well built man when Bakugo lowered his hand from Izuku's freckled cheek.

Bakugos brows furrowed at the question, rouge tinted irises searched the face of the boy sitting next to him. Izuku started to squirm under his was about to ask if he'd been heard until a large hand combed through ashen locks. Izuku's mood shifted, bewildered now when Bakugo cursed under his breath in unison to the action. Then, as if in one fluid motion, the blonde quickly untethered himself from his seat belt and exited the vehicle. "Kacchan? Wait, where are yo-" The greenette started to ask but the driver's side door slammed shut, effectively cutting his words short. Panic enveloped Izuku at the males sudden action. In desperate concern, Izuku hurried out of the car in pursuit of the male.

"Kacchan?!" He called out. Izuku stood with his hand holding the door open, looking around he spotted the classic car owner leaning back against its hood. Izuku shut the door, ignoring his strands of dark curly hair as the breeze whipped them in every direction. Instead, focusing on Bakugos muscled back outlined in the shirt he wore. Izuku noticed the lack of limbs then saw his hands were tucked in dark colored pants giving him a surprisingly calm aura. Under better circumstances, the greenette would be inclined to believe such a notion.

The current circumstances, however, hinted differently.

"Kacchan?" Izuku called to him less panicked this time. "You're gonna ignore me forever now, is that it?"

The blond turned his head at the boy's voice. Izuku felt a sliver of satisfaction from the response but soon regretted it as the golden haired brute rounded the car in his direction. His approach managed to weaken the freckled mans resolve and the idea of hiding crept into his thoughts at seeing the intense expression aimed at him. Regardless, he held firm with arms by his sides, looking up at the taller male when he finally stood in front of him at the passengers side.

Dark amber eyes looked him up and down unabashedly, sending bolts of electricity up Izuku's spine in the process. He tried his hardest not to react but could feel a flame-like sensation rising to the tips of his ears and cheeks. The smirk showing up on Bakugos face irked him for a short second before he was overcome with something else. Mostly in response to the blonde leaning close to his face, enough for him to see parts of his collarbone and chest muscles when the wind blew his white shirt open. He tore his eyes away when the blonde chuckled low in his throat.

"Are you sure friendship is what you want from me?" he sent the blushing green head a wicked grin. "I'm willing to give you more than a mere friendship. Much more."

Izuku shivers at the implication those lewd words held. The sight of Bakugos predatory gaze sent his thoughts spiraling in a frantic mess. Izuku tried forming a coherent answer but found the athletes loosening shirt more intriguing.

Bakugo took advantage of the pause and brought his arm up to rest against the top of the car, in turn forcing Izuku back against the door. His cheek was level with the pale swimmer's lean neck now. "If you'd like, I can show you how deep my love goes." Without pause, the blond placed his free hand under the swimmer's shirt on his hip.

Izuku inhaled sharply. Caught off guard by the action he snapped his hands up to the larger body on reflex, palms laying flat against the baseball player's hard chest. The distance between them was much smaller now. A rush of adrenaline coursed through him at the spiky haired males touch. It was almost dizzying, the blond's close proximity fired so many signals to his brain it rendered him speechless. With every motion Bakugo made with his fingers, Izuku thought the hand tracing circles on his waist would leave a scorching imprint once it was gone.

Memories of his rooftop activities flooded his mind, briefly imagining the blond acting out all the things Shinso had done to him. The thought frightened him…because he never expected it to get him so damn hot.

Izuku brought his attention back when the blond said, "I'll be your friend deku."

Bakugo eyed him heatedly. "But you should know," he said before leaning down to brush his lips along a spot on Izukus pale neck. He hummed when the dark haired boy trembled, "I've made up my mind."

Izuku barely registered what he said, engrossed in the elder teens' feather-like touch when he looked up at the man with handsome features as he pulled away. His glazed over eyes were hooded as he answered, "what's that?" Izuku nearly melted when the blond sprouted a devilish smile and growled out his next words.

"I want to make you mine."
