After Rosen's announcement of his lineage to his chosen inner circle
Speaking with Cassandra
"So where does this leave us, Rosen?" the warrior woman asked him seriously. "A descendant of a family line that used to be dragon hunters, and a dragon?"
"We are friends, Cassandra," Rosen replied firmly. "That has not changed simply because you now know my true nature. He gently placed his elegant, long-fingered hand on her closest shoulder for a brief moment. "I very much admire your strength, and your willingness to place your trust in a man you did not know. At the beginning of all this madness, and again when you and the others offered me the position of Inquisitor. The only thing which would change that would be if you attempted to harm me, or my family. For now, that is Dorian, and Cole. Soon we will be having our first biological children. But until then, the two of them are my family, my clutch."
"I would never!" Cassandra said, also emphasizing her words firmly.
"Good. And there will be no more circle talk here. In the village I will build surrounding Skyhold, mages will be free. I intend to send out the word inviting those who wish it may live here. My wards ensure that only the pure of heart, soul, and intention may enter. And my wards also ensure that any mage living here will be in perfect control of themselves at all times. My magic shall balance theirs, keeping them sane and safe from demons. If any mundane problems occur, however, like arguments among the villagers, I will handle it. Without violence. As a dragon, my power is far beyond that of any mage."
"I see. I am glad of this, Rosen. At least the people living within your village shall be able to lead safe, happy lives."
"Yes. The village shall be safe, and they shall be free to live their lives in peace. Skyhold shall house my family, and my inner circle when they wish to be in residence. It is a good future we can provide here for those who choose it."
