Searching through the rubbles of what had been here for almost 2 years, i managed to stumble to a tunnel right outside the cryogenic chamber only to find a decayed corpse dressed in a labcoat and shirt, his lower half crushed beneath a large beam i couldnt move. I tied the lab coat around my waist and set out fron the tunnel into the light leading to the ground level, hopefully to a town or a settlement where i can get clothes

After walking for half hour i felt too tired to go on, i sat on the side of the road leaning agaist one of the numerous tiberium spore spouting trees there

Huh that is actually a lot more than I thought and also explains the ruins of the laboratory,now let's look at the perks, i think i remember something popping up when i woke up

'uh, so im immune to ice huh, not to dirt apparently, need to go clean up a bit tho before im able to go to a town, cant go around in this caked mud look after all'

I walked along the road till i found a body of water, a small half frozen river in which i took a dip to clean myself off, my immunity to ice kept me from freezing but it didn't keep me from feeling how fuckin cold it was

Looking at my reflection in the frozen water i noticed multiple scars on my torso, a tattoo on my sternum, a blood red marked of Kane logo right in the middle, two scars running just below where my pecs are supposed to be, with small red crystals forming out of them, the same with my left arm, small horns of small blood red crystals poked out of my shoulder and elbow. Speaking of arms, all my muscles from the character creation are gone, i am barely a skeleton right now, my skrunken body can easily be mistaken for a corpse or worse, one of the many tiberium infected corpses that Kane has robbed and mutilated over the years, my face looks like its just a skull with barely any skin on it,all of my hair trimmed till i can barely feel it

i couldn't go to civilization looking like this, so i set off into the vast valleys filled with tiberium infested crystals trying to find some wildlife to kill for exp

Two hours later:

i walked through almost a whole kilometer of infested land and collected numerous common green and rarer blue tiberium that i kept in my inventory

after what it seemed to be hours i finally found one of the many many visceroids that wasn't in the vicinity of attracting another one of them to me. staring hard at it with intention of gaining a skill to identify it i spent a good ten minutes

'fucking FINALLY' i immediately looked at the lump of flesh that wobbled around with no sence of purpose or direction

abandoning overthinking through an attack plan i started running towards the blob, attracting it's attention towards me once i got within 5 meters of it

an ugly head like part of the visceroid turnt towards me immediately, letting out a guttural sound that sounded both human and inhumane, with its screech it started moving towards me at high speeds with its three tentacle like legs , its intentions plain as day.

i dodged its first tentacle trying to spear me and immediately reached back into my inventory to grab a shard of blue tiberium, and stabbed it right in the fleshy blob head part. then all i had to do was dodge the tentacles on my way back as i watched it bleed contaminated blood from its wound, knowing that it wouldn't be enough to kill it i grabbed a small pebble off the ground and aimed at the blue crystal
