Waller slowly melted into his chair and remained there lazily. He looked around his office aimlessly. He quickly glanced at everything there: a wooden desk with a few drawers, a greyish locker in the corner with a damaged lock (not the most convenient but it does the job adequately), a coat rack filled with a bunch of different jackets that Waller liked, the concrete ground that was quite hard on his feet and the carpet that covered it, providing some relief to when he was walking. He groaned as now, there was very little to do. He could go visit the new prisoner, but that mammal isn't very talkative. He then span around his chair loosely, bored out of his mind.

This was when his phone vibrated. He quickly perked up as his ears pricked up as well. "Who? What? Why?" Waller quickly blurted out.

He picked up his phone and noticed a notification on the screen. It was a message... from a random number... ominously reading, "It is time now."

"My questions still... oh... all of a sudden they're all answered." He chuckled. Then he sighed as another message was sent.

"Call him first then prep. BTW take that coat."

He looked at it blankly then responded quickly. "Why THAT one?"

"Distances you from everyone else."

"But you know why I don't wear it."

"Thats exactly why Im asking you to wear it."

Waller groaned then turned slowly to his locker. "That coat, huh?"

Then another buzz came. "Holy fucking shit, are you done yet?" He turned around quickly and pounced at the phone.

"You still have the macatrov, right?"

"What the... yes, I do, why?"

"You haven't used it in a while, hard to track it back to you."

"My past is not something I want to go back to."

"Face it. It is a part of you. We may need that part of you again."

"I'm not you, you dumb pelt."

"Window ;)"

Waller turned around to the window that was above him to his right and pointed his finger out. He scowled menacingly. Then a flash occurred quickly; Waller knew what that meant. He dropped to the floor instantly.

"I'd've shot u by now can you stp playin now?"

Waller stood up and nodded. "What is wrong with you?" He murmured.

Waller then grabbed his phone and called Isamu. After a few rings, the fox picked up. "Hey, err... sorry don't remember your name, we have work to do."

Isamu groaned from the other side of the call. "Isamu Jiro is my name. And what are you talking about?"

"Oh right. Spectre just texted me I'm pretty sure. Remember that thing he asked us to do? Yeah, we do it now."

"Oh, it's you. Waller, I will meet you by the car park that is nearby."

"Agreed." Waller heard the line disconnect. "He hung up on me." He stood in disbelief.

He blinked a few times then turned to the locker he was heading to originally. He opened it and as the locker opened up more it creaked a bit. "I need to fix the damned creak." He pulled out his Macatrov, screwed on a suppressor and then loaded it. "I haven't had to use this gun for a while. Hoped I wouldn't have to for longer." He then grabbed the jacket and placed the Macatrov in an inside pocket. Then was when it hit him. "I can't just leave." He turned towards the door, where an otter stood. "Oh fuck."

Jewel entered the room. "What are you doing?"

"I could ask the same question."

"I had a few questions, but now I question your loyalty."

"Of course, because I would betray Silver."

"I don't know you well enough to trust you like that. Also, don't say the boss's name like that!"

"Of course you d- this isn't because Spectre scared you and I was there, is it?"

"What?! No, it isn't." She rebutted aggressively. She then left the room in a huff and walked away.

Waller rolled his eyes and pulled out his phone. He then quickly tapped a message. "I'm going on patrol, kinda bored here."

"Stay safe." was the entire response.

He returned to his locker and grabbed the trench coat. He looked at it for a few seconds then sniffed it. That was when his mind started to wander.

10 years earlier.

Wallace proudly pulled out his trench coat. It was such a snug fit, one that no other piece of clothing ever was. He rubbed it with great glee. His paw glided gracefully along the surface of the coat. He was in bliss. He tapped his right hip to see if his gun was there, and it was. He left his flat with his chin held high. The lock clicked behind him and he was on his way. His smile was subtle but he was definitely smiling. He was filled with confidence, strolling down the road. Mammals passed him and gave no mind to the chirpy wolf. To be fair to them, he was like this every single day.

Once again, he entered the hotel that was in the middle of the street. There was a few other wolves in there. "Hey buddy, you ready to rob that bank?"

"Of course, I got my gun and everything."

"Good, good. Then we are ready." The wolf then paused for a second. "Think your brother will be an issue?"

"Nah, he should be busy elsewhere."

"Good, good." That was when a red van pulled up, also keeping a couple wolves inside.

"We got the drill."

"Si hermano, we got what was asked." The driver spoke up, eager to get the show on the road.

The four other wolves sat in the back discussed their plan as the van moved to their spot. "Remember, you will get the codes from the manager." One of the wolves nodded. "You will make sure the entrance is clear, until well the obvious happens." The other wolf nodded. "You will wait here, until you are called, then you will knock some heads." Wallace nodded. The wolf then turned and knocked on the wall of the van.

"Que? Can't you tell I'm driving?"

"Remember, you are the getaway driver."

"Si, si, I know that." The driver responded snappily. "You don't have to doubt me hermano." The was a loud growl. "Why is there traffic? Mierda."

"Calm down, we won't have traffic later." The alpha laughed.

"I just can't wait to wreak havoc soon." Wallace added.

"Of course of course." The alpha silenced everyone in the van. "Time to cover yourselves." Everyone but Wallace and the driver put on a balaclava and covered their faces. That was when the van stopped. "We're going in." The three of them ran out. Wallace exited and entered into the passenger seat.

"Hermano, we don't have much time. Are you sure you are ready?"

"Si hermano, I'm ready." That was when Wallace's phone buzzed. "Time to bounce. I expected longer."

"So did I amigo. Adios and good luck." Wallace stepped out. He put on some shades and casually strolled towards the bank in question.

There a grey fox was talking to a bank accountant. "Hey, how is the money on this account looking?"

"There has been an increase in 450,000 zoollars since the last time you have asked sir."

"That's good to hear, and what about the wolves that have entered? You gonna deal with them accordingly o-" Then they were out of the room as they walked into a small side room to talk further.

Wallace walked towards the back, where a bunch of guards were standing around guarding a few doors, mostly leading to the vault and security rooms. "Hey friends, do you think you could help me find something?"

"Sir, you would need to ask someone else."

"Right, right, but I think you would know where it is." Wallace stated before pulling out his gun. "Can you take me to the vault? Please." The guards nervously raised their paws and one opened the door behind him. That was when the other three ran from behind him. They barrelled towards the vault and tried to open it with the drill they brought. "What's the rush guys?"

"The police has already been called, someone here was careless."

"Honestly, I'm thankful about that." Wallace responded with a smile. "Time to get busy." The four sprinted towards the vault. When Wallace entered, he saw that the other three were already messing with the drill to go through the lock. After about three minutes, the bank's phone rang.

"Wall, go pick that up." He nodded and walked towards it.

"Hello? Hello? Oh thank goodness. I need help." Wallace spoke in a squeaky and panicking voice.

"Hello, sir, please remain calm, we will get you out of this situation."

"Yeah, they are crazy, they say they will kill everyone inside if you guys don't co-" He put a barrel to his own head and cocked his gun. Then he moved the phone a bit further away. "Who ya talking to buddy?"

"Hey, if it weren't my old friends, the police."

"Sir, we would like to negotiate any hostages' release, preferably all of them." Wallace looked around the empty bank, just to make sure. "Of course. The deal is simple, just let us go and we won't hurt anyone. But maybe a nice plane would be good."

"Sir, we can't do that. We want everyone to be happy and those mammals that are stuck in there won't be. Put yourself in their shoes."

"Then they should've ran when they had the chance. You willing to let us go to get to them?"

"We will need to discuss this further."

"Call me back when your ready." Wallace hung the phone up. "Yo, we clear for a bit."

"Good, whacha tell em?" The alpha asked curiously.

"Well, that we're gonna kill the hostages we have if they don't let us go."

"And they believe that?"

"For now."

"You three patrol the area, I'll keep guard of the drill."

The three wolves split apart and walked their own separate way. Wallace decided to go upstairs and watch from the top what is happening. At the top, he heard a voice. "Interesting bank you decided to rob, you know." Wallace pulled out his gun and ran up the stairs, making sure he was ready to shoot whoever was there.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" He then saw a lone fox sitting outside on a windowsill. "Who the fuck are you to tell me shit about robbing a place?"

"Well, a this bank is actually used by the Saharan crime ring. Just saying." He turned around. "Now, the real question is, how will you hurt your hostages?" He smiled. "But you knew that, or at least your so called alpha did, right?"

He jumped into the building and walked towards Wallace, who was still pointing a gun at him. "Who the fuck are you?" He was about to pull the trigger, but felt a slight pain in his stomach.

"I can tell when you are about to pull a trigger, I'm just a guy who wants to talk, Mr. Muscle."

"How did you...?"

"You know what a burner is?"

"What, oh shit. You caught us, what are you, a cop?"

"Psssh hah as if. Those clowns are all on someone's payroll. Well, except one, you know who." He winked. The fox climbed through the window and climbed to the roof, where he seemingly vanished. As Wallace looked through the window, he noticed something.

"Shit." He dashed back downstairs as quick as he could. "Guys, we have an issue. They have snipers set up all around." He caught his breath quickly. "They could shoot us on sight when we leave."

"Good thing we are leaving already thro-" An explosion occurred from one of the side walls. They went to hurry up but then another explosion went off beside them.

After a few seconds of ringing ears, Wallace got up. So did the alpha. "Glad to see you are okay."

"They know we are empty."

"What do you mean?"

"Who in their right mind would risk killing those they are trying to save?"

"No-one."

"Unless they know they don't have that caution to worry about."

"You're right, lets go."

Then a bunch of bright lights flooded the room. "Paws up, you have until the count of three to surrender." Wallace looked to the outside and saw that grey fox from before. He was holding a suppressed pistol and pointed it at Wallace's head. Wallace looked around quickly and noticed that the vault door was still open and intact. He rolled behind it and shot at a few cops that were still visible to him. The alpha was about to follow suit but then got a bullet through the head.

"No, fuck." Wallace reloaded his pistol and jumped through the hole they carved out, since it was safer for him now rather than before. During that, a bullet grazed his arm. He didn't care though, he had to get to the van and escape.

In the tunnel, Wallace saw a cop, one singular cop. But it was the worst one they could've sent. "Michael, don't do this."

"Wallace, I have to." The two drew their guns and pointed it at each other, but kept their fingers off of the triggers. Then Wallace dropped his arm in pain. "Just paw yourself in, we can help you. I can help you."

"You weren't there when I needed you the most, they were."

"Bro, you know why though."

"Don't call me that, they were more of my brothers than you ever were." Wolford lowered his pistol and holstered it.

"Then let me fix that." Wallace shook his head and charged at the other wolf.

The two fought but didn't use their claws or teeth in this fight. It was only punches and kicks. Whenever one hit, the other countered and vice versa. It was a stalemate. And with it being a stalemate, it was mostly Michael's victory. However, midway through, the grey fox from before jumped down and pointed his gun at the two wolves.

"So you work with them as well, huh? No matter." When Wallace heard this, he grabbed his brother and jumped out of the way.

"It's me you want, leave him out of it."

"I don't want either of you, but lessons need to be taught." Wallace then rolled out and fired a couple times with his pistol, completely missing but surprising the fox. It this moment of hesitation, Wallace got up and ran away, he knew exactly where to go from here.

He reached a dead end and started to climb up. He pulled out his switch-blade and unscrewed the cover. There he saw a couple police officers and his van. He snuck up on the police officers and slit one of their throats, the other one, he grabbed and stabbed repeatedly in the stomach and chest, until the body stopped resisting. He grabbed the van's handle but saw that it was littered with bullet holes. "Amigo, you there?" No answer. "Hermano?" Still nothing. He climbed up and saw a body covered in bullet wounds. "Fuck."

"Yeah, fuck indeed."

"Oh come on." Wallace groaned, looking at the silver fox again. He got down onto his knees and sighed. "Kill me then." The fox walked up and planted the pistol's barrel against his forehead.

"I plan to." That was when Wallace moved his head a bit and grabbed the gun, pushing it the other way. Then he pulled it towards him and punched the fox in the stomach. The fox grabbed the fist slowing it down slightly and used this moment to shoot the wolf in the leg. "Nice try." He coughed out. "But it'll take more than a punch to stop me." Wallace then swept the fox's leg, causing to fall to the ground. The wolf used this moment to stand up, struggling with his shot leg. The fox then stood up and charged at the wolf. Wallace grabbed him with his left paw and punched the fox's jaw with his right. He then shoved him to the ground and fled. "Interesting." The fox mumbled to himself while holding his jaw in slight discomfort. He stood up and walked to his car.

The wolf thought he was safe now. He clutched his leg, trying to stop the bleeding. Then a car turned around and stopped beside him. "What are you looking at?"

"A possible recruit. You game?"

"What do you mean am I game?"

"I mean wanna at least be part of an outfit? Or you could have the police overwhelm you. The choice is yours." Wallace groaned and jumped in. "What's your name?"

"Call me Wall."

"Waller? Okay, Waller, what do you think of the Saharan syndicate?"

"It's fine, I guess, don't know much though."

The fox smirked a bit. "Good, that way, we won't be making this too bad. You know normally this is where they say 'A lot of bad shit.' and then we beat the shit out of them until they submit."

"You killed my alpha."

"I was aiming for you first."

"Thanks for the reassurance."

"This isn't some fucking after-school club you can just quit."

"Well, it wasn't a choice for me, was it?"

"Not my point. Just behave, when we get there, and you'll be fine." Wallace nodded. "By the way, call me Silver, you can guess why."

"And the red fox with black marks in a suit?"

"No idea."

"Shit, there was another party then."

"We'll deal with them. Don't worry, maybe we'll even send you." Wallace rolled his eyes. "It'll definitely be safer for you than that band of misfits and you will have more money than that pack ever could've."

"Some things are too good to be true." Wallace retorted, knowing when he is being conned. He wasn't sure if this was a con though, he was still skeptical.

"Waller, trust me, this isn't one of those times."

"Then why me?"

"Because a) you are the one alive and b) you are pretty capable in a fight, we could use more mammals like you, which we have." Silver sighed. "Trust me it ain't all bad."

"By the way, I'm not called Waller, you know that right?"

"I'm not called Silver, what's your point?"

"Fair enough."

Present day.

"Ugh, it was a tough time for me, I don't wanna go back." He sighed morosely. He put on the jacket and buttoned it up.

He walked out of the room he was in and headed towards his car. The corridor seemed bland yet familiar. Every room seemed different yet the same. He made sure that his rifle was still present. "Check." He then started his car and left for where he was meant to wait for the ninja.

He sat on the hood of his car for about twenty minutes, playing on his phone to pass the time. "Where are you, fox I don't remember the name of?" Just as he said that, a mammal jumped down from the roof and landed gently beside the wolf.

"Sorry for my lateness, I had to be extra careful and then retrieve my gear."

"Alls forgiven." Waller stood up and proceeded to the door beside them.

A/N: So, kinda awkward, My PC was broken and had to get it fixed, then exams came and all that. Sorry about that. I hope you dont mind me just taking that long of a break.

Now, yeah, I wanted to write this chapter for a while, but obviously couldn't. Ugh but it is good to be back and my ideas haven't changed at all so don't worry, I still don't know who the main protagonist is.

With that being said, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and see ya guys.
