Chapter 11 - Calm before the storm
The tension between the hidden villages has risen in the last two months. When Hiruzen had met with the other kages and presented Naruto's plan, hell broke loose. The other kages saw it as a declaration of war for just suggesting it. Now it was just a matter of time before the war actually started. So Hiruzen could do nothing but return with grim news. And had to up the village's defenses in preparation for war. Konoha also upped the patrolling of their borders.
Team seven stood in the hokage's office waiting for their new assignment. Everyone in the team was quite nervous as they all knew war could break out any day now. And the missions were structured accordingly. There were alot of border patrol duty, even fresh genin teams were sent to very dangerous territories.
Hiruzen looked at the youths in front of him and their jounin sensei. He felt a pang of guilt sending these fresh graduates on such dangerous assignments but he had no choice with everything that was going on. He did everything he could to secure the younger generations safety, so he had to prioritize a lot. But he could only do so much. He felt a tiny bit relieved that this team in particular was very promising. Both Mito, Naori and Sasuke were very strong for genins and could handle a lot of potential problems. And they had one of the strongest jounin in the village as their sensei. Anko would keep them safe he thought.
"Team seven. I'm sending you to reinforce the border between us and the earth country" he told them as they all stood at attention, even Mito was quiet. They all knew the seriousness of the situation. And they wanted to do their part as they knew their brothers and their team had been away and doing a lot of work in recent months.
"Once you get there, you will meet up with four more squads that's already there. They will fill you in on more details. There has not happened much on the border as of now. But we are expecting more and more intrusion and prodding on our borders from iwa. Right now they are testing weak points and our resolve. Your job is to make sure there are no weak points to be found" He looked at them with a serious expression. "There is no time limit on this assignment, so make sure you bring everything you need as you will be quite a far way from Konoha. The chances iwa will make a heavy assault is quite slim. But if it would occur, know that we can have reinforcement there quickly. Do not be afraid, and show how strong the new generation of Konoha is" he smiled at them.
As he said that Naori touched a part of the upper arm as she thought about the marker her big brother gave her a while back. His words to her had been "If you ever are in danger that you can't handle, channel chakra to this marker and I will be there faster than Mito can eat a bowl of ramen" she smiled at the thought. She knew her brother gave Mito and Sasuke the same markers. That made her feel more safe about this upcoming assignment.
Hiruzen saw what Naori did and he knew what she was thinking. 'Hiraishin is such a versatile ability. Naruto can travel almost anywhere in the fire country in a blink of an eye. This will make sure our borders will be safe,' he thought as he was relieved to have someone like Naruto and his team on their side. In the last months Naruto had been all over fire countries borders and placed his Hiraishin markers on several different outposts and bases. They had in the last two months stopped anyone hostile from crossing fire countries borders. They were working relentlessly to keep everyone safe, and so far they did a great job. There had been no heavy assaults as of yet though, just small scouting parties. He had full confidence in their abilities to stop whatever may come their way. Naruto had been pushing him to let his team make the first offensive move. But Hiruzen had been standing strong in his conviction that Konoha would not be the aggressors. So Naruto had to stand down, for now.
"Here is a more detailed description on your mission" He said and tossed a scroll towards Anko.
"May the will of fire burn brightly in all of you" he smiled at them.
"Dismissed!" he said with the authority of a hokage.
"Hai!" they all said and turned around to leave. Before they left Hiruzen gave Anko a look that said 'Keep them safe'. And she just smirked and nodded. Of course Anko would do everything to keep her students safe. She did not have many friends or a family. Her team had grown a lot on her, she would not let anyone hurt her precious students.
They all said their goodbyes to their families. Both Kushina and Mikoto were quite nervous for their kids. Especially with war looming over them. But they knew their kids were strong. And in the worst case scenario, they knew about Naruto's abilities and that he could be by their side to help them. This made them feel somewhat relieved. But war was an ugly thing, it would certainly have an impact on their children.
Mikoto was not an active shinobi. But Kushina has been back in active duty for a month now. She did most of her work in the village as of now, but when push came to show. No one could stop her from being a frontline fighter. And Konoha could not spare someone as strong as her. They needed all the capable fighters they could get.
In the forest some miles outside Konoha. Team seven was traveling at impressive speed, jumping from tree to tree. They would reach the border in just a few days and the anticipation was high. They had been training for this their entire lives, and they were determined to not let Konoha down.
"You think we may have to kill people on this mission?" Mito asked, a bit nervous. She had never killed anyone before, and the prospect that she may have to kill several people in the coming months scared her. Even with her 'kicking ass' attitude, the thought of taking a life did not sit well with her.
"We have talked about this Mito. Don't get too worked up about it. If it happens, it happens. It's a part of our job to take lives after all." Anko told her then gave her a reassuring smile. "You don't have to like it, but you need to get comfortable at the thought," she added.
Naori and Sasuke had similar thoughts as they have never taken a life either. With war on the horizon, they would most likely get their first kill soon. Better now in a small skirmish than in the middle of a big battle. They did not know how they would react. And that was what scared them the most, freezing up in the middle of a fight and getting themself or their teammates killed.
Naruto had talked about this with them on a few occasions. But they knew he was different from most. He had no problem killing. Everyone knew Naruto liked the thrill of battle. He always just told them "it's part of our duty as shinobi to take a life, and it's better sooner than later" . That always sent a chill down their spines. They heard stories about their brother from other adults or shinobis. They did not believe most of it, but they knew he was powerful and ruthless. They never saw him in action themself. But with the coming war, they probably would.
"Let's keep moving. And focus on the mission everyone!" Anko said sternly as she saw them stuck in their own heads. "This is no time for doubt. We do this to protect that which we love" she said and kept going. And her team followed close behind.
A few days later they finally got to the border and met up with the other teams. None of them were genin. They were a mix of chunin and jounin. "Anko-san, am i glad to see you of all people here" one of the Konoha shinobi came up and greeted them with a smile.
"Shifu-san" Anko said and nodded towards the other woman. Anko had worked with this woman before. She was a competent jonin.
"I see you brought some fresh genin. Should they really be out here Anko-san?" She asked as she looked at them with a confused look.
The genins looked a bit dejected at that. But quickly hid their emotions. "We are stretched thin with everything going on. But I assure you these kids are more than they look" she said. A little bit annoyed that she would question her genin's abilities.
"No offense intended," Shifu said. She turned to the kids. "Welcome to the closest outpost to earth country. My name is Shifu and I'm the senior officer in this wonderful place. Who might you squirts be?". Shifu had been working behind enemy lines as a spy under the command of Jiraiya for the last ten years, so she was not well versed with the new generation in Konoha.
Anko looked at her with a smirk and before the kids could answer she said "These are the siblings of Naruto-sama and Itachi-san. Mito, Naori and Sasuke." and she crossed her arms to look at the reaction. She felt smug, as almost everyone always reacted the same when they saw the kids.
Now Shifu was gaping like a fish, she has had dealings with Naruto before and that guy scared the living shit out of her. And he and his team have built quite the reputation. "Ah..well hello…Welcome then, please follow me and we will talk about your roles here and the news" and she ushered them towards the command tent as she fumbled on her words and suddenly sounded a bit nervous.
'Wonder what niisan and itachi-san did to make her so nervous' Naori thought as her team followed Shifu inside the tent. The basecamp was made up of one big tent and several smaller ones and it also looked like some kind of ruin from some old stronghold or something.
Inside the tent they saw a big table in the middle and s bed to the side. It was warm and cozy inside the tent. There were scrolls and various books scattered around the place. It looked like Shifu had spent quite a lot of time out here. And she did not look very organized, the kids thought.
Shifu looked nervously around the different faces. Anko saw this and scoffed "Take it easy Shifu, they won't bite" and she chuckled a bit.
"It's just that I did not think the siblings of Naruto-sama and Itachi of all people would be sent here. No offense. It's just surprising, that's all" and then she looked like she composed herself.
"You worked with my bro?" Mito asked excitedly.
"Worked..yes..you could say that" she mumbled the last part. The kids just looked at eachother confused and shrugged their shoulders.
"Well anyway. Look at this" and she pointed to several spots on a map covering the border.
"This is where we will patrol. We take shifts and are always at least five people together. The scouts from iwa have become more and more aggressive. Just this morning we got attacked by six iwa shinobis" and the kids looked a bit shocked at that.
"They have been getting bolder, those fuckers. But they are easy enough in those numbers'' she looked at their reactions. They did not show much so she continued "Here are our traps, they are marked with red dots" She pointed at the map again. "Remember these well, it's dangerous walking around out here not knowing where the traps are" she looked at the kids a bit pointedly.
They talked about their protocols and such and made sure the newcomers committed everything to memory. "You guys may rest for tonight. Tomorrow first thing in the morning you will take shifts as lookouts for the camp. You can start patroles in a few days when you are more accustomed to the surroundings here" she told them and the kids smiled at that. At Least they got a pretty soft start, they thought.
First thing in the morning when they woke up, they decided Anko and Mito would take the first shift. Nothing much happened during the day except for some wildlife running in the woods. Mito thought it was kinda spooky how quiet everything was.
"Hey you two" Naori said from behind as she and Sasuke came walking up to them. "Anything interesting happened on your watch?" Sasuke asked.
"If you call animals taking shits in the woods interesting, then yes" Anko said and signed. She didn't really want anything to happen as she had her genin with her. But she was a woman of action, she hated this kind of boring work. "It is disturbingly quiet so keep your eyes sharp tonight. You know what to do if you see anything. Do not engage. Signal and retreat if anything were about to happen." Anko told Naori and Sasuke.
"Yes Anko-sensei," They both said. And Anko stretched herself as she walked off with Mito.
When Anko and Mito were out of view, they both sat down and started their watch. It was a quiet and peaceful night. But their minds and nerves were still on high alert.
After an hour or so. "Did you hear that?" Sasuke asked as he turned towards Naori
"Hear what? It's dead quiet. I can't hear anything except the people back at camp" Naori answers back. As she looked out the dark woods to see if anything was moving. Not even a single animal was sighted.
"Nevermind. Maybe it's just my head playing tricks." Sasuke said and let go of the breath he was holding.
They sat there quiet for ten more minutes then both heard something in the distance. They looked at each other and acknowledged that now both heard something and they channeled a bit of chakra towards their ears to heighten their hearing. A neat trick Itachi taught them when they were younger.
They heard several footsteps far out from their position, walking slowly towards their direction. It sounded like they made an effort not to be heard. There were at least twenty different people in that group. Naori and Sasuke looked at each other. Their faces in shock and white with fear. This was not good. Not good at all. They were just about to give a silent signal back towards basecamp when two extremely potent and powerful chakras exploded by the group they heard. And suddenly they moved much faster towards them. Both were frozen in fear from the bloodlust they could feel. And at this distance. Those chakras must belong to some really powerful people they thought as they tried to scramble to their feets. But their bodies were not cooperating with them.
Suddenly they got scooped up by someone and saw that Anko was the one holding them both, and she used a shunshin to get them back to camp. The camp was in panic as everyone felt the powerful chakras and bloodlust. The most senior of the shinobis stood in front waiting on the incoming threat. Even the most senior shinobi were shaking in fear at the incoming threat.
Shifu stood in front, calm and collected. She knew what this was. She recognized the feeling of the dark chakra. All the senior shinobis knew, and that was what brought the fear. But they stood their ground to cover the retread of the younger ones.
"What is happening Anko-sensei?" Mito asked. "What is this feeling?" as she could feel her bones shake.
Anko looked at the kids calmly as she tried to come up with something. Inside she was panicking. 'What the fuck is two jinchuriki doing attacking a border camp?". This was a really bad situation.
"You guys, run towards Konoha as fast as you can. We will hold them off. Now go!" She ordered them. The kids did not understand what was going on and just stood there frozen. "RUN!" she yelled at them. But just as she did, two figures entered the camp. It was like two flaming lights of chakra crashing down on them like comets.
Those in front had no chance and got crushed within seconds by the enemy. There were now just Anko's team and a few spread out shinobis on border patrol. It would take them at least twenty minutes to get back here, but that did not matter now. Anko knew they stood no chance. She turned around to the kids "prepare yourself" was the only thing she said and her team looked at her in fear of the implication. Somehow Shifu survived and came back to Anko and team seven and placed herself at Anko's side. They all saw she was badly burnt and in need of medical attention.
Then they saw more figures enter the camp at a slower pace then the first two. In Front of them now stood around twenty iwa-shinobis and their two jinchuriki's.
"Ahhh..what a nice surprise. Anko the snake mistress and a bunch of children" The jinchuriki known as Han said as he recognized the Konoha nin. "And who might you be?" he said as he looked at Shifu.
"Back the fuck off" Anko said with venom in her voice as she and Shifu took a stance infront of the kids. She knew they had no hope of defeating these guys, but they had to try at least.
"Hahaha, resisting is futile. Just give up and let us have some fun with you two and those pretty girls" Han kept on talking. He must be a vile bastard.
"You won't lay a single hand on them you sick fuck. Now fuck off!" She said and threw her hands out as hundreds of snakes flew towards them.
The other jinchuriki just stepped in front and let the snakes hit him point blank and they all evaporated from the heat his chakra was producing. Anko gritted her teeth in frustration and fear. This was no fight she had any hope of getting out of. She knew this was the place she would die. And most likely her students as well, she thought bitterly.
During all this Naori unconsciously touched her marker that Naruto gave her. And she just hoped he would come in time.
"Stop playing around Han, and let's just finish this" The other jinchuriki said as he shot towards the Konoha nins at alarming speeds. Intending to make this quick whit overwhelming power.
Far away in another part of the fire country. Naruto pulled his sword out from the head of a dead Kumo-nin and cleaned his blade. "Hey Itachi, go fetch the others and let's get out of here" he called out to his teammate. All around him lay corpses mutilated in all kinds of ways, and Naruto was covered in blood. They had just stopped a bigger scouting party from Kumo. Suddenly Naruto felt someone activating one of his markers. 'Thats Naori's marker' he thought and without a second thought or even telling Itachi, he was gone in a flash.
The kids and the adults just stood there frozen waiting for their upcoming deaths.
Anko and Shifu did everything they could to make a durable defense, even though they knew nothing short of a miracle could stop the incoming Jinchūriki. Suddenly they heard a big crash, almost like something running really fast into a wall of some sort. And the expected attack never came. The kids slowly opened their eyes and looked at what happened. While Anko and Shifu just stood there gaping like fishes.
The jinchuriki that was running towards them were not in front of them anymore as they saw he flew backwards towards his friends at high speeds. Instead, in front of them stood a man with his back towards them. He had blood all over him and had an purple looking aura of chakra oozing around him. They faintly recognized the feeling of the man's chakra, but they could not really place it. This chakra was even more powerful and oppressive than the two jinchurikis. And then they saw the red hair waving in the wind like a storm had caught it. Both Anko and Shifu recognized the pressens. 'Thanks the gods' the thought.
"Niisan?" Mito stammered out. She could almost not believe this was how Naruto's chakra really felt. The chakra felt so twisted and sinister but yet warm and comforting. 'What is this feeling?' She thought. Even though she did not recognize the chakra entirely. She knew directly who it was.
The figure turned his head towards them. "I felt your call Naori. I'm very grateful" he smiled at them. And they were all shocked at how he looked. He had black scaly looking markings around his eyes and his eyes bore the famous eternal mangekyou sharingan in all its glory. And he was covered in blood. They all felt extremely grateful for Narutos timely interference. But they all felt a lump in their stomach at his fearsome expression. He looked like he wanted to murder someone, and boy was their intuitions right. Naruto was pissed off.
"You guys stay back a bit will ya? I will handle this" he told them in a somewhat calm but restrained manner as he tried to keep his bloodlust down. They all just nodded in shock and backed off a bit. Even Anko has not seen Naruto like this. He seemed really pissed off, but at the same time a bit excited. "Will you be okay Shifu-san?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow as he saw her injuries. She could not say anything but nod. "I'll fix you up later," he added.
Naruto turned around and looked at the jinchurikis and the other iwa shinobis. He narrowed his eyes as he glared at them. They dared attack his sisters and their team. They would pay in blood.
"It was a big mistake of you coming here" he said, so cold it could freeze hell ten times over.
"But I have to thank you. You just made my job that much easier" he smiled at them like some crazed demon. Then he locked eyes with both the Jinchūrikis. "Han and Roshi, was a nice surprise" he smiled at them like he had no care about the power they were releasing.
Behind him, the Konoha nins just looked at him flabbergasted. They all thought he was crazy. How could he be so calm in a situation like this? Did he not see how powerful the enemy was? They were freaking jinchurikis. Granted their brother was one as well, but they were two. And twenty somewhat shinobi as well. They could all feel the restrained fury coming from Naruto's voice as he talked calmly to the enemy. This just made him that much scarier.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Who the fuck are you?" Han yelled back at him. He could not believe the power this guy was showing.
"Dont be Stupid Han. That's Naruto Uzumaki, you should know this" The now known Roshi said to his fellow jinchuriki. "We should retreat," he added calmly.
"I can't let you do that. I need you two. Or more specifically your bijuu's" he told them calmly. "I'm going to rip them out of you" he winked at them, staring at them with his mangekyou active.
Roshi just raised an eyebrow 'This is not good. We really have to leave' he thought.
"Hahahaha, you are a bit delusional. Are you not?" Han laughed at him.
Naruto said nothing and just disappeared from view in a flash. Noone could follow him, and just a few seconds later he was back at the same spot. All of the iwa shinobi surrounding their jinchurikis exploded in showers of blood. They had all been cut to ribbons in a span of a few seconds. And their bodies, at least what was left of them, fell in piles towards the ground. They had no time to scream or make any sounds.
Those behind him looked on in shock at how brutally he had killed all those shinobis and felt their stomachs turn as Mito and Sasuke fell to the ground to throw up. Anko was looking at the display like a fangirl and was gaping like a fish. But even she had to admit the display of power was a bit disturbing. Shifu looked quite calm, she had seen the work of Naruto-san plenty before.
Han and Roshi felt sweat prickle down their backs. They knew they were in over their heads. Yes they were jinchurikis, but this guy was something else entirely. They had to find a way to get out and tried to make a run for it.
Naruto was not one for beating around the bush too much and he knew jinchuriki were immensely powerful. So he went hard right from the start. "You are not going anywhere" he said calmly and made a motion with his hand. Both Han and Roshi were caught by some sort of bindings. They looked down and saw vines and small branches growing up from the ground hugging all around their bodies. They thrashed with all their power but could not move an inch. And they turned their heads back towards Naruto and looked at him in fear. Han and Roshi made one last effort and tried to fully release their bijuus power. Naruto noticed this as he felt his bindings from his mokuton were going to break soon. 'They are some strong bastards' he thought with a grin as he felt the thrill of fighting strong opponents. He wasted no time and used a fast shunshin to land right in front of them. Then he slapped his hands on their heads and put his strongest chakra suppression seals on them. And he saw the bijuus chakra cloaks disappear around them.
"Got ya" he told them as he looked at them. He almost sounded a bit giddy, they thought. Just like a child that just caught someone in a game. That made them fear this man even more. 'This guy is fucking nuts' Han thought in fear. The first thing Naruto did was to fully pacify the bijuus inside of them with his mangekyou which was easy enough. Naruto then made a set of hand signs and whispered something they could not make out. Han and Roshi then saw two hands made of wood growing out from Naruto's stomach and towards them. When the hands made of wood touched them, they felt no pain as they were expecting. Only a warm and strange sensation as the hands softly touched their exposed skin. Then the horror hit them, they could feel their bijuus chakra rushing out from them traveling towards Naruto at alarming speeds. They screamed in pain now and thrashed to try and get away but their efforts were for nothing. Naruto just smiled at their struggle. They had attacked his sisters, no mercy was given today. He probably wouldn't show mercy anyway, but attacking his family was a big mistake.
"Well, you don't really have to be alive for the rest. I have enough to finish this" he said in a cold voice.
Naruto took out two kunai's and put them against their chests right over their hearts. He looked at them with calm eyes "This is less than you deserve" he said as he slowly and painfully pushed the kunai's into their bodies until it reached their hearts. And both were dead in seconds. It took a few more minutes then Naruto had absorbed both bijuus fully and was now a jinchuriki of three bijuus. He could feel the power surging through him and he smiled as he was one step closer now. He let out a sign and turned around towards Anko's team and Shifu as he started to walk towards them.
"Sorry you had to see that" was all he said as he scratched his head. "Maybe I went a bit overboard". He looked at their shocked faces "At Least you are all fine, that is all that matters" and he smiled at them.
"WHAT IN THE FUCK NIISAN!" Mito yelled "what in the hell was that?" she asked in a lower voice. Still trying to wipe the vomit from her mouth.
"Language Mito," Naruto said half sternly. "And what was what?" he asked.
"They just exploded in blood! And what happened to the two others? What was that floating into you?" She asked, fumbling on her words.
"Ah that. Well I thought that the best thing would be to end their miserable lives fast. And it was pretty fast right?" He smiled at them. He saw their looks and he understood now. Maybe he should take this a bit more seriously. This was the first time any of them saw something even close to that. "I'm really sorry you had to see that, really I am. But we are shinobi. This is just the way I work. And for the two jinchurikis, let's just say Kurama got two new roommates" he said, now with a more serious tone. They all just looked at him in shock.
"You sealed two more bijuus inside of yourself?" Naori asked, flabbergasted.
"That's right" Was Narutos only answer.
Now it was Ankos' time to ask. "How is that even possible?"
"I make it possible Anko-san" he answers
"But why? Why seal the bijuu inside of you? That may kill you!" Anko said, displaying concern for one of her only friends.
"Don't worry about me Anko-san. And I'm sorry, I can't say. It's top secret" he answers.
"Where is Itachi and the rest of your team Naruto-san?" Sasuke asked as he talked for the first time since Naruto's arrival. When he saw Naruto, he knew his brother must be close by. They were almost always together.
"Oh them, well they are far away in another part of the fire country cleaning up a mess. I kinda left them there to get here. So we need to hurry now, i need to get you guys back to the village" He said as he prepared to summon.
"Oh right, first off" he said as he closed in on Shifu and his hand started to glow with that purple-ish color. "Just relax," he said to the woman. And she could feel all her damage being healed rapidly. As soon as he was done he asked "Better?".
She felt all over her body and face where she was previously burned and was in shock at how incredible his healing abilities were. "Yes, thank you Naruto-san," she said in a low voice. Still in shock after everything that just happened.
He nodded towards and then bit his thumb and did the hand signs necessary. Then put his hand on the ground and said Kuchiyose no Jutsu and everyone saw a blood red haired beauty appear beside Naruto.
"Say hello to Nagajo-san," Naruto said to the team and smiled. Everyone looked quietly in shock at her appearance and just waved awkwardly at her.
Naruto ignored their reactions and turned towards Nagajo as he was in a hurry to get back to his team. "Nagajo-san. Please stay here with Shifu-san for a while until the Konoha border patrol gets back and then tell them what happened. And make sure iwa does not send more shinobi into the fire country as well. Anyone that is not a Konoha shinobi, you may kill on sight." And she nodded at this.
"Of course Naruto-sama" she told him.
"I will be back soon and get you. You will be needed much in the near future. I just sealed the first two bijuu. Now the hunt is on" he said and smirked. "And the shinobi world war just started," he added. And she just nodded.
"I will do as you wish," Nagajo said.
"I will take these back to Konoha and inform Hiruzen" he said and then went up to the kids and their sensei and stretched out a hand "Grab on" he told them and they all took hold of his arm. Then they were all gone in a flash or red.
Hiruzen was in his office talking with Shikaku the jonin commander and the hokages advisers, including the scarred Danzo. Suddenly there was a red flash in the office and they all could see five more people now in the office. Three kids that looked scared out of their minds and Anko-san and then one really bloody looking Naruto.
"What's the meaning of this!" Homura barked out before anyone could say anything. Naruto just gave the old man a glare that promised pain if he did not shut up. Naruto was fed up with these old fools.
"Naruto-kun? Team seven? What are you doing here?" Hiruzen said as he was shocked at their sudden appearances.
"The war just started, Hokage-sama. Iwa attacked the western border outpost with their two Jinchūriki." Was the only reply they got from Naruto.
"WHAT?!" Koharu yelled, not understanding what Naruto just said. Danzo just stood quietly averting his eyes from Naruto. He was wary of the young man as he knew he had no problem ending his life when he saw fit. He still remembered the scar he gave him.
"Explain," Hiruzen said with authority.
"I got a signal from Naori here" he said and smiled down proudly at her. "I left my team as we were already done with what we were doing. And got to these guys as fast as possible. When I got there, they were under attack from twenty or so iwa shinobi and both iwa's jinchūrikis." he ended
"And?" Hiruzen inquired
"And i killed them and sealed the bijuus" Naruto answers flatly. He had no time for this, he needed to get back to his team and then begin his mission.
"So it has come to this," Hiruzen said as he signed. The other advisers were in too much shock to say anything. They all knew how dangerous Naruto was, and even more so now. So they kept their mouths shut. And they already knew about Naruto's plan. They could do nothing to stop it even if they wanted to.
"I need to get back to my team Hiruzen. And I need to start with my mission. The others can explain in more detail on the events at the border. I left Nagajo at the outpost to keep watch and wait for the rest of the border patrol to get back." he said and then added "May i leave?"
"Who is this Nagajo?" Koharu asked with a stern voice.
Naruto just glared at her offhandedly "None of your business council woman" he said to her clearly choosing to be disrespectful.
"You may Naruto" he said in a low voice as he signed. He hoped it would not come to this. At least Konoha did not start the war. Now they had to do anything in their power to end it.
Before Naruto could leave Hiruzen added "Naruto-kun, please be careful"
Naruto just nodded towards the hokage with a serious expression. And before he left he glared at Danzo with his mangekyou active. His look told Danzo everything he needed to know 'if you so much as move an inch towards my family, i'll end you'. Danzo tried to ignore it, but he knew the threat was as real as it could get. Then Naruto was gone.
"Such disrespect! You must control your shinobis better, Hiruzen" Homura barked out towards the hokage.
"That's Hokage-sama to you" he glared back at his old teammate. And the advisors wisely shut their mouths.
Hiruzen knew Naruto was a bit out there when it came to doing things the right way. He had no diplomatic bone in his whole body. But he respected the hokage and his decisions, even if he could be pushing his luck sometimes. But he was also the strongest person in the whole elemental nations and their best bet to end this war. People like him tended to get a bit of freedom at how they acted.
"Leave us. I want to talk to team seven here alone" he told the advisors sternly. "Shikaku, you can stay as well" he added and the jonin commander just nodded as he had a smirk on his face.
Shikaku may not always agree with Naruto's methods. But he got stuff done. And he was their greatest military asset. He did however quite like how he put the old advisors in their place.
The advisors knew it was not time to argue and nodded respectfully and made their way out of the office. They were fuming in rage but could do nothing at the moment.
When they left, Anko began giving her report on the events. Hiruzen felt a bit put off by the details on how Naruto killed them, especially with team seven being there watching. But he guessed the whole situation kind of pissed Naruto off.
Back with team sharingan. Itachi was talking to Kakashi about their next objective when two people they recognized came into view as they saw a red flash. Naruto had brought Nagajo as well.
"Welcome back Naruto" Itachi said and then looked at his partner and bowed "Nagajo-sama" he greeted her.
"Itachi-san" she said and smiled at him and then looked towards the older man "Kakashi-san" she greeted.
"Yo," Naruto said. "Where is Shisui?" he asked them
"He is just out scouting, he will be back soon" Kakashi answers.
"What happened Naruto?" Itachi asked as he was curious. He thought it must have been his sisters or mother that called on him.
"Iwa decided to attack the western outpost. And it so happened that team seven were there during the attack" he looked at them and saw Itachi's concern. "Sasuke and the others are just fine. A bit scarred and confused maybe. But physically fine" he smiled at his friend.
"So the war has started then" Kakashi said matter of factly.
"It would seem so. There is a bonus though. They attacked with both their Jinchūrikis. Short story, they are now dead and their bijuus are sealed in me" Naruto said with a smirk.
Itachi just raised his eyebrow "So your mission has begun?" he asked.
"Yes, now it's time to collect the rest," Naruto said in a serious tone.
"I know where Chomei and Isobu are. Chomei is sealed inside a young girl in taki and Isobu is roaming free in the waters outside Kirigakure. I'm going to go after them with Nagajo-sama. It should be quick work. In the meantime you guys are to locate the six-tails. It's sealed in someone called Utakata, a missing nin from Kirigakure. After that we will go after Shukaku. Lastly we will take the remaining two together in Kumo, and while we are there. We are to crush any military might we can." He told them his plan.
"We will find this Utakata person. When we do we will signal you with our markers. But please Naruto, refrain from killing the host of Chomei. She is an innocent girl, hated by her village." Itachi told his friend.
"Sure Itachi. I wont kill her. I was actually planning on bringing her back to Konoha if she agrees. I don't really like taki and how they abuse their Jinchūriki. And Mei-sama knows about my plan. She has told me I won't have any resistance from Kirigakure while sealing the Isobu" he finished.
"I may as well start right away. Say hi to Shisui from me. And be careful" Naruto said as he prepared to leave.
"Same to you Naruto and Nagajo. Stay safe" Kakashi said
"Just don't do anything reckless," Itachi said.
"Of course Itachi-san, you know me" Naruto said and winked as he and Nagajo was gone in a red flash
Both Itachi and Kakashi just rolled their eyes at what he said.
Naruto and Nagajo stood at the border to taki. He turned to Nagajo "Maybe we should keep a low profile and do this stealthily. Even though I don't like the country, they are still in an alliance with us. We get in and get the girl before anyone notices and do the sealing here in fire country. They will know who took her, but they won't be able to do anything anyway. They had their chance. If they want to be fools and attack Konoha, its their own downfall" He told his plan to Nagajo
She nodded in agreement "That sounds like a good plan" she said.
"I know I can seal the beast without killing the host. I just hope it does not hurt the girl too much." he thought as he had pity for the girl. "Lets be on our way then" he said as he and Nagajo crossed the border on foot at high speeds. He had no markers in Taki, so no way for him to teleport around like in fire country.
In Iwagakure. Onoki sat at his desk and read a grim report. How could this happen? It must be that Namikaze bastards child that did this. His two most valued weapons of war disappeared somehow. They could only find the corpses of their chunin and jounins, dead at the border in a very gruesome manner. He could only think of one person that would be that brutal. Uzumaki Naruto. 'He must have made good on his promise then, and sealed the bijuus inside of himself. I did not believe it was possible!' he thought with a frown as he narrowed his eyes in anger. This was a really bad situation. And attacking Konoha now at full force without a plan would end in their destruction.
He shouted to his secretary and she came running in as he sounded livid. This must be something really important, she thought. "Summon the war council" was the only thing the old man said. And she nodded in shock and scrambled out his office in haste.
'It's time we contact Kumo and also try to get the services of Akatsuki' he thought as he wanted nothing more than to crush Konoha and that damn Uzumaki.

And about Naruto getting some milf action, it's not going to happen. But there will be hints on a relationship he is developing slowly with someone.
